The day has been excellent!

Brad did exercise with me! Well, he was on the bike and I was on the treadmill but their side by side. After we fed Katie and I fixed my hair, we headed out!!! First stop was the local produce store where I finally picked up some red, seedless grapes and quite a variety of fruits and veggies. Only spent $14 for a whole lotta yummies. Our next stop was the hair salon where I finally got my eyebrows waxed! YIIIPPEEE! Nothing like the burn of eyebrow waxing but I love getting them done.

Our final stop was the pond across from Brad’s workplace. It’s been a long while since we’ve been out there since It’s been too cold and today’s temperature actually got up to 60 so I figured we’d stop by the pond so we could walk around with Katie and let her see the duckies. The sun was setting by the time we got there and the sky was gorgeous. When I look up at a beautiful sky I always remember my Heavenly Father and how He created ALL of it for us to see and glory in. And it was just so. It looked like a painting in all it’s beauty. We walked Katie around the whole pond and she enjoyed every step! I had on a short sleeve t-shirt and was freezing by the time we went all the way around the pond. We made our way back home and I got into some warm, cozy clothes.

I’ve been trying to get Katie to drink out a hard-top sippy cup and she doesn’t understand you have to suck on it — she just throws a fit. I’ll try to work with her more on it over time. She choked on her dinner tonight so of course that sent her into a freak out understandably. She also DOES NOT like me to brush her teeth and I’ve made it a habit every morning and night. Tonight was no different with screaming and all. I’m trying to work on that area with her too. My Mom gave me some good tips with that so hopefully with time she’ll get better. I know she was utterly exhausted by the time she went to bed so she’ll get some good rest tonight!

After Katie went to bed, Brad and I sat down together to do our Monday night church studying. I love it. It’s SO important to me and I know we will both grow spiritually from doing those things together. Now we’re sitting here eating dinner! Not sure what we’re gonna do tonight, hmm. Probably watch some more Death Note and I’ll probably do some online work as well. Doesn’t matter what we do as long as we are together! That is all that matters to me. Always.
