HAPPY 4TH OF JULY EVERYONE !!! ** Please remember our military both who have served and who ARE currently serving. THANK YOU to all those who are serving or have served to keep this country safe and letting FREEDOM ring ! **

We didn’t have any plans for the 4th. Brad got to sleep in extrrrrrra late today and I did too… a little but I had to get up earlier since I had to do the usual Mommy duties. Last night, while Brad was watching a Netflix movie.. I decided to get on the exercise bike for just a little! That inspired me to do exercise today. This morning, I only had a little watermelon and a date. After Katie went to play on the porch, I started my workout and overall got an HOUR in!!! Mix of treadmill, bike and the Wii Active! I’m gonna continue that ALL week with a mixup of those. I was sweating pretty good afterwards, WOOHOOO. A little bit later, I had my little fiber/protein/supplement shake plus H2O!

I know I just posted the other day about not counting calories… but I feel more accountable and in a routine when I am counting calories. Plus, I’ve been going way over where I need to be as far as losing weight PLUS after doing this cleanse and my stomach much smaller.. I have felt so uncomfortable because I haven’t been watching calories and eating too much for my now smaller stomach. My plan is to eat a certain amount of calories every few hours and stay with it. Also, keep up with an hour of exercise 5 days a week and keep building up my endurance, strength and etc. I’m excited !!!

We needed to pick up a few things from Wal-Mart and the dark clouds were rolling in so we decided to head out before It was time for Katie’s nap. We got some VEGGIE DOGS for our 4th of July dinner, hot dog buns for Brad, regular bread for Brad + Katie, grape juice and cheese for Brad, mustard and a dry erase board for me!! Seeeeeee….

Already got my exercise schedule written down for the week and nutrition info! Anyhow, it started POURING when we were in the check out isle then the lights went out in Wal-Mart, lol. By the time we got to the front of the store, it was raining really hard and then the wind picked up… sheesh!! Brad ran out to get the car and pick us up – he got DRENCHED, literally! It’s been storming off and on all afternoon. In fact, I hear a little thunder out there now.

We came home and I fixed an awesome 200 calorie giant salad for a late lunch!!!

It was beyond delicious and for only around 200 calories, that is SUPER. I eventually got a shower and we just chilled out while Katie took a nap. I felt a little hungry about an hour before dinner so I ate this beauty:
A cup of watermelon and almost a cup of organic CHERRIES! I drank plenty of water as well. The people in our area didn’t get BBQ’s or fireworks tonight with the storms so I am sure there a lot of disappointed kids especially.

I figured we could have VEGGIE DOGS to celebrate the 4th! They were actually really good!!!!!

I paired it with a green bean, cucumber, almond and greens salad = YUM. I ate one of the doggies by itself with mustard and chopped up the other to go into my salad.

Dessert is in the freezer! Half a cup of my awesome plain Greek Gods yogurt, 1 tablespoon of heavenly almond BUTTAH, strawberry and a sprinkle of these: kashi cereal, protein powder, goji berries and LOTS of cinnamon!!! I’m gonna put it on an………. ICE CREAM CONE!!! I haven’t had on in forever and I LOOK FORWARD TO IT!
