Our trip to Georgia was good all except for the smoke like I mentioned before! Simba doggie is still hanging in there and Moms kitty Hunter (he’s about.. 6 months?) is as spunky as can be! He LOOOOVES to play but does NOT like to be held heh. Mom cooked LOTS of good food, I tried to eat as much of it as I could, lol. I really love love LOVE to play card games with Mom and Cathy.. always have since I was real young. It’s kindof a family tradition. We stayed mostly at my Cousins house THANK GOODNESS he doesn’t smoke. We would sleep at my Cousins house, get up go over at Moms and go back to my Cousins house later at night. The trip to and from Georgia was overall alright. Now for OVERALL Christmas pressies from everyone (including Brad’s family) !!!

Last week Mom told me she went to the lung Doctor because lately she hasn’t been able to breathe hardly at all. They said her lungs weren’t their main concern, her heart was. Monday she went to the heart Doctor and they said she needed to get an angiogram done today to see what was up with her heart. I was SO WORRIED! They said If she had blockages, they would put stents in but If she had more than a couple, she would have to have bypass surgery. Eek. So I worried, worried, worried all day about her. She told me to call her tonight to see If she was home (meaning It wasn’t something bad or that she had to have surgery) but when I called tonight there was no answer so I waited then called my Aunt. No answer on her end either! She called me back tho and said that Mom had 2 blockages and they put 2 stents in today. She gave me Moms room number so I called her.

She seemed to be doing alright but had been having to lay flat of her back since 8:30AM this morning since they had to put tube up her leg to her heart through a major artery and they didn’t want her leg to bleed where they put that in so she can’t move until midnight tonight. She said her back hurt so bad and she can’t wait to move! She also said that she had been STARVING. She ate earlier and when I got off the phone with her they brought her a turkey sandwich, lol. I’m soooo glad that It’s over with and that she’ll have a few days to rest rest rest before we come to visit. She’s gonna have to take it REAL easy and I really wish she would just not even touch cigarettes… The Doctors also said that she had blockages in her kidneys so she’ll have to go to a kidney specialist but she said she’s not gonna go till after the holidays!

I am so, so relieved that It went ok. I can’t wait to see her!!!!!!

WOHOO! I’m sooo happy It’s finally December! Now I’m hoping It will go by fairly quick! Can’t wait to travel and see Mom and celebrate Christmas! 😀

I thought about blogging this weekend but eh, decided to wait. Friday I did my cleaning and Brad was gonna clean the animal cages but we were both hungry so he went and bought McDonalds. By the time we ate, he was too tired hah!! He woke up early Saturday (after 9AM) and wanted to clean the cages so I got up, ate then I helped him slightly with all the animal cages but he did most of it. Of course Saturday we went grocery shopping and bought a few Christmas presents hehe. Just got a few more to get then we’ll be done. Hopefully can buy up the rest this weekend! We had a YUMMY dinner Saturday! Ate tuna helper and mac and cheese! While we ate we finally watched License to Wed! What a lovely movie!!! I thought It was great. I LOVE JOHN KRASINSKI! He seems like such a wonderful guy!

Also, Brad had talked to a woman at his work about our Iguana and she said she would come get him Saturday. Brad said she kindof sounded like she would back out of it though and she must have because she never showed up. Oh well… speaking of animals, we MUST put an ad in the paper and see If we can sell any of them. I’d like to have them sold before we left for Christmas but I guess we’ll see what happens.

Brad’s eye contact ripped last week so he’s had to wear his glasses (that he’s had since he was like 12? 14?) and he can’t really see that good out of them, espically at night. We need to go to the eye center @ Wal-Mart and Brad’s Mom said she would take him but come to find out the eye Doc wouldn’t be there during the weekend only Mon-Thur so maybe we can see about going when he gets off work because he really needs new glasses and contacts but right now he just wants new contacts. He’s had those contacts… for I dunno almost a year probably? I know It’s been a loooong time.

8 weeks pregnant today! Well, that’s what I estimate.. according to my LMP due date, I’d be a little over 8 weeks so I might change my tickers and such or I may wait till I go to the Doc and see exactly when I’m due according to her. I feel pretty good, I think my boobs are already growing a little, gosh lol.

My only concern is that I’m sooo afraid they won’t do an ultrasound or anything with my appointment and I just want to hear my little ones heartbeat. I guess I’ll have to see what my Doc says and then If nothing I think I’m gonna plead to atleast hear the heartbeat through a doppler or something!! Just to hear the little heart yenno?? Just some reassurance that my little bean is OK in there! It’s keeping me on the edge of my seat! If they won’t do ANYTHING, I’m gonna rent a doppler so I can listen to it @ home. I might do that anyway.

Getting very, very excited about Christmas! We DEFINETLY are going to visit Mom, my Aunt and Cousin YAAAAAY! We leave early on the 22nd, woohoo! Talked to Mom yesterday and she was naming off all the food she’s cooking for Christmas.. sounds DELICIOUS! She’s also making like 4 different desserts, lol. Cherry pie, strawberry cheesecake pie, red velvet cake (she always makes that @ Christmas) and this type of jello-mashmellow salad stuff that is beyond awesomecore! I JUST CAN’T WAIT!!!! 😀

So Brad randomly said to me yesterday while I was on the phone with Mom: Would you want to move to Georgia? After I got off the phone with Mom I asked him – HUH? Coz he doesn’t like Georgia. He said he could get used to it. Man, I would love to live in Georgia again. I grew up there! I dunno, we’ll see If anything comes of that or not.

Know what I wish I had right now? A can of spaghetti-o’s! 😆 Gonna have to stock up on those this weekend haha!

Yay yay yay!!!! I’m 7 weeks pregnant today! 😀 😀 I can’t wait to meet each new week as my pregnancy progresses further along! I actually feel pretty good today, thankfully. Just woke up from a nap not too long ago and am about to eat some peach slices! Yum, yum!!

Here I go with weather talk again, lol. Today is rainy, rainy! We might even get some serious storms later this afternoon and into the evening. Then tomorrow brings in a blast of cold air, brr!!! It’ll be more holiday-ish I guess, lol. Supposed to remain very chilly for a couple of days after that.

Well we’re either going to Brad’s Grandmas house (Dads side) or going to his Cousins house (Moms side) and It’s up to Brad, his family and all. Doesn’t matter to me, I’ll get talk of the baby ever which way we go hehehehe. And Thanksgiving food, yum! I guess technically we could go to both but again, It’s up to him. I’m just along for the ride!

Happy Thanksgiving Eve! When Brad gets off work today, he has a 4 day weekend!!! 🙂

So I’m 5 weeks pregnant today, YAY!!!!!!! 😀 Babys heart is starting to beat and circulate blood now 🙂 I feel a bit more bloated today and happy about it too, lol. 😆 Gosh, ever since I found out I was pregnant, I have been this extremely happy person. I feel so alive and my heart is already filled with love for this tiny one!

I just got off the phone with Mom not long ago! Of course we talked about babies, babies, babies! SOO exciting! She reallys want to be here when I have the baby. I really hope she can make it too because I want, her, the dearest person to my heart to be here! She said she had sent me a card with pictures of her new kitty (she got him like a month ago?) so she asked If I had checked the mail and I said no and she told me to go check, lol. Sure enough! Got a card from her and my Aunt! AWWWWW. It was so sweet! They both sent congrats cards about the baby and Mom also sent pics of her kitty! Pretty kitty!!! He’s a very light blonde color. She said he is one BAD kitten, 😆 They all are at that age though. And the cards were LOVELY and really touching.

I will eventually start to post pictures of my belly but right now – I already have quite a belly to begin with haha so I’m gonna wait till I atleast start showing a little before I go to blind someone LOL.

BRRRRRR. I think we’re gonna have to turn our gas for our heater back on pretty soon If this cold weather continues. My hands are freezing right now and I had to go put some socks on! It felt ok outside earlier but now that It’s getting into the afternoon It’s getting REALLY cold out there. I always talk about the weather haha.

Remember to set your clocks back an hour… right about now! Ugh I don’t like this hour set back because It gets dark at around 5pm. Ooo and we also have some COLD weather coming in this upcoming mid-week. Probably will even get a bit of a frost.

HOLY cow. My prenatal vitamins.. our insurance doesn’t cover them and their like $42! SO once I get my OB doc, I’m gonna ask her If I could just take the store bought because woah. I read these vitamins are one of the top-class prenatals but she might have prescribed those to me for a reason, I dunno. Whatever is best for the baby!!!!!!!! 🙂

Today went pretty good. Slept in till about noon or so and when I got up Brad said that his Mom got us a few things from a yard sale (she LOVES them) and she picked up Brad a book, got me a pregnancy book and baby monitors that were pratically brand new. Pretty cool! After that someone got pulled over in front of our apartment, I think they were drunk. They didn’t get arrested though. Brad went and got us some cheeseburgers from Mcdonalds since we didn’t really have much to eat.

Decided to go see Brad’s Grandma (on his Dad’s side) to tell her we were expecting. Haven’t seen her since August! I don’t think when Brad said “Are you ready to be a Great Grandma” that it really sunk in at first, lol. She’s happy though! We sat and watched a lifetime movie with her, heh. Then decided to go down the road to visit Brad’s Aunt who we haven’t seen in a long while either. Told her as well! 🙂 Hung out over there for a bit then headed on back home. Talked to Mom on the phone while supper was cooking then ate and played LOTRO online for a bit, which was nice because I haven’t been playing on it a lot lately with all the baby excitement! Now here I am! Think I’m gonna get a snack pretty soon. I’ve already drank 2 glasses of water and have had to pee a few times, lol. 😆 Tomorrow we do lots of laundry anddd probably not much else! 😎

I tell you what, already I have the pregnancy brain going on. I’m constantly forgetting what I just said LOL. 😆 I’m just sooo happy to be pregnant!!!! 🙂 🙂 Man last night I was EXHAUSTED already by like 10pm! I think I went to bed around midnight but I was dragging by then!

How was everyones Halloween? We only got a few trick-o-treaters! Mainly because It’s a very, very small town and mostly everyone was at the main Halloween church event that was going on. Brad actually put a fake icky looking wound on his forehead! It looked awesome haha. So we have lots of leftover candy but I am going to avoid it LOL. I don’t need it!!!!!!!!

Also, notice the theme! I wanted something very simple for now so I snatched the theme from jenn! Very nice, simple theme which is exactly what I want right now and probably for a while! 😀 Oooh and finally some new smilies! Courtesy of bouncy-bubbles.net! 😀

I think Brad and I are gonna go to the mall this weekend! :grinny: If we do I’ll go and get my eyebrows done because boy do they need it!!! I remember when Brad first got his truck that he had his wreck in – we would go to the mall almost EVERY weekend. Now? We only got MAYBE once a month, MAYBE. He’s not too keen on driving long distances hardly ever. I hope he can shake that and we can go back to the way It was. I liked going out like that every weekend instead of just going to the grocery store every weekend.

So tonight we’re gonna babysit Brad’s 3 younger sisters while Brad’s Mom & Stepdad go to some celebration for Brad’s Stepdad. I cannot believe Saturday will be the 1st of September! Before you know it, the holidays will be coming up and whenever those come around, It always goes by fast. Then comes New Years and 2008?!?!? 2008. Wow. I remember everyone talking about the big scare about going into 2000. Almost 8 years have went by.. just seems impossible!

One thing I love about my Mom.. she is the person I call whenever something is pissing me off or someone. In fact I think as soon as I get a few things done, think I’m gonna call her and rant about this and that :grinny: :grinny: :grinny: I love my Mom. Have a great day!!!!

I couldn’t stop crying this morning. 🙁 Thinking about how everything used to be, living back home with Mom – the memories in that house. THE MEMORIES WITH MY FRIENDS, OMG! 🙁 I truly and really have been so isolated these past few years that I am so anxious around people these days. I used to be this really, really, silly, goofy full of spunk person but since I haven’t had any friend interaction in such a long time my sense of humor is different than It used to be. I’ve always been pretty mature for my age and now I think It’s even moreso. I miss how me and my best friend Allen would just be each other’s company for the whole entire summer day. Now I don’t even get to see him anymore. :blink: Brad is my best friend but the thing is all he wants to do when he gets home is get a shower and play his computer game. :blank: I’ve tried talking him into doing things, he says right now It’s too hot to go outside and do stuff, which, I agree. I got him to go to the store with me the other day to just look around. It’s different though.. he’s my husband, yenno? I really need a close girl friend.

I was also thinking about Mom. How she raised me as her own. Took me in and did so much for me. I think about how once Brad and I have a baby.. she probably won’t be here to be in the delivery room with us. I would want her there, too because she means the WORLD to me. I want her close so she can see our baby. And thinking about her not just made me cry even more this morning. I know my Mom and I didn’t get along for quite a long time but once we got on good terms (which, we still are) It’s been awesome and I just miss her now that she lives 4-5 hours away. Can’t just go over on the weekend anytime we want. 🙁 Mom really, really is my angel. Her and my Grandpa (RIP Gpa) both, I wouldn’t be here if it weren’t for their big hearts.
