This is gonna be a super fast week since Monday was a holiday – I just know it! First thing this morning, I decided to have CEREAL and berries!!! I don’t remember the little bits I added to it? Think a little protein powder and goji berries all covered in my favooooorite unsweetened almond milk. YES PLEASE.

I was debating on whether I should go ahead and work out when I first get up or wait, take my morning nap while Katie is still sleeping then work out once Katie is up and playing on the porch. Yea, the latter WON!!! I ate, went back to sleep then woke up starving! I got Katie situated then ate half of my ODWALLA SUPER PROTEIN bar…. DROOOOOL. Plus a date!
Katie sat on the potty for her morning um… bowel movement haha and I started my exercise bike routine! I stopped after a few minutes to go check on her and she was done! I let her play on the porch while I did 20 minutes bike, 10 minutes Wii Active then finally 30 minutes walking/jogging on the treadmill! I worked up a great sweat ONCE AGAIN! I love it. It’s nice to do the workout later in the morning too because I have the air off while Katie is on the porch so I DEFFO get a GOOD sweat without the A/C — which is what I want! My arms are a little sore tonight, woot! Once done, my post workout meal was my fiber/supplement/protein powder SHAKEEEE. Katie played, ate lunch then eventually went down for her nap but still tried to fight her sleep… not unusual in this house, ugh. I fixed my big ole’ salad for lunch and it was so good! Went to wash off with a hot bath to refresh and tried some of the all-natural body wash/shampoo that Brad bought at Whole Foods. It made me tingly!

I did a little bit of college work once I got to the computer then eventually came up with this for an afternoon snack….

I decided to attempt a new dish!
In the combo…

  • 1/2 cup quinoa
  • 1/2 cup blueberries
  • 1 CUP strawberries!
  • almonds
  • cinnamon
  • tiny bit of unsweetened almond milk

It was alright! I need something a little sweeter to go into it next time. I like quinoa though.. like it better with veggies. Katie got up, had her snack and played. Brad called me to say that he was gonna go a new tire for the car since we noticed the other day that one was about to blow out since it had a “buldge” in it and he wanted to get that taken care of BEFORE he actually had a blow-out on the road that could be very dangerous. It took a long time so he didn’t get home till about 7:30pm and he also took the car to get it vacuumed out – heh!! My dinner was another gigantic salad with chopped CHERRIES! and 2 more of our veggie dogs leftover from yesterday.

Dessert is similar to yesterday… a little! Frozen cup of: greek yog, protein powder, coconut shavings, 1 chopped dried apricot, 1 chopped date, sprinkle of kashi cereal and I’m about to PLOP it on top of my ice cream cone!!!

Didn’t get to watch the latest episode of SECRET LIFE but you knoooow I’m about TO! P.S.- the Casey Anthony trial sickens me but that’s just how it is.. *sigh*
