So.. little late with the Friday Five but a Tuesday Five is just as well!

01) What’s your favorite child hood memory?: Hanging out down by the creek. Barefooted almost 24/7, cept when I went to school.

03) Who did you look up to when you were a kid?: My cousin who is like my brother.
04) What was a really gross habit you had as a very young child that your parents later reminded you about?: I really don’t know..
05) What’s your favorite Disney movie as a kid and that you can still watch to this day?: Oh man. SO MANY. When I was little my Mom would buy just about every Disney movie that would come out. She still has them all. Favorite of all time had to be The Lion King! I had the Sega video game, tshirts, watch, stuffed animals, the soundtrack on tape that I used to sing to on my little tape player + microphone haha.

Brad is at the laundrymat doing laundry. Can’t wait for him to get hooome! My little chin is doing good. At the moment, pretty much ALL the animals are asleep, lol. It’s cuteness. Brad and I have been watching Buffy Season 3 on DVD for the last few days, probably gonna watch more tonight! Heh, Brad’s gotten pretty into watching – which I think is great!!! Well, we may not tonight coz we’re gonna go to his Grandmas house to watch BONES !!!
Yesterday evening, Brad drove to Red Bay and we looked at the apartment place that his Mom told us about. Eh… It looks kindof blah. The apartments look small on the outside too. They may be bigger than they look but I dunno. UGHH. I wish we could find a place and move out NOW.
Brad got his taxes.. now he just has to get those done and then we can get our money back, yay! Need to put back and save, save.
I would reallllllllly love to get a new puter for myself (with a flat screen!!!) and Brad to get a laptop. This computer is mine and I hog it well, lol. Well, I’ll go find somethin to eat since I only ate a little for lunch. Later lovies!

edit@ 9:22pm OMFG! LMFAO! The FUNNIEST thing just happened. Me and Brad were in the bedroom and I was sayin goodnight to him and all. We were jokin around, laughin. It got quiet for a sec then.. I let out some gas and Brad looked around worried and points towards the front of the house and says, “Someone’s knockin!” I then make an eye motion at myself and he goes “Oh, EW, it was your ASS!” OMG, LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I haven’t laughed so hard in a LONG, LONG time. STREAMS of tears were coming down my face I was laughin so hard! And now I have a tiny headache because of so much laughing, lol!!!! Oh boy, that was great. I can’t stop smiling/laughing now.

Okay. To “meg” – who commented on my last entry. The only thing I did to my cam pic of me is use brightness because It was darker and blurred it. Don’t like it? Then don’t look! Plain and simple!

Yay! Saturday, Brad and his Uncle Richard fixed the leak! His Dad COULD have done it early last week but PFFT. Yeaaaaah right. So, that’s said and done. Our water bill for Feb will still probably be kindof high. Speaking of fixing leaks and pipes, since Brad kindof knows how to fix pipes now, he’s gonna try to fix the kitchen pipes! I’ll be so glad when it does get fixed so I can finally USE the kitchen sink to wash the dishes!!! I’ll be so grateful, lol.
Yesterday we went to Brads Grandmas house for his Stepmoms baby girls birthday party since she turns 1 Wednesday! It was pretty cool. Got to eat some cheese puffs then ate some yummy birthday cake (that Brads Aunt Mary made) with chocolate ice cream! Hung out and talked and whatnot.
Know what sucks? We’ve been getting more medicial bills in from the time Brad had to go to the ER and come to find out it was only indigestion. Well, what really sucks is, the night he went into the ER, his insurance wasn’t active yet (it was 2 days later) sooo they probably won’t cover/pay for it. *SIGH* It’s really expensive bills and he didn’t even stay overnight! Baaah.

Brad and I will probably check out an apartment-duplex place sometime this week and see what that’s all about. We really can’t wait to move out of this trailor! We just have to find a place where we can still have our animals.
My baby chin is doing good! He’s such a cutie! I’ve got 2/4 of my female cockatiels and 1/2 of my male cockatiels named. So just need 3 more names for them and of course, still have to come up with a name for my chin. I’ve been looking on a message board about chinchillas and trying to look through names other people have named their chins. Nothin yet but I’m desperate for a name!
Kay, gonna go watch Days and probably snack on somethin.

OMG, YES!!!
Brad came home today and we tried to calculate money and get bills and things situated. I thought Meg and Gat were gonna come along but apparently something came up? Have no idea. So! Brad and I got everything together then left for Tupelo!
Hubby was pretty worn out from work so he was kindof ugh-ish. We got to Petsmart and looked around for a long while. Altogether.. chin + dust bath + water bottle + food = EXPENSIVE. We thought about it long and hard. Attempted to try to figure out how much we would have left for food/gas/laundry after this big purchase.
We asked someone to come let us look at the chin. They had 2 chins Tuesday and only had 1 now. It was SO TINY!!!!! Smaller than our last chin, Max! I was like OMG SO CUTE!!!! I wanted it sooo badly! The girl let us hold him and SQUEE!!!! He had poo on his feet though so I got it on my hands, ewie! Talked to the girl about animals a bit then kept lookin at hubby, lol. He FINALLY SAID WE COULD GET HIM, YES!!!! So got all the paper work, yaddda yadda! Went to get all the other things little guy needed then checked out. Sheew. Big chunk of money right there, hah. I kept almost freaking out because I know this is a big purchase and how I was afraid Brad was kindof mad at me for wanting it but he wasn’t. He looks just LIKE A LITTLE SQUIRREL!!!!!! I bet he’s only about a month? or so?

 

Stopped by Wally World on the way home and left the chin in the Petsmart box with the truck windows cracked. Thought about bringing him in but nah. We couldn’t spend much on groceries since we used a lot on the babbbbby chin + bills. We went cheap with food this time, haha. But we do have enough to eat for this week so it’s all good. Got home, put away groceries and began to set up his cage. Gave him a niiiiiiice dust bath and OMFG! I forgot how cute and amusing they are to watch while they take their dust baths!!! AWWWWW.
I MUST GIVE him a NAME ASAP!!! That’s what I’m bout to do is look through a list of names I printed off a long while back and attempt to pick out a name for the little bugger
I’m sooo happy!
Kindof sleepy.. got up at 10AM, which is early for me! Anyhow, gonna go now. Later!

Whee!
Man, I hit my toe on the wall not too long ago and it hurt! My tooth is also bothering me.. one of my teeth on the left upperside of my mouth. It has a filling in it but I think it’s almost all fallen out so It’s real sensative when I eat something.. sucks.

As far as my animals – Trev, our iguana is such an interesting guy. EVERY day I get up, turn on his lights. He goes under the heat light and sits and basks for a while, looking around. I then go fix his food on his food tray. Which consists of collard greens and.. some other new green food we bought him. I tear it up into a nice pile then once I go and lower it into his cage, he flippin FREAAAKS out for it. Like lunges at it and when he does get to the food, just tears it up, lol. So, about this time, it’s about time for my show Days of Our Lives to come on. I watch that and then after it goes off, I take Trev and put him in the bathtub for a nice hot bath! (yes, they take baths) I let him swim around, which, is quite amusing except when he goes lightning fast at the side of the tub and attempts to get out – which he has ALMOST mastered! I’ve got him potty trained now too! He used to poop in his tank but now I’ve got him to where everyday when I put him in the tub he’ll poo in there, rofl. Which, is kindof gross but hey! It’s better than stinking up his tank! Then when he’s done, I take him out, dry him off then put him back to bask under his heat light. Course I then wash out the tub EXTRA GOOD and wash away the iguana poo. Hah.
My little male birdie is so very amusing! I laugh at him quite a lot! He’ll start to whistle and then I’ll whistle and he’ll whistle with me and I just get a kick out of it and have to laugh. I love him to pieces. It’s so very amusing to see him sitting on his food cup, whistling and bobbing his head while he’s eating. So cuuuuuute!!!
‘Nother thing! My gerbil Bruno is a meanie!!! I went to move his cage this morning and he came up and BIT ME on the finger! It hurt really bad, made it bleed under the nail. It still hurts right now. Blasted gerbil!!! He’s not very friendly. Humpf.
And Abby. Well, she’s gotten better about using the bathroom OUTSIDE instead of INSIDE. That’s good. She does this AMUSING, FUNNY AS HELL thing with the flashlight. When you turn on the light, she’ll chase it around and bark at it, ROFL. Brad’s cousin suggested sending it in to Funniest Home Videos because I’m sure anyone would find a dog going HYSTERICAL over just a light from a flashlight very, very funny! lol. :squee:

Alright, so depending on how much money Brad brings home tomorrow – we probably and just might be getting a CHINCHILLA!!!!! He called Petsmart today to see if they had any and they said they just got 2 in Tuesday! Their $119, which is good compared to the ones at Florence’s Petco, which were $130-$140. If we are able to get it, I’M GONNA BE SO HAPPY! OMG. I miss my Max (chinchilla I had in Nebraska that died on us, it was our fault he died though coz we left him in a cold, damp room) so much! He was a good chinchilla. I know every chinchilla can be different, I just hope this new chinchilla is an okay tempermented chin too. I’m gonna take EXTRA precautions to make sure this one LIVES too! I can’t wait to feel their soft coats again. SQUEE!!!! Tomorrow we plan to go to Tupelo to go to Petsmart and then Wal-Mart eventually. We may go to Wal-Mart first before we go look at pets unless we decide to take the chinchilla-in-a-box into Wal-Mart, lol. I don’t know though, I’m not gonna get my hopes up. Just depends on the money, money, money! We’ve already got it figured out that we’ll use one of the big birdcages as the chins home and set it all up and maybe put a piece of wood for the chin to sit on, hop around on. Aww, I miss having a chin. I love their big ears, soft soft SOFT coats, the fact they don’t have sharp-feeling claws and their squirrel like tails!!! And that their like little kangaroos! :glee:
Welp, I suppose that’s all for now. Gonna go and probably eat my ring of SHRIMP here soon!

NEW LAYOUT!!!

Yesss. Finally! A new layout! Was getting way, way tired of looking at all that green. It’s nice to have something new up.
*sigh* Well, Brad is having another one of his fits. He came home and asked if I wanted to go to Hamiliton to Client Logic to get applications and ask questions and then I told him I thought we were gonna do laundry this evening and then decided we’d do it tomorrow but then I was silent and he said, “nevermind, forget it.” He got up and went in the kitchen and knocked over his lunch mini cooler then went to the bedroom and lo and behold, it was just like the last time. He’s still back there. Suppose he’ll stay back there all night? I bet so. *SIIIIIGH* I didn’t give him a yes or no answer, sheesh. I don’t know what to do. I know he doesn’t like where he’s working now but GAH, he doesn’t have to keep doing this to me!!!! Always having a fit and then going into the bedroom for the whole afternoon and night. Sometimes I’m not very sympathetic, which is why I haven’t went back there to talk to him and then at other times, like now – I feel like I should.
This is so messed up. Guess I’ll go back there and try to talk to him..

First off: HAPPY 2 YEARS, 6 MONTHS to me and the Bradley!
Wow! I had a very interesting and GREAT weekend!!!!
Ohhh and as far as Client Logic goes.. I doubt it. Brad got to thinking about it and noticed they have weird hours. And he really doesn’t want to work somewhere where the hours are here and there and you don’t know your exact hours because they change. But that’s okay.
Started off Friday afternoon when Brad and I were trying to decide what we wanted to do that evening. He called Gatlin to see what he was doing and come to find out Megan and Gat’s friend Michael were over at his house hanging out so we decide to go hang out too. Once we did get there though, Michael was just leaving! We go inside and hang out then Gat needs to go to a friend of his so we all load up and go to his house for just a wee bit. We then leave and try to decide where we want to eat. Brad loudly suggested RED LOBSTER! Hah. At first, we thought we weren’t gonna eat there but we did end up leaving for Tupelo to eat there.
I believe that was the first time i’ve eaten at Red Lobster. I got shrimp + baked potatoe and it was yummmy. We all had a jolly time and laughed muchly. After we got done eating, we headed over to Books-a-Million before they closed and I bought a book, Iguanas for DUMMIES. A big book alllllll about Iguanas!!! Brad got a dream dictionary book and an astrology one as well. Megan bought 2 books and I got my favorite, a mocha frapp!!!!! After that, we headed back to Gat’s where Brad and I said our goodbyes then headed on home and Brad dozed off to sleep once.. again. *SIGH* I get so scared when we drive home late. We made it safely back home though, haha. We looked at our books for a bit then headed on to bed.
Saturday! Brad called James to see what was up. James wanted me and Brad to go hang out in Florence with him and his g/f so we said sure! James had the idea that we would meet them somewhere and Brad would leave his truck and we’d go in James’ g/f’s car. Brad was kindof skeptical about that at first but eventually said okay. Got ready and left about.. uh 5-5:30ish and got up to the place and we waited for them then Brad pulled his truck up into a church parking lot and that’s where we left it.
Went with them and went to Florence! Had no idea what we were gonna do but James came up with the idea that we’ll go out to eat, go places then go watch a movie! Sounded good to me. We were trying to figure out where to eat.. so many choices!!! That place has just about every restaurant. We tried Chili’s but they were PACCCCCCKED. After a little waiting and then no more waiting, we left and went to PETCO !! To see the animaaalllllls. I love PetCo more than I do PetSmart. Had to look at all zee animals, course. They had a whole cage FULL of ferrets!!! Most of them were WHITE! They were soooo energetic. Bouncin around, being crazy! Heh, they were cute. Course there were guinea pigs, hamsters, dwarf hamsters, rats, mice, gerbils, ferrets BUT THEN, WAIT.. they had TWO CHINCHILLAS!!!! I about DIED. OMG. THEY WERE SOOOOOO CUTE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They were both sleeping when we came in. AWWE!!!! Went and looked at the birdies. $140 for a COCKATIEL! I was like DUBBYA TEE EF?! That was insane. Looked at the reptiles as well.. found a really cute little house gecko that I wanted! He looked at meee. Brad and I went to see the fish section. Went to the tank of TURTLES! Hehee, their cute when they poke their head out from the top of the water. I saw some really CUUUUUTE FAT goldfish that I wanted. Looked alll around then wound up back at the chinchilla cage/tank. They were finally awake when we got ready to leave and leaping around.
After we left there, I got to thinking about our baby chinchilla, Max – that died. Poor little guy… I miss him so much. Chinchillas are SUCH GOOD PETS!!! I tell yooooou. They require VERY LITTLE CARE and are SO SOFT and can be very cuddly!!!
And guess what? *grins* I’ve convinced Brad to see about GETTING ONE THIS COMING WEEKEND!!! SQUEE!! OMG, he spoils me so. I love it though! That is, if we have enough money. We’ll just have to see considering we got our water bill Saturday and OMG, it was HIGH. We have a leak or SOMETHING coz shiiiiiiiit, I know we didn’t use THAT MUCH WATER.
So. I’m gonna research lots and lots on chinchillas this week and get his/her cage alllllll ready! ..Hopefully they won’t have sold both of them when I come up there this next weekend. That would be bad.
Anyhow, after PetCo, we decided to finally go to O’Charleys to eat! I got a shrimp dinner that came with rice and I got french fries with it. Had a salad beforehand. They gave us free rolls and they were delicious! Brad got a steak and fries. James and his g/f both got salad stuff to eat. My shrimp were GREAT.. except, EXCEPT they were EXTEREMLY SPICY/HOT. Oh my FLIPPING GOSH I haven’t had something that spicy and hot in a DAMN long time. My mouth was OOOONN FIRE!!!! Hahah. It was good though. Brad then a bit later wanted to try one and I told him no. That he would die, rofl. He wanted to try a nibble anyhow. He did and OMFG-LMFAO!!!!!!!!!!!! He only tried a little and his mouth was burning, *LAUGH* It was HILARIOUS. James had went to the bathroom and when he came back, Brad’s eyes were teary and he looked at me + the shrimp then Brad and BUSTED out laughing. LOL. Oh man. For dessert, James and his g/f had chocolate cake and Brad and I had a strawberry cheesecake, which was yummy. After getting our bellys filled – or in mine and Brad’s case – belly TORCHED. lol. We left to go to the movie theatre. It was already after 10:30pm when we got there so we decided to watch the lllaaate show. It wasn’t showing until midnight soo James went and checked with tickets then we went to Books-A-Million until 11PM then Wally World! Left there at like 11:30 almost and got to the theatre a bit before midnight.
We watched Underworld: Evolution and YES, it was good, good, good GOOD!
It was 2AM when the movie ended and so began the drive back! Didn’t get back to Brad’s truck until about 3:30AM and we were listening to the classic rock channel and a GOOD SONG came on but GAH for the life of me I CANNOT REMEMBER all the lyrics and it’s buggin the hell outta me. It was a few minutes after 4AM when we pulled up into our driveway. Rofl.
I had an EXCELLENT weekend though!!! I mean, I’ve never went to 2 pretty fancy restaurants + a movie and books a million (twice) all in ONE WEEKEND. So hells yeah, it was a rockin weekend!!!
Today Brad and I just slept in late then went to Wal Mart and bought groceries and! on the way, I heard a new song that I liked and come to find it was by Cold! Their song, a different kind of pain! I’ve got it downloading right now. Rock on. Tonight I made a soup that Mom taught me how to make and it was pretty good! My stomach still hurts every now and then from the deadly spicy shrimp, lol. I ate 8 of them!
Alright, well I’m gonna go for now, it’s stormy here! OH and I still have yet to come up with a new layout but I shall! Later!

05) What is your favorite gesture for the opposite sex to make towards you?: Opening doors, any friendly gesture such as that.

Helllllo everyone! So it seemed today Brad had a plan that he announced to me this evening. He’s getting really tired of his job at Tiffin’s. He says that it’s getting very tedious? umm.. repetative. Plus he says they talk to him like he’s a POS and there’s no one in his age range that works up there so he got pretty upset this evening over that.
His idea? Well, was to see about switching jobs to the place where most of his friends work, which is a place called Client Logic. Basically it’s a call-in tech place for computers and stuff. Brad had the idea that we could both work there and together we’d make about $14 an hour. Sounds like an interesting deal.. few pros and cons for me though. First, the PROS. I CAN KEEP MY PIERCINGS!!! Rock on. Plus, working there you can pretty much wear everyday clothes. Another extra plus. Brad and I would be working at the same place, probably same hours. Roughly I think.. It’ll be like from 8AM-4PM, which, ain’t too bad. The place isn’t too far away, which is good.
Now.. the dreaded CONS. I have never been good at talking on the phone. Just isn’t something I would really like to do all the time. A little bright side to it though, maybe this job would help me with that. Course with any job there’s always the con part where the days fly by and you always have this, this, this and this to do and by the time you turn around it’s bed time and then it starts all over again. Nother kindof bad thing would be.. I would sit on my butt all day long at this job. I know I do that now but it wouldn’t help my weight any. Again, there’s a little brighter side – Brad and I could go to the gym a few days a week to help keep in shape and have a job that lets you sit all the time, hah.
When I first got to thinking about careers.. well, I like animals AND computers BUT with computers, you sit a lot and I’d like a job that keeps me moving and stuff but I figure course I can still go for that animal career job but gotta make with the money and education first. Client Logic has an insurance plan, where it will cover/pay for us to go for doc’s appointments and all, which is good. They also will pay to let you go to college for working there! An extra plus.

I dunno, guess I’m just a bit skeptical about it. Seeing as if I do go for this job – it’ll be my very first REAL job and another plus, I’LL HAVE MY OWN MONEY and that’s something i will be damn happy about. I AM ready to get a job and get out there but it’s just a little scary. Kindof like a hermit crab coming out it’s shell into a new one, hah. With money, we’ll have a good amount with both of us working and I know me myself, am going to start saving money to just put away. I doubt Brad would do that on his own. Sure, maybe If I TOLD him to put money away to save then he would but otherwise, he blows it. Again, If I do go for this.. I hope I like it. If not.. then I’m gonna be in a bit of a predicament. Figure, we’ll split the money for bills and groceries, then the rest is ours.
Anyhow, Brad plans on taking us out there tomorrow to fill out applications. One of Brad’s friends who works there, Matt, says that he’s pretty sure their hiring ATM. I’m way nervous but ah well. Once we puts in an application at Client Logic, Brad’s gonna put in a 2 week notice at Tiffins and work that time out then switch to Client Logic. I’m not quite sure how to process it all at the moment. Hm.

On another subject: Abby’s pooping and peeing in the kitchen again, everyday. *SIGH* I had JUST cleaned up some pee/poop in the kitchen this morning and not 10 minutes later, she pooped in the corner. I was so FLIPPING mad so I put her in her cage. She’s been in there ever since. I let her out to eat and go outside but that’s about it. I’m SICK of it. And once we both start working, I don’t know what we’re gonna do. Nobody’s gonna be home to let her outside so we may just have to get rid of her. Hate to say it but it’s probably gonna happen.
Well, Brad and I watched more of the Buffy: Season 2 DVD set!!! Getting towards the end where it gets very dark and very, very sad. Excited to watch the rest and then get to Season 3! Watching these episodes again made me remember how they made me feel the first time I watched them – brought about a lot of emotions. Gah, I remember at the end of Season 2, I BAWLED my eyes out the first.. 10 times i saw it, hah. When I first started watching Buffy, I just totally FELL IN LOVE with Buffy and Angel as a couple.. and I wanted to have that kindof love. Minus the fact that she was a vampire slayer and he was a vampire and the whole tragedy, they-don’t-end-up-together thing. Hah. (which, btw, i HATED that they didn’t end up together.. course)
And yenno what?

..I think I’ve found a love kindof like theirs.
Teehee. Well, I’m bout to go find something to snack on and see what I can do with my site. Still trying to come up with a new layout idea. (and it will deal with buffy and angel!)

He makes the house stink of dog because he has more hair and is a liiiitttttle bit bigger than Abby. Abby doesn’t make the house smell like dog. Plus the day I did have the little doggie inside, I did see him attempt to jump up on Abby and get with the humping haha so no.. plus when I would let him outside he’d run off so oh well. When I’d call him, he won’t come and when he does make it to the porch and the door, he won’t come in. He’s outside right now, somewhere. We plan to take him to the humaine society because we don’t really need another doggie.
Oh man, James just called Brad on his cellphone from about 45 min away from here and said it was SNOWING LIKE CRAZY! It’s not snowing here now, it’s raining but wow, if we do get snow, I’m gonna be hellllla surprised. It’s rare to get snow here.
But I do know one thing, it is FREEEEEEZING tonight!!! Good thing we did get the gas this evening!

One last thing: I’m keeping my fingers crossed that my Buffy: Season 2 DVD set just miiiiight come tomorrow. Oh, I hope, I hope!!!! :woohoo:
