HAPPY NEW YEAR’S EVE! I think I’ve done really well with blogging for this month, even though I didn’t make it every day but my life’s not that eventful anyway lol. You know- this has been the best year I’ve had probably since 2009, I would say.
2016 highlights and etc:
– Got my driver’s license
– Then just became more confident with driving as the year went on and I am super proud of myself for that!!!
– SURPRISE! July 3rd I found out I was pregnant
– July 9th Katie was baptized
– Katie started 3rd grade in August
– So thankful with how this pregnancy has been.. healthy baby, no gestational diabetes
– Was able to go DOWN on my daily dosage of thyroid meds! This is HUGE for me and shows how much my health has improved
– Got to spend Thanksgiving with Brad’s family
– Christmas with my side of the family, even though Mom didn’t feel well
– Thankful that Mom is still here and praying she is here to be around little Benjamin
– Thankful Brad still has a really great job
– Thankful me, hubby, Katie, and Ben are healthy
– Praying that our little man stays put as long as possible in my belly
– Was able to make some extra money for us, which is awesome

What do I wish for 2017? That I can be the best ever for my family and take on the ride of a newborn/baby in the smoothest way possible. Hoping that I can find a job that I can work a few hours at night later in the year so Brad can watch little Ben and Katie. Just going to look for the positives in life and be thankful for everything Heavenly Father has given me! Cheers to 2017 – sending out good vibes to you too!

Happy New Year’s EVE-EVE!

I didn’t really have much to post on yesterday, except that I went to the Doc for my weekly preterm labor shot and luckily this time my injection site didn’t swell up like last week on my left side.

Today has been good- got to sleep in since Brad was off work and we went out for earlier grocery shopping. I bought a new pair of super super soft leggings for my church outfits, Brad bought 2 snazzy new dress shirts for work, and then I got some delicious food off the hot bar at Whole Foods- which I am currently eating right now for dinner!!! YUMMO.

Have a special event on my game in an hour that I’m excited about!

Woops- time slipped away yesterday and I didn’t get a blog up but wasn’t that eventful but overall good Tuesday.

Today I accomplished:
– Great nap earlier today
– Washing my hair
– Let Katie take out the trash and dust off our exercise equipment
– Cleaned/organized the front closet
– Got Ben’s little corner vacuumed and put his cart of stuff and car seat side by side
– 2 loads of laundry and folded/put away one
– Dusted a few things in the living room
– Dusted our very much needed dresser in the bedroom and re-organized
– The Sister Missionaries came by and I talked to them at the door for a bit! I plan on going out with them to visit people soon- which is always a fun time for me. =)

Oh, and Katie helped take off our red ornaments off the tree yesterday and then Brad took down the Christmas tree yesterday evening, while I went to get leftover turkey/ham/dressing from my Aunt then went and sat and talked with my Mom for about an hour. I wanted the tree down so I could get Ben’s little area situated (basically part of our dining room).

This Monday meant I am 31 weeks pregnant with little Benjamin!!! Well, currently 31w2d. Stay put my bitty man… Katie was born at 32.5w but nope nope I pray he keeps baking away <3 I made Brad stop by Wal-Mart and pick up my favorite pizza lol so that is currently almost done cooking then I’m gonna eat and probably watch some vlogs before playing my gameeeeee! Have a great evening.

It has felt nice outside all day but gloomy and was raining when I got up this morning. I woke up at 7AM, went to the bathroom, came back, and Brad came to bed a little after that and I was going to get up at 7:30AM but decided to sleep a little more… I woke up at 8:45AM lol. After breakfast then a bit later I took an hour nap.

Brad slept off/on a long time and Katie was enjoying all her new Christmas stuff, even though she was put on the naughty list so she has to earn the rest of the presents we bought her. Katie and I had our afternoon snacks then Brad eventually got up, showered, and then we headed off to Goodwill and Wal-Mart. We found an awesome stroller that was in excellent condition so we snagged it! I bought a little 3 drawer rolling cart at Wal-Mart to put some of Benjamin’s stuff in… since I have been really, really wanting to be able to do that, instead of just having his stuff in bags in our closet. Picked up some groceries that we needed and headed home for dinner.

After dinner I put Benjamin’s clothes and other stuff into the little cart… I LOVE IT. So lots of walking today but I feel good!!! Finished washing dishes and sat down with my ice cream! Only thing about walking a lot is that when Ben gets all curled up way up high then I waddle even more haha.

Off to play LOTRO!

Just wanted to make a quick post to say … Merry Christmas!

We went to eat over at Mom’s house but she hasn’t been feeling well at all.. =(

We came home this afternoon and have just been relaxing and I took a short nap.

That’s a wrap! 2016 will be over quickly.

Merry Christmas Eve!!!! It was a warm one here in Georgia! I actually went outside this afternoon to talk to my Mom on the phone and walk a little. We’ve had a chill day. Brad slept most of the morning and into the afternoon and he’s been playing the new Tomb Raider for PC. I’ll have to try it out since Tomb Raider is one of my favorites. Earlier today little Ben had the hiccups!!! <3 I swept off the porch and had my favoriteeeee pizza for dinner! We’re going to my Moms tomorrow for Christmas lunch and to hang out for a bit. Not sure If Santa will make it to see Katie tonight with the way she’s been lately. Trying to catch up on the vlogs that I watch on YouTube and got a few more to go but think I’m gonna play LOTRO mostly tonight! Wishing everyone the best Christmas Eve <3

I don’t really feel like typing out a longer blog so, in short, I have been super busy since yesterday with the baby checkup. Got to see Dr. Lee and he’s great! Belly is measuring 31cm and I was 30w3d so that’s awesome. Ben’s HB was 148bpm and I found out we will get a free electric breast pump with our insurance… YES!!!!! I got my weekly preterm labor shot and then was on my way! Brad came and picked me up at my Moms when he got off of work and we went to get more Christmas shopping done, ate dinner at Whole Foods, and then went to pick up a few groceries at Wal-Mart.

Today! Usual breakfast-nap-lunch then went ahead and ate my snack before my Aunt’s friend came to pick me up to do my own Christmas shopping! I’m so, so, thankful because I was able to get Benjamin’s carseat, portable swing, and even got 2 footie suits! That really made my Christmas! Now all we need is his little portable crib or maybe a little bassinet. We’ll buy him a full size crib when we get a bigger place hopefully sometime earlier next year before our lease is up here. Came back home, ate dinner, and found out Katie lied straight to Brad’s face 2 times and was sneaking where she wasn’t supposed to be. Oh no no. She’s in big trouble. Oh, kids. We loaded up a bit later to get the rest of our food groceries then Katie went straight to bed when we got home.

I just had some ice cream and want to sit and relax. Merry Christmas EVE EVE! <3

Woops, I said yesterday was the first day of winter but that’s today!

Brad was snoring SO-LOUDLY last night and I woke up with serious painful nerve pain too. Ouch..

I took an excellent nap before lunch = bliss! Talked to Mom on the phone for a bit before I went to get Katie off the bus. Today was her last day of school for 2016!!! She was good for her 3 days of school this week so I let her watch the new Angry Birds movie and she loved it. I played my game and then got dinner ready, folded laundry, and then Brad came home and cleaned Echo’s cage. We bought her a new corner litter pan to try and train her to go potty in it… so far it’s a fail haha.

Now to keep Katie entertained for the next 2 weeks… oh boy. So, my Aunt’s friend that I’ve been doing expense reports for and the same people that let me take over calls/appointments for 2 weeks for their company want to take me and my Aunt Christmas shopping. Do you know what that means?!!! I get to buy Benjamin’s things! EEEEEEEEE. Super excited and would mean everything to me!

Tomorrow is my usual every 2 week OB baby checkup and my weekly preterm labor shot. Off to finish this ice cream and play my game some more now that Katie is in bed!

I have been busy today! Just been wanting to organize and clean… guess nesting is kicking in! Need to make sure to rest up plenty too tho.

TODAY I – Went through Katie’s dresser and closet for clothes that are too small that we’ll donate, did the same with my dresser/closet, organized our walk-in closet a bit, then same for our smaller closet that we use for both blankets and books, and also got our collection of red ornaments up on our tree! We haven’t decorated it this year.. just ran out of time. We just have the pre-lit lights and the 2 ornaments Katie made at church and school. Also put some garland on top of our TV like I usually do every year. So now we have almost 3 trash bags full of clothes/things to donate. I feel very accomplished! After Katie got home from school I baked some gluten-free blueberry muffins… YUM. They were a bit crumbly but delish. When I was getting dinner ready I also folded a load of laundry and started another and dusted off our bookshelf in the dining room while my spaghetti was heating up.

Oh! And took all our Christmas wrapping/stuff for gifts and put it over on the floor beside my bed and I plan on starting to wrap presents tomorrow! Still not completely done with shopping but almost. Little Ben sure has been high up today.. when I woke up from my nap and went to sit up it hurt a little because he was pushed up against the top of my uterus… agh! Again, I just loove love love feeling his kicks and pokes- just not the ones that hurt haha. Even so, it’s so amazing that a little baby is right there! <3 As soon as we take down our Christmas tree I’m gonna start looking for little storage stuff to put his clothes/accessories in. I’m so eager to get his stuff out of bags in the closet and put somewhere! Tomorrow I will try to take more of a rest day since I have been walking/doing so much since Sunday but! Will try to get some present wrapping done as I said! =) I am so very thankful, grateful, and blessed! Feeling happy <3 and I hope you are too so I’m sending out positive vibes! Happy first day of winter too! (Even though It’s my LEAST favorite season..)

Today I am 30 weeks pregnant! Had Katie at 32.5 weeks but little Mr. is hopefully gonna stay put.

Again, forgot the blog yesterday. Church was excellent! Very uplifting talks the first hour then got to sit with Brad for Sunday school and feel baby Ben moving and kicking around. The women’s meeting was awesome and I got to talk to my friend Susan and she is amazing. I’ve inspired her with my weight loss story and she’s trying to lose so I’m gonna help her in any way I can. Later, after we got back home and had snacks- Mom said she would watch Katie while we picked up some Christmas gifts. We went to this discount store and walked for a looong time. They do have awesome prices in there. It was past dinner time so went to Wal-Mart for pizza, ice cream, and a couple other little things. I was so ready for sleep last night and was so worn out that I didn’t wake up once at night!!! LOL. Except I did wake up a few minutes before Brad’s alarm to wake me up.

I took a long nap today, ate lunch, watched vlogs, took out the trash, and got a few other things done before it was time for Katie to come home. Katie’s class Christmas party was today and she said she had a lot of fun. They had different “winter stations” to do activities. She got to bring home 2 free sweaters (white and black), a giant sketch pad, new pack of colored pencils and crayons, stocking with random things- including a slinky that we’re saving for Christmas, and so I’m glad it was a fun day for her. This evening after dinner I went out and my Aunt came with me to get more shopping done. Got Katie a few shirts, thermal comfy pants, books- at a discount place and then went to Target where I found the CUTEST penguin footie soft long sleeved onesie for baby Ben that was on clearance… I had to buy it! Got some stickers for Katie, mini Christmas bags, Christmas tissue paper, and my Aunt got a few things. Last stop was to another discount place so my Aunt could pick up a present that will be from my Mom to Katie- It’s a Monster High activity book with all kinds of things in it.

Still need to buy a good bit more but I was so ready to come home, eat ice cream, and sit! I’ll hopefully sleep real good again tonight. Time for a warm bath and getting ready for bed. Have a great one!
