HEY there online bloggers! How are you guys? I’m doing GREAT! Almost over my cold and Katie is getting there too. She’s on antibiotics for her almost-infected ear but hopefully that’s just about all gone now too. Well since January 10th I’ve now lost 9 pounds!!! I feel so great! I did 4 miles on the treadmill today and plan to just keep going! I’m excited to see how much I can lose this week!

Brad is trying to get March 14th off (Saturday) so we can travel out to see my Mom and spend Thursday-Sunday with her!! If we get to be out there till Sunday (my birthday!) then I’ll get to see her on my birthday for the 1st time in… a long time!

Everyone having a good week so far? Days are just flying by for me!!! I cannot WAIT for spring and summer! I MISS the warm weather! I can’t wait to see my progress by summer, WOOT!

WOW. Katie D is 9 months old today! Can’t believe it. Soon she will be a YEAR OLD! The last week or so she’s been sneezing quite a bit. Well, I think Monday? She started coughing and now she’s full blown sick. Coughing, runny nose. Poor babe. I also have caught it a little but am trying to fight it off with Tylenol cold medicine and drinking Vitamin C. I felt sooo drained and sore yesterday but feel a bit better today. Come on medicine, do your job and don’t let me get full blown sick! I want to continue my exercise and don’t want to have to stop because of sickness!

It feels so lovely outside.. 74 degrees but we’re under a tornado watch. Figures. Tomorrow It’s back to around 50 degrees. BOOOO. I can’t wait for spring and espically SUMMER!!!! So what have I been up to? Not much.. same ole, same ole. Take care of Katie & the house and exercising. We attempted to go to the park Sunday but we got out there and It was WAAAAAY too windy and cold so had to turn right around and come home.

Tomorrow Katie has a doctors appointment so that’s good — they can check her out and make sure she doesn’t have anything too serious as far as sickness. Welp, that’s about it. Nothing more to really update about! Have a great Wednesday!!!!

Yesterday was such a GREAT GREAT day for us! After church, we came home and let Katie take a nap while I ate some lunch. We decided after lunch, we’d go to the park right by Brad’s work and get out since It was such a beautiful day. Our friend Jeff tagged along as well! We walked around, observed the beautiful duckies and scenery, took some pics then finally played some badminton! I love badminton, one of my favorite games. My Aunt and I used to play all the time when I was a child. We stayed out there for almost 3 hours and Katie never once cried, whined, NOTHING! I was sooo excited about that because we all enjoyed it!!! Can’t wait to go back!

*sigh* Wonderful, wonderful day.

Thank you all for the meal suggestions in my meal o’rama post! Gah. I hate struggling with money. We’re having a hard time but we just gotta hang in there until Brad gets paid this coming Thursday. We need to file our taxes ASAP so we can get that money to pay things off and also use it to go SEE MY MOM!!! I miss her a lot. Sigh.

Exercise! A lady from church let us have her old exercise bike! YAY YAY! I did 30 minutes on it yesterday and am about to go do 30 more minutes on it while reading a little (It has a book stand on it) and then I’ll put on some music. I didn’t do any exercise last week except for yesterday on the bike. I’ve been eating differently and exercising since January 10th so It’s been just bout a month and I’ve lost 7 pounds! Not much but wow, can’t believe I’m close to 10 pounds already! I weigh myself every Saturday morning and found out this morning I lost 1 pound this week! That’s great considering I didn’t get to do hardly any exercise! I’m excited to see what I can accomplish this year. Just gotta keep my modivation!!

Speaking of that, I’m off to go do the exercise now! Have a great day and weekend!!!

I know sometimes our hot water doesn’t keep for very long and end up washing my hair in cold water! Yikes, I can’t stand that. Plus without the tank taking up space in your home you can put away those extra items that have been in your way! That sounds like a win to me.

We all know the word job is becoming something some people don’t even want to hear with the economy doing bad as it is. People are getting laid off from their jobs left and right. Apparently though the healthcare and medical field are becoming more popular jobs. On the other end of things, car companys are going down the hole. It is said though that the healthcare and medical fields are going to remain strong. Too bad I’ve never wanted to become a nurse or doctor.

One day when Brad and I have our own house I would love to be able to style my own bathroom. How lovely are the bathroom vanities? Some of them are very elegant looking and just would fit so nicely into a bathroom. I know in our last bathroom we were running out of storage space. With these vanities you can get that extra storage for bathroom items such as towels, washclothes or whatever you’re needing to put away. If I had my own bathroom color theme, I would probably go with a dark cherry color. I love the idea of buying and fixing up any room really!
