Annnd I’m back !!!

As I stated in the previous entry, we did go to the beach again Sunday. It was fun, once again. Brad’s cousin James eventually joined us but his girlfriend didn’t want to come. Oh well! We swam and had a great time. Eventually, we got out to go eat and then James was gonna be on his way. We finished eating and James went to get his stuff and couldn’t find his keys (well, he was driving his girlfriends car so technically, they were her keys) and he had left them on top of his shirt on the bench by our stuff. He and Brad looked and looked and looked and still nothing. :pissed: Luckily, James had a spare key so eventually, he just left. Never did find the keys though.

I wanted to lay out on the beach again so I did that for almost an hour. We didn’t stay as long as we did Saturday. I guess we left after 5PM to come back home. James had planned to come over with his girlfriend Sunday evening and have a little cook out but It got too late so they said they’d see about doing that Memorial Day.

Oh boy. I woke up Monday morning and freaked out!!! My eyes and cheeks (the part right under my eyes) were SWOLLEN really, really badly. I tried to hide my face coz I didn’t even want Brad to see it! :upset: I eventually got some ice bundled up in a rag and put it on my face. It seemed to help a little. We had to go grocery shopping so I just sat in front of the air conditioner with a cold rag. I went and got dressed and found my sunglasses and put those on to hide my eyes. Got our grocery list ready to go and Brad and I were off to Wal-Mart. I even wore the sunglasses while we were in the store, hah. Got done shopping there and headed back home. Around 7:30PM, James and his girlfriend came over and we had our little cook out! James girlfriend and he are more vegetarians so they had veggie hot dogs, grilled pineapple and some chips. Brad and I had some yummy grilled hamburgers and hotdogs along with some pringles! Hell yes!!! I also ate some yummy cucumbers. Mmmm. They left after 9:30PM and not soon after that, Brad went onto bed. Oh, I also had my sunglasses on when James and his girlfriend came over and James called me a lobster! :blink: Hah. I stayed up and cleaned the animal cages and the living room then got online for a bit longer before going to bed.

Tuesday, I slept in late and It was soooo nice. Got up and took care of the animals then got online until Bradleeey got home!!! :love: When I woke up yesterday, my eyes weren’t as swollen but still a little so I put back on my sunglasses when Brad came home since I still didn’t want him to see me like that… I did the dishes, gave our Daxie poo a bath and did a few other things. Later on, I applied some face scrub neutrogena wash on my face and got in front of the air conditioner for a minute then washed it off and my swelling went down! Only thing now is, my face is really peeling like crazy but I guess that’s good. Attttttleast my eyes aren’t all puffy and swollen anymore. That was AWFUL! :yell: My bottom lip is beyond chapped. It’s all cracked and even bled a little earlier this evening. It’s getting better now and I hope It clears up real soon. I still had a hella good time swimming though!

Ohhh, earlier this evening, Brad and I ate leftover grilled hamburger and hotdogs for supper then watched Last Comic Standing on NBC!!! :grinny: It was pretty interesting. I’m not sure what we’re gonna do this weekend, really depends on money. Brad’s insurance went up over $60 because of his wreck. We really, really, really, really, really, really need to get Dax some flea medication so that he’ll stop scratching himself so much and I believe It’ll help his fur, too.

Just thought I’d share my sunburnt story, hah. I’m gonna check out some more sites then venture onto bed soonish. Thank you all so much for the comments on the previous entry!!!! I love getting comments! K. I’m gone! :D 

I’m so glad it’s the weekend! This last week I cleaned Brads Grandma’s house both Monday and Wednesday. She payed me so I got some money!!! :grinny: Of course.. American Idol came to an end and I’m so glad that Taylor won!!!! I was really hoping that Katherine wouldn’t.

Brad and I were attempting to decide what we wanted to do this weekend (Memorial Day weekend) and we were either a) going to go with friends to see X-Men 3 or b) going to the beach (well, it’s not a REAL beach but it’s close enough) and as the weekend got closer, I decided I wanted to go to the beach more! Friday after Brad got off work, we went to Wal-Mart and picked up picnic items, beach towel, ear plugs, sun block and a few other things. After we left there, stopped by Hardee’s and got some din-din. Friday night I didn’t go to bed until almost 3AM and I wanted to get up at 9:30AM. Brad woke me up a little before 9:30AM and we layed in bed together until 10:30AM then got up and I took care of the animals and we both ate a biscuit for breakfast. Got everything together and after getting everything in the van, we were off!!! The beach isn’t far from where we live either, which, is awesome!!!

We had a BLAST! If you know me at all, you know that I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE :love: to swim! There’s nothing more I enjoy than being in the water. Swimming is so great. You get exercise and it’s time out in the sun! I can actually float on my back and not move my arms or legs/feet at all and my head and part of my feet sticking above the water! I also like to be out in the deep water and just use my feet to move only. Swimming is really and truly something I’m excellent at. I wouldn’t do it professionally though, hah.

Anyhow! Back to our time there… we arrived around 12:30pm. We swam for about 2 hours then got out and ate on a hill. Afterwards, I layed out on the beach towel while Brad sat on a bench. I guess I layed out for maybe an hour? Possibly. We got back in the water and swam, swam, swam! I would go to float on my back and Brad would drag me around by my feet and then tickle my feet, lol. :tongue: OH! And there were boats further down the river and they would send big waves our way and at one point, I was quite far out and Brad was back by the shore and when the waves came, I couldn’t see Brad then I’d see him and he was making this funny open-mouth “YAY” face (and this happened over and over) and I busted out laughing. It was hilarious! We finally got out a little after 5pm and I wanted to lay out some more so we layed out about 30 minutes more before we decided to go find a picnic table and eat again before leaving to go home. Oo, I really love the new sun block we bought! It’s the spray kind instead of lotion. SPF 30, too. Smells excellent!!! We ate more food then walked back to the van and we were homebound.

Shew. What I love about swimming is it gets you nice and tired, helps your skin feel tighter and for me, It just makes me feel really good! I feel more pumped after swimming. And I’m actually quite sore but that is such a goooood thing for me. I told Brad I’d LOVE to go quite often this summer and hopefully it’ll help me get back into a little bit better shape and help me obtain some kindof tan, maybe. Plus it’s just really lovely to get out!!!! As you can see from my cam picture, (which, I finally updated, rofl) my face got a bit burnt. My arms and shoulders are actually quite tan! (WOOT) My legs are semi-red semi-tan so that’s better than the pale white I was before I went today! And.. and! We’re going back (later) today!!! This time, Brad’s cousin James and his girlfriend Rebecca MIGHT be meeting us up there or we might go to another beach. I just can’t wait to go again! Doing things like this is what I’ve always wanted to do. To have a good man who will take me places and do fun things and here I am! :love: Monday, Brad is off for Memorial Day and I don’t think we’re gonna do anything since we went to the beach all weekend and I also have some cleaning I realllllly need to do since I’ve been slacking off this last week.

As far as this site goes.. I’ve finally got my WordPress theme all tweaked and working! You can actually comment now!!! Finally figured out that my little comment form on the side was interferring with my WordPress comments so I got rid of it for now. My navigation in Mozilla actually looked weird after I fixed up else on the side so I went back and fixed that as well! Thank you all who commented on my last entry! I’ve got a looot to catch up on. I need to comment on Xposure sites, check up on DisasterMB and also switch my content pages to WordPress and a few other things here and there. Once again, I’ll try to do those things a bit at a time. I really appreciate the people who come here often and comment!

Okay, I am completely tired and worn out from today so I think I’m gonna check out a few more sites then head onto bed for another day at the beach!!!! :teeth: Hope everyone has an excellent (rest of) Memorial Day weekend and Memorial Day, too! That’s all for now, I’m ooout!!! :tongue:  

edit I’m working on tweaking my own wordpress theme that actually works, haha. finally found out from someone the comments weren’t working! sorry guys. Until I get my custom theme set up and working, I’ll just settle for this classic theme. and hey, you can actually comment with this theme! :dizzy:

Anyhow. Sorry I haven’t been updating. I’ve actually been keeping pretty busy come to think of it. I don’t know where to start, really. Abby’s puppies are all doing well except for the little runt. I think he’s hanging onto dear life.. the poor little guy. I don’t even know If he’ll make it through today or not. Makes me so sad. The other puppies are starting to wonder out of the dog house they are kept in and It’s so CUTE to see them come out and waddle around. Hehee. Yesterday was really awesome! Brad and I went to my best friend and her fiances wedding shower and had a really great time! We stayed from about noon until around 8:30PM. Really, really nice to talk to and be around more people! Yay for that much!!!

Brad’s Dad told him that we have to move out of this trailor by next March! Coz his Dad will have to clear off this land so Brad’s Aunt can move down and build her house on this land. Which means we’ll definetly have to start looking for a new place, which, I am COMPLETELY excited about! I’m sooo ready to move out of this trailor! All my other animals are doing gooood. I cleaned their cages late last night. Daxter, our Pomeranian, is still spunky as EVER and I’m still fighting to get him some-what potty trained. *sigh*

I really need to fix up and spice up my site. Make it more.. appealing or something. It’s just when I do get online – I visit my dailies, check my LJ then post on DisasterMB a little bit and by the time I’m done with all that, a lot of time has passed and we have to go somewhere or do something and I don’t get time to. I’ll try to do a little here and there. OH, Saturday, after Brad and I went grocery shopping, I got to drive part of the way home! I was really scared. I did it though! Then Saturday evening, we went to Brad’s Aunts house for her little girls 7th birthday party. It was pretty cool. Yenno, I’ll have a LOT more time to do things during the week now that all the shows have gone off for the summer. There was a show just about every day that we would watch. Monday – How I Met Your Mother. Tuesday – American Idol. Wednesday – American Idol, Bones. Thursday – Will & Grace, My Name Is Earl, ER. And that was it! Their ALL gone for the summer.. cept for Will & Grace and their gone forever. I’ll probably watch the last American Idol episode and that’ll be it.

I’m thinking I may transfer my content pages into WordPress pages but I’m not sure If I want to coz the about me and love content pages are REALLY long. Eh, I’ll see about it. Suppose I could transfer them into WordPress pages then just make that pop up, possibly. There are a lot of things I’d like to get done.

#1 – get Dax his flea medicine, #2 – go to the doctor, #3 – drive more and eventually get my drivers license, #4 – get a job and #5 – see about college! I’m really hoping to get those things done ASAP!

Well. It’s nearing 8AM and I gotta take care of the animals, get dressed, possibly eat a little somethin and then Brad’s Grandma is coming to pick me up and I’m gonna clean her house and she’s gonna pay me! Yaaaay money!!! :grinny:

Well, would you lookie here!!! I finally got WordPress installed and (somewhat) working! I still have quite a lot of things to do with it but hey, I can actually update now!!! :thumbsup: I’m still getting used to using it really but overall, it’s pretty nifty.

Hope everyone had a good Mother’s Day! Brad and I left Saturday evening to go to my Mom’s house. We stopped by Wally World and bought her 3 different colored roses and a card. Also, picked up The Notebook for ourselves!!! :love: LOVE that movie, BTW!! Aww. She was SO happy that we got to come over. See, our van had a broken water pump for over a week and we finally got that fixed and were able to go again. We got to Mom’s house and brought Dax along with us. We eventually took Mom out to eat at the Big China Buffet! Mom said she had been craving Chinese.. said she hasn’t had it in over 20 years!! :shocked: Boooy, It was sure yummy! We were all STUFFED by the time we left. Once back at Mom’s house we watched The Notebook and then one of Mom’s DVDs called An Unfinished Life and that was pretty good. We stayed the night there at Mom’s and Brad went to bed after 1AM, I think. Mom and I stayed up talking until around 6AM, lol. Finally layed down and to sleep :sleep: then Mom woke us up at 10AM. She cooked us a YUMMY lunch. Porkchops, beans, creamed potatoes, macaroni & cheese and cresent rolls. Mmm. It was delicious.

Onto American Idol…. BOO! I’m still very, very, VERY disappointed that Chris got voted off. I mean, wtf? Something had to go wrong! Just had to! That whole thing made me really not want to watch American Idol anymore. Ah well, screw you American Idol, Chris Daughtry WILL make it big and rock on! Hmpf.

I really can’t think of anything else to talk about at the moment, lol. I’m a bit sleepy considering I got up at 5AM and went to sleep at 2AM. :dizzy: Umm.. um, I’ve been drinking a lot of raspberry iced tea lately. It’s totally yummy. Brad got me hooked on it. My kidneys will give me mucho thanks for not killing them with so much soda. Alright, I’m gonna go take a nap and wrap up in my blankie on the couch since it’s kindof cold! Tell me what you guys think of WordPress! :grinny:

Know what annoys the HELL out of me?! When a few certain guys I know ALWAYS have to think their #1. That their ALWAYS better. The fact that they always have to comment on the things I eat, watch, buy and even my ANIMALS!!!! It just PISSES me off SO MUCH. I always just ignore their comments when I should stand up for myself and tell them to keep their damn comments to themselves, yenno???? BUT! If their gonna come in my house then If they don’t like what I watch, eat or the way my animals look or behave or how loud they are then I only have a few words for them.. GET THE HELL OUT! :pissed: This keeps happening over and over and seems like anytime they come around, they always have something negative to say about something concering me, what I like and my animals. I’m so sick of it. I don’t go to their houses and say things like that to them!!!!!! :yell: Thank GOOD. NESS. That Brad isn’t like that. I couldn’t put up with it. Just couldn’t. And more importantly, wouldn’t!
There. That’s my ranting for the week. Onto something a bit more upbeat.. American Idol!!! Again, Chris was purely amazing Tuesday night. His voice was straining with the 2nd song he performed but I thought It was still great. Paris is now gone from the competition… I actually thought she was quite cute. She was pretty good but someone had to go and I was hoping It wasn’t going to be Elliot since I’ve become quite fond of him! :grinny:

Some really, really good news! Brad’s Mom (who lives in Nebraska and has since late May 2004) IS gonna get to move back down here! Which is good because then Brad’s younger sisters will get to see their family and Brad’s Mom desperatley wanted to move back down here to be closer to Brad, espically after his bad, bad wreck back in March. I can’t wait to see his 3 younger sisters again. When they came for our wedding in December, the girls had already grown so much since the last time I saw them!!!!

AWWW! Abbys puppies are growing so much!!! The 2 almost solid white puppies are males and they are quite a bit bigger than the other 2! SO FAT! The other 2, one is almost the same colors as Abby and it’s a little girl! Then there’s the runt.. he’s a solid brown color and is smaller than the others because he has a clef pallet (sp?) which is a disfigurement with his mouth to where he can’t suckle milk as well as the other pups. He seems to be doing okay though. I love going out there and just watching Abby and the puppies. It’s soooo sweet to see her just laying with them.

It actually was quite muggy and humid outside today and still was when I went outside not too long ago. It was thundering and lightning too but It doesn’t seem to be doing anything at the moment. We’re supposed to have some storms so maybe it’ll rain and cool it off a bit. We had to run our air conditioner almost all afternoon to keep it cool in here but that A/C is definetly a lifesaver!!!! :thumbsup:

As far as site wise, I’ve been attempting to come up with some new ideas for content. I’ll try to work on some of that. I also need to update a few links here and there – I’d like to join more fanlistings and OH I’m gonna look into upgrading Greymatter to WordPress since I know WordPress has many, many nifty plug-ins and things. I’ve tried it before but I didn’t like how the archives were set up but later after I went back to Greymatter I found an archive plug-in I believe It was.. to where they would show a whole list of your entries month by month with entry links, like I have it set up on here for my Greymatter archives. Actually, before I upgrade I’m gonna look for that plug-in just to make sure I can actually find it before I do so.

I can’t believe how fast these past 2 weeks have went by. This week has flown by too. Tomorrow is already Thursday!!! As always, can’t wait for Friday so Brad can get paid and we get to go places and hang out and such!!! Yaaay!

I keep meaning to update this thing a bit more often but then I wind up not getting to. First off.. IT’S MAY!!!!!!!!!!!

How was your weekend? Mine went pretty well. Friday afternoon my best friend Megan dropped by around 2PM-ish and she returned my Season 2 of Buffy that she had borrowed and also brought over Red VS Blue Season 2 and 3! Then she asked If I had Season 4 of Buffy.. I said no and SHE BOUGHT IT FOR ME!!!!!!!!! *squee* As a late birthday present!! YAY!! :grinny: I was so delighted and thrilled! We talked for a bit then Brad came home and Megan had to go. Oh! Our doggie Abigail had her PUPPIES either Thursday night or Friday!!! Aww puppies. :love: Sooo. Brad calls Megans fiance Gatlin and he says he’d like to go to Tupelo to the mall to buy a game. I said eh.. I don’t really wanna go coz all they would do is go to Gamestop, hang out there a while, leave then go to Books-a-Million for an hour or two and.. yeah, no thanks. But! I told Brad I would like to go out to eat so he said he would come back and get me once they got ready to go somewhere to eat. I didn’t do much Friday evening then Brad called me and said that instead of having to come all the way home and get me, they were just gonna stay in Tupelo and eat at Taco Bell and that after they got me and them something, they were gonna come back to our house and eat then he was gonna take Gatlin home so I said okay! Once I got off the phone with them, I put in my Season 4 of Buffy and watched the bonus stuff.. pretty neat. I was still watching the last bit when they walked in the door. Brad decided he wanted to go spend the night with Gatlin since it would be too late to try to drive back home so I said okay. He asked If I wanted to come with and I said nah.. I would just sit there and watch them play video games. I’d rather stay at home and online. Brad got a quick shower then they headed out. I ate my 2 DELICIOUS burritos and stayed online. Brad’s cousin James stopped by to see where Brad was and talked for a sec then he went home (across the street) and got online and we talked for a bit. Rest of my Friday night / early Saturday? Nothing really special.. listening to music and singing along.

I stayed up all night until around 4AM then tried to go to sleep but couldn’t.. couldn’t get comfortable, was itching and just couldn’t. Damnit. Got BACK up for a bit then finally at almost 6AM, I went and layed down and finally fell asleep. :sleep: I was woken up by the phone ringing at like a little after 1PM. It was Brad but I didn’t get it in time but he called back a few minutes later and said he was on his way home. He got home and our Saturday was spent lounging about. It was really, really windy the whole day and got pretty chilly. Abby’s puppies are under our porch so Brad attempted to get them and AWWWWWE he got all 4 of them out and put them on the couch that’s on our porch and OMG, they are soooo little and cuute!! Abby’s being a really good Mommy to them. Saturday night, we watched 2 episodes of Season 4 of Buffy then Brad was about to fall asleep so he went to sleep and I stayed up a bit longer then came to bed.

Brad had talked to James about his lab doggie Buddy and had said that the best thing for him would be to be taken to a shelter since here he’s just tied up to a tree and has no freedom and not much of a life. Sooo, James said he had his little doggie that he can’t keep anymore and they decided that we’d all go Sunday and take the doggies to the shelter in Tupelo. Brad woke me up Sunday (yesterday) around 12:30PM and James was already here playing PS2 in the living room so I got ready and James had his doggie in a crate and so we had to put Buddy in the back of the van on his leash. He was wet too since It had rained a bit. Ick. We went allllllll the way into Tupelo and got there and the shelter was closed but they had “drop-off” cages so we put Buddy and James doggie into a cage.. and then I said byebye to them. Poor Buddy but ya know, there was nothing else we could do. After that bit, we headed back to Fulton to go grocery shopping at Wally World. Sheeeesh. Gas almost $2.90!!!!!!! Just absurd to me. Brad got like $12 worth of gas and bought me a pepsi. Our big mission at Wally World was to buy an air conditioner!!!!!! We all went in and James helped us pick out a good one and we wound up getting one that costs us almost $60 more but It’s better. It has 8,000 BTU’s, which means it’ll cool our trailor off a bit more and all I have to say about that is.. WOOO-HOOO!!!! :grinny: You have NO IDEA how happy I will be this summer to FINALLY not be roasting and miserable 24/7 because of the heat inside the trailor, yay!!!! :thumbsup: After purchasing that, we brought it to the van then headed BACK inside to buy our groceries. Did all that then came back home and James went on home to get some things done. I put away the groceries while Brad took Daxter outside to use the bathroom, heh. When all that was done, Brad got started to set up the air conditioner.. he got pretty frustrated and I helped him and we eventually got it all situated. It said on the card that came with it that if we run it 24/7 It’ll only cost us like $53 a year! A YEAR! Sweeeeeet. I gave Daxter another bath tonight and he’s soooo fluffy! Hehee. Brad played PS2 then eventually got started cooking din-din (hamburgers!!!) and James came over and said he was bored, lol. Brad and I ate our hamburgers and watched Red VS Blue Season 2 and 3 since James wanted to see it but I’d already seen it so yeah. James brought over his din-din (spaghetti!!!) and ate over here since he didn’t wanna have to cook at his place, which, is his Moms place but his as well, yeah. I eventually got up and started to wash the dishes and not too long after I started, James went home and Brad got ready for bed so I went to say goodnight to him. Finished the rest of the dishes then cleaned all the animal cages, swept and vaccumed the living room rug and dusted the entertainment center. Shew. At 1AM, I sat down and ate some ice cream and now it’s 2AM and I’m listening to Theory of a Deadman over and over haha.

This last week went by pretty fast and I’m almost certain this week will go by just as fast. I’m actually kindof tired right now but I suppose I’ll stay up just a bit longer then venture off to bed since I get up at 4:50-5AM with Brad. Hope you guys have a wonderful week! I’ll try to update during the week here and there.
