Hehe. Since I was getting anxious about getting started on putting together Katie’s nursery, while we were out shopping today I bought a few foam craft things to put together a sign that I can put on her nursery door! I thought It turned out real cute!

I’m sooo excited that my 1st baby shower is next Sunday! Also, don’t forget to wish all your Mommys a Happy Mother’s Day tomorrow! Since my Mom lives in Georgia, I sent her card off Wednesday so she should have it by now!

I wound up not cleaning when I got home from my appointment Friday – was too tired and my sinuses (face) were really hurting/pinching so I just decided to take a nap until Brad got home. We had chinese Friday night, yum yum!!! Saturday we got up, went and got an ice cream cone for me and a pineapple milkshake for him and eventually went grocery shopping. When we got there I went to the hair cut place to get my eyebrows waxed. Had to wait quite a long time tho! Once done we got our groceries then came on back home. I still felt pretty rough from my cold but started to clean house once we got home and I had put away the groceries.

Brad cleaned up the animal cages while I cleaned up the rest of the apartment. Always feels so nice and gives such an accomplished feeling when I get lots done. I felt a little sluggish from my cold but I also had a good amount of energy where I wanted to clean, clean, clean. Definetly nesting! I did clean up the nursery more and mop over the floor. FINALLY got some answers about Brads Dads side on their baby shower! Can’t wait for it now!! :] Yesterday we had a bit of a concern on the TMI side but things are fine. Just another lazy Sunday, really. Our baby girl has really been active since yesterday evening! Was really going at it when I went to bed after 1AM. I’ve felt her even a bit this morning since I’ve been up heh.

Now I just hope this cold is GONE GONE maybe within a few days. I drank a lot of orange juice this weekend so hopefully that helped speed up the process of elimination with that. Have a great Monday! Supposed to be near or in the 80’s all week! 🙂

My Doc’s appointment went well Thursday 🙂 Gained 1 pound which they said is good because from now on I might gain a pound a week. Blood pressure was excellent @ 120/79! Of course my MIL drove me up there @ 8:30AM and after they weighed and took my blood pressure, they stuck my finger to see about my sugar level. It was 80 and they said that’s good. Told me to go wait out in the waiting room for the Doc to see me. Finally came back and the nurse asked my MIL if she wanted to come back with me 🙂 At first she said no but then the nurse said, “Come on back and hear the babys heartbeat!” Heheh and my MIL asked me If I cared and I said no so she came back with me. Doc finally came in and measured my belly – I’m measuring a bit bigger but she said I have extra inches on my belly and that baby will probably fill in those inches. Got to hear my little girls heartbeat!!!! Going at 142 beats per minute, awwwww. It’s just so nice to think about that.. It’s my little girls heart I’m hearing! So was done seeing the Doc – she said to go and get something to eat and come back in 2 hours. Doc said that because she wants to watch my glucose (sugar) level that I will need to come every week now (normally would be every 2 weeks at this point) and It needs to be in the morning.. which means Brad can’t take me anymore, boo. =( My MIL said of course that will take me anytime I need her to. Made my next appointment for Friday, May 2nd.

My MIL and I left to go see about getting Taco Bell but It was 9AM and they didn’t open till 10AM. Wasn’t sure where to eat but we decided on McDonalds where I got a sausage biscuit and a breakfast burrito + low fat milk. Ate on the way to the courthouse and went in once we were finished eating. Asked about where the ID department was and It was downstairs so we went down and there was a pretty big line. Ugh. The examiner asked what everyone needed and of course I said ID. She left soon after that to go do a driving test and wouldn’t be back till 10:15AM so everyone cleared out at that point so we got to sit down, yay lol. Waited.. examiner came back, got a few more people done then I got to go in!!! WOOT AND I FINALLLLLLLLLY GOT AN ID hahah so now I can identify myself after all these years haha. Pitiful. Also picked up a permit book to study and hopefully soon I can get my permit, practice driving and get my drivers license. When we left there It was 11:00AM and we had to be back @ the Docs at 11:30AM so we went over to Shoe Show real quick and when we went in my MIL said to pick out a pair of sandals and she’d buy them for me! She is too generous! She really didn’t have to do that but I thought WOOT new sandals! 😀 She helped me look around and I finally decided on these nice blue Nike flip flops that have green and orange flowers on the bottom and the straps are white with a green Nike check on them. Their really nice! We left around 11:25AM and got back just in time! The nurse called me back just as I sat down lol. The older nurse Linda cracks me up everytime I’m there!! She’s great. She stuck my finger and my glucose was 124 and they didn’t want it higher than 125 so I just did make the number, lol. We sat there and waited for the Doc to get through with a patient so Linda could tell her my number but It took a while! Linda and I talked about all kinds of things – I’m so glad their such nice people up there. Makes me feel sooo at ease, relaxed and welcome. Finally the younger nurse came in and said she’d go tell the Doc and Doc said that number was fine so I was done! My MIL drove me back home and I was soooooo thirsty! Told her thank you, thank you, thank you over and over hehe then headed inside to eat lunch and clean up a little. Layed down at 1PM, woke up 2 short times then got up when I heard Brad came home!

So yeah that was my Thursday! 😀 We had chinese last night and It was soooooo good! Planning on going out and about today and going grocery shopping sometime tonight before we come back home. OMG gas prices are insane. In maybe the last 2 weeks? It’s went from $3.29 to $3.55!!!!!!!!! Insanity. Also – my baby girl has really been giving me some big kicks lately! Like 4-5 kicks in a row! It’s funny, lol. I hear the kicks start to really hurt at the end but I don’t care If they do. =) Welp, better get up and go get ready! Have a great weekend!!!

Weekend was good! Friends came over Friday and spent the night, yay! 🙂 Was supposed to go out with Brad’s friend Saturday but something came up so we just went grocery shopping instead. We bought this 3 drawer thing to put in our bathroom to put extra towels in. I also bought a cute new pink shirt. Sunday was our usual lazy day.. talked to Mom on the phone, did lots of laundry. So yeah!

I’m now in my 3rd (and final) trimester of pregnancy!! About 3 months to go! Which makes me 27 weeks today! And what a rough night! Woke up twice to go to the bathroom then woke again with leg pain. Every morning getting out of bed is pretty painful because seems a lot of the pressure goes on my left hip and leg… ouch.. so I almost fall over when I get out of bed. They say it only gets worse but It’s definetly allllllllll worth it! Just wow, I can’t wait to see and hold OUR BABY! Ahhhhhhhh!! Down to NINE days until our next appointment – can’t wait! Trying to not get my hopes up too high but PRAYING baby will OPEN those legs!!! Brad’s Mom bought us a few girl outfits and few boy outfits lol along with some other plain onesies and a sleep positioner yay!

Had another baby dream today while napping! In the dream I had a baby girl on June 30th and she weighed 7lbs and I think.. 3oz? How weird would that be if it came true???

HAPPY EASTER !!! Hope everyone had a great one!

I’m still quite tired today from Saturday, lol. We were out and about from Sat afternoon until about after 10pm. Went to ToysRUs (haven’t been there since I was a kid!!) and looked at everything hehe. Then to the BABY section! Was trying to decide what I wanted to buy.. wound up buying a take-along rainforest swing and a Fisher Price diaper bag. Yaaaay!!! Then off to the Mall where I bought some new maternity pants and a cute maternity top! (See my Flickr for pics!) Also bought the new Chevelle CD and Brad got a few various things too. Then we were just gonna make a quick stop to Wal-Mart for Brad to get Red Bull but that turned into more baby looking hehe I wound up buying Ocean Wonders Aquarium that hangs on the crib. Then we ran into Brad’s Aunt at the store and talked to them for a bit and then finalllly we came back home! Today we went to Brad’s cousins house for a little family get-together for Easter.

Mom has been in the hospital – long story but hopefully she will come home Tuesday! I really hope she can!!!

Man I want April 17th to get here so we can have another ultrasound! :]

Anyhow, I’m gonna eat some COFFEE ice cream, watch a little TV, browse the i-net for a bit then get some good Zzzz’s!

I know some people come to my site and see nothing but random sponsered posts – I try to write a normal blog after them but I’ve just been slacking lately haha so I apologize for not blogging regular posts more often. I’m proud to say I’m keeping up with my 366 on Flickr though! 😀

Lately I’ve been really down about not having friends to hang out with randomly. I miss that more than anything… being able to have real close friends who just want to go out like once a week? Once every 2 weeks even???? So I was more than HAPPY when Brad’s friend (well she’s my friend too) Amanda and her boyfriend Micheal wanted to hang out Friday night! I was really, really hoping the plans were gonna stick and that we would be able to go out with FRIENDS for once in a really long time! Even though It was raining – we did get to hang out and had such a great time! A trip to Petsmart first then to the mall where I FINALLY got my eyebrows waxed, lol. Been wanting to get those done for months. Went to other various stores but I was tiring out, lol. My feet were starting to really hurt and swell.. I should have NOT worn my Vans shoes out because their so FLAT and I’m not used to that at all but after roaming in FYE, I went outside the store and sat on a bench for a bit while they finished looking around in there. Went to one more store and by that time I felt like I was gonna pass out.. because my feet were hurting, I was hungry and thirsty and a bit sweaty. After the mall, we went to my FAVORITE place! The New China Buffet! I love that place! Really really really great chinese food for a great price. We all ate until we couldn’t anymore, lol. I had 2 plates then a dessert plate and I was completely and utterly satisified. I swear. I wish our little town here had a chinese buffet like that. We have a small one but It’s NOTHING compared to that place! *DROOOL* After stuffing our bellies, we went to randomly roam and hang out at Wal-Mart! Mostly I spent time with Amanda and Brad spent time with Micheal. We all had a blast! It was sooooooooo nice to have a girl to talk to!!! And I know Brad enjoyed having a guy to talk to and be randomly silly with – and they were lol both of them incredibly silly!
They took us back home and we said we’d hang out again sometime soon again. I REALLY hope so! I had a blast!!!!!

The weather is bizarre around here – 70 degrees today and was around that yesterday but we’re gonna get thunderstorms tonight then a cold front comes in so the highs tomorrow won’t be but around 30-40’s and a chance of FLURRIES. Crazy!!!!!! I like this warm weather! Don’t want cold again! Our thunderstorms tonight might be pretty severe.. all day the wind has been really high.

As far as baby goes! I’m feeling our little baby a bit more often now which just melts my heart. I simply cannot wait to hold this little one! Neither can Brad.. we’re always talking about it. *happy sigh* 🙂 I really love my belly bump lol Tomorrow I’ll be 22 weeks and have about 2 weeks until we see If this little one is a GIRL OR BOY!!!!!!!!!!! Yay Yay Yay!!!

For some reason today I just feel really happy and high energy! Which is excellent – Brad also had a good day so that makes me even happier to know that. I got pretty emotional Saturday worrying about money and buying things of our own for baby – I know lots of people are gonna buy us things for the baby but I also want to buy things ourselves! Brad and I have started a little savings pot just for baby. Makes me feel a lot better! Once we get so much saved up, we’ll go out a buy a little at a time! So I feel better about that. Alright! I guess that about wraps up my post! Have a great rest-of Monday!!!!

Friday afternoon & evening – Went with Brad to get his check cashed & after we payed the truck payment stopped by a sale store. Got random things + an 84 pack of Huggies diapers for a good deal! Don’t know If we’ll like Huggies or not but we couldn’t pass up that deal! Had McDonalds for dinner

Saturday – Shopping with Brad’s Mom and 3 younger sisters. Bought groceries, blah blah lol. Back home, put those away then Brad and I played Lord of the Rings Online until 4AM LOL.

Sunday – I slept until around noon or so then got up, ate and eventually got ready so we could go to Brad’s Moms house to celebrate one of Brad’s younger sisters birthdays! (She’s 11) Got to eat a bit over there plus cake and ice cream, yum yum! She was sooooo excited over her presents lol and she got a Nintendo DS! Came home, did more laundry then @ 5PM Brad’s Aunts husband + one of their daughters came over because Brad’s Aunt decided she wanted to have some or all of our 6 birds! Yep! They decided to take them all so we helped load them up and they left.

I hated to get rid of any of our birds but It’s what we had to do because of baby and there would be no room for 2 bird cages. They’ll be in good care though so that’s great. Now we can FINALLY start cleaning up the extra room!!!! I posted a pic of it on my Flickr. Anyhow, I’m gonna finish this late dinner of mine then drink some more water. Have a great night!!!!!

Before I tell about our Saturday, I have been on a cleaning frenzy LOL. Spent most of Friday cleaning and It felt niiiiice. Was gonna do more today but we went out so today I’m gonna wash clothes and continue with more cleaning things I want to get done. There’s SOOO much in the apartment I want done done done!

Saturday Brad and I got up, got ready then decided to head out towards the mall. Needed to buy our chinchilla some more food so decided since we had to go out that way we’d go out to the mall. We haven’t been out to the mall in a long while so It was really nice! Went to Petsmart first to get the chinchilla food and of course roamed around looking at all the animals. Afterwards, drove over to the mall and went to various stores just mainly looking. I wanted to go get my eyebrows waxed at the Master Haircuts so Brad went into Spencers and Hot Topic while I was in there. The woman who waxed my eyebrows was fairly young and was quick about it so I was done and out of there in no time. I came up to Brad in Hot Topic and he was surprised to see me so fast haha. 😀 We continued to go various stores and I eventually bought a new shell necklace and some raspberry fizz perfume from Claire’s! Which made me feel good since I don’t really get little things like that for me often. After a few more stops, we decided to leave the mall. Brad wanted to go by Books-a-Million (of course) so I went straight to the preggo section and sat my butt down on the floor and looked at week-by-week books. Brad came a bit later and sat with me and looked at a Father-to-be book! 🙂 He already has one here @ home but was just looking at one since I was still looking at the one I had. When we came to the mall, we usually go back to Fulton to do our grocery shopping but we decided to stay there in town and shop at their Wal-Mart.

We needed quite a bit of groceries… I was out of most of my cleaning supplies and out of washing detergent. As far as food goes, I bought strawberries, grape juice, microwave-ready steamed peas, shrimp flavored ramen *drool*, cream and chives crackers *more drool*, and 2 of those little rings of shrimp (can you tell I love shrimp?) – and all that was just extra this and that. Course we bought our usual breakfast, lunch and weekend dinner stuff. Annnd since I still had Christmas money! I bought Chris Daughtry’s CD since I am a fan of his! Yay! Traveled home and man, my legs are sore!

Don’t know If I mentioned about our iguana but we let him go in the woods Thurday night.. we couldn’t keep him because he was biting Brad and we were afraid he might bite someone else. What else could we do? Wow, ER’s episode was amazing Thursday night! Made me cry! Was a really touching episode. Interested to see what’s gonna happen with the show when they come back in the new year.

Friday we didn’t do much, really. Got food from Mcdonalds Friday night and just played online, yaddaaa yadda. Our friend Gatlin wanted Brad and me to come over Saturday and so at some point I had posted about getting rid of our animals on livejournal and Megan (Gatlins wife) said she wanted our bunny so when we went to their house Saturday evening we gave them the bunny! I know she’ll be in good hands. So now all we have to get rid of is our 6 birds. I watched them play Rock Band, pretty cool game! Then we went to Tupelo to eat @ Red Lobster to celebrate mine and Brads 2 year wedding anniversary (which is tomorrow!!) and had a pretty good time. The shrimp was yummy but my mashed potatoes weren’t the best but yeah. Went to Books-a-Million afterwards and I bought a little beanie baby penguin! It’s a Christmas penguin and it jingles! Also bought Mom a little glass angel for a Christmas present! 🙂 We left there right about when they were fixing to close then headed back to their place and they played Rock Band a little longer. I think It was after midnight when we left to go home. It was around 1:30AM when we finally got home! We both didn’t go to sleep until after 2:30AM I think.

Today I slept in until almost 1PM and got up feeling very hungry and haven’t had that much energy all day! Went grocery shopping and bought more Christmas presents! I think we’ll finish up the shopping next weekend then I can sit down and wrap them all up! YAY! We fixed pizza rolls for dinner, still finishing mine up now! Yum yum! Still got 1 more load of laundry to fold then I have to get started on Christmas cards so I can mail those off hopefully tomorrow.

That about wraps up my weekend! Hope everyone had a good one!!! 😀

WOHOO! I’m sooo happy It’s finally December! Now I’m hoping It will go by fairly quick! Can’t wait to travel and see Mom and celebrate Christmas! 😀

I thought about blogging this weekend but eh, decided to wait. Friday I did my cleaning and Brad was gonna clean the animal cages but we were both hungry so he went and bought McDonalds. By the time we ate, he was too tired hah!! He woke up early Saturday (after 9AM) and wanted to clean the cages so I got up, ate then I helped him slightly with all the animal cages but he did most of it. Of course Saturday we went grocery shopping and bought a few Christmas presents hehe. Just got a few more to get then we’ll be done. Hopefully can buy up the rest this weekend! We had a YUMMY dinner Saturday! Ate tuna helper and mac and cheese! While we ate we finally watched License to Wed! What a lovely movie!!! I thought It was great. I LOVE JOHN KRASINSKI! He seems like such a wonderful guy!

Also, Brad had talked to a woman at his work about our Iguana and she said she would come get him Saturday. Brad said she kindof sounded like she would back out of it though and she must have because she never showed up. Oh well… speaking of animals, we MUST put an ad in the paper and see If we can sell any of them. I’d like to have them sold before we left for Christmas but I guess we’ll see what happens.

Brad’s eye contact ripped last week so he’s had to wear his glasses (that he’s had since he was like 12? 14?) and he can’t really see that good out of them, espically at night. We need to go to the eye center @ Wal-Mart and Brad’s Mom said she would take him but come to find out the eye Doc wouldn’t be there during the weekend only Mon-Thur so maybe we can see about going when he gets off work because he really needs new glasses and contacts but right now he just wants new contacts. He’s had those contacts… for I dunno almost a year probably? I know It’s been a loooong time.
