*Sigh* Bad news:
1) Brad got laid off his job Wednesday.. =( LOTS of people at his workplace have been laid off because of low production
2) The power went off the other morning and our Wii wouldn’t turn on. Found out it was the power cord THANK GOODNESS so we bought a new one

No idea what we’re gonna do as far as a job for Brad. We’ll see what we can do..

Mom came home for the hospital yesterday morning! She’s doing well except that she’s really weak from laying in bed for so long. I really wish we could take a trip to see her. =/

Friday we went with Brad’s Stepdad fishin! Brad caught a bluegill lol. We stayed out there for a few hours and kept Katie in the shade but the stupid ants kept getting everywhere. I got a little sunburnt but Brad got it pretty bad. Then Friday evening the people from Brad’s church invited us for dinner. They were super nice.

Today I mostly tried to sleep and this afternoon we headed to Tupelo to the mall to buy the new Wii powercord and then went out to eat at the chinese buffet, yum yum!

Went to Wal-Mart in Tupelo and bought groceries then headed back home! Gonna go to church in the morning then come home and clean like a maniac haha. Gotta wash clothes too. I better head to bed soon.. only gonna get a few hours of sleep. *wave*

We are currently using disposable diapers for Katie. I really like the pampers diapers. The little preemie diapers were so cute!!! We used those for a little while but now they are way too snug on Katie so we bought the size 1 pampers. Their still a bit too big on her but I’m sure they won’t be for too long! At one of my baby showers someone gave us a whole pack of size 1 huggies so that is what she is currently wearing. They aren’t bad either. Listen to me talking about diapers haha.

Don’t really feel like typing up a long summary of the weekend so here’s a short version!

Friday- Of course Brad was off so we decided to go spend the night with our friends. Katie’s 1st night away from home! Got to play some video games then went to bed after 2AM? Katie didn’t do too well haha she screamed for most of the night into the morning. Brad said to me, “I don’t see how you do it” Haha. Ummm Katie finally went to sleep sometime early morning and then Brad and I slept until after noon? I think? Got up and eventually went to eat at Hardees. We had to leave after that to come back home. Once we got home we went to Brad’s Moms house for a grill out and decided to wait on shopping until Sunday. We finally got our stimulus check in Saturday yay!

Sunday- Brad went to church that morning and I got some sleep. He got home about 12:30PM and then we just lazed about and he fell asleep for a few hours. We didn’t leave to go shopping until about 4PM I think. While Brad went and bought our groceries I got my hair cut and eyebrows waxed WOOT!

I really like it!

THEN! We decided since we haven’t bought anything big for ourselves in a long, long, long time we went ahead and bought THIS…

A WII YAY YAY We bought Super Mario Galaxy – wanted Mariokart but they didn’t have it BOO! We’ll see about it next time.

By the time we got home had to feed Katie, cook dinner, set up the Wii, pump some milk for Katie, get a shower, eat dinner AAAAAAAAAAH. Insanity! We did get to play the Wii a little- played some games together then watched Brad play Super Mario Galaxy then he went to bed after 10PM. I just now today got caught up on laundry and cleaning SHEW. Katie screamed off and on from 1AM-5AM. It’s rough but hopefully soon this little spell will pass. It only happens at night. Thankfully I got sleep this morning and now I’m good.

This week is Brad’s last week of work before his July vacation yay yay yay!!! OH and my Moms surgery went well! She’s still in the hospital but my Aunt has been calling and keeping me updated when she can. I wish I could be there and maybe Brad and I can go on his vacation.. maybe. Just depends on money.

As far as furniture goes, I would love to have a new bedroom set. Anytime I get to visit my cousin and sleep in his bed I grow even more jealous! He has a very very nice sleigh bed with a downy comforter and it is soooooo comfortable!! Who likes to sit and browse through a furniture catalog? Look at all the nice furniture I wish I had haha. Went today for Katie’s 1 month appointment! Last time she went she weighed 6lbs 2oz and now she weighs 7lbs 12oz LOL! What a little piggie! Almost 8lbs! Hehehe. Her head and chest have also grown an inch and she was 18 3/4 inches long and now she’s up to 19! YAY! Doc said she looks great! Told the Doc she’s had some gas troubles lately and she said to give her gas drops so hopefully that’ll help her. I didn’t get sleep last night because of her having gas hate that I can’t do anything for her when that happens. Also, last night after midnight it was silent in our place and then I heard this noise that sounded like someone was gonna hit our apartment! Then BOOM and I hear this person screaming! There was a wreck right here in front of our apartment! Not sure what happened but cops and etc were out here until about 2AM. That was quite scary to hear!

Mom has surgery tomorrow… I’m gonna call her again (I called her earlier) tonight and talk to her. I really hope tomorrow goes ok for her. I’m gonna worry worry worry until my Aunt calls me after she’s done in surgery.

Think I’m gonna work on the nursery a bit and then I’m hoping to get atleast 4 hours of sleep, maybe a little more? 4 would be good for me though!

Spring and summer are lovely times to take lots of digital pictures. I know when we first got our digital camera It didn’t have a memory card in it so we could only take a certain amount of pictures. Only around 10 or so pictures and that got old real fast! Finally, one day my husbands Mom gave us one of the memory cards her and her husband had bought. The memory card did not fit her husbands camera so she gave it to us! Buy some memory for your camera and take a nice picture this summer!

WOW. I cannot believe I gave birth to our baby girl a MONTH ago today!!!!!! Amazing! I love her and Brad so much<3

She’s a good baby! Only time she fusses is if she’s hungry or has some gas. She eats 3oz every 3 or so hours. Tomorrow is her 1 month appointment and I can’t wait to see how much she weighs now hehe!

SO last week was a very fast week – I mean, weekdays always went by relatively fast but now with Katie the week goes even faster. Nothing too big happened just day in day out. Friday of course Brad was off so we went and printed off pics to send to my Mom of Katie and then a bit later our friends came over YAY! We had fun and got to play their Wii + Mariokart! I want a Wii so bad now lol. Brad and I might buy one soon mwahaha. Our friends left about 10pm? Yesterday was grocery shopping at Wal-Mart! I actually got to go through a little bit of the baby shower gifts lol. Today was laundry + randomness. We went over to Brad’s Moms house to see about spray painting the dresser she got for us for Katie’s nursery. We didn’t have enough spray paint so tomorrow we’ll have to buy some more to finish it off then we can bring it home and I can finally really start to work on the nursery! WOOT WOOT.

Katie D is 4 weeks old today!!! (Aww look at her on the little video monitor!) I bought her some new onesies this weekend heh.

This week = Wednesday Katie will be 1 MONTH old! Thursday is her Doc appointment and then Friday Mom is having surgery at noon. Please pray for my Mom.. I want everything to go as smooth as possible for her!
