Appetite

Last night, Brad and I went to bed but neither one of us was tired so when we can’t sleep we’ll rub each others backs and legs. It is soooo soothing and relaxing. Which eventually lead to more intimate things, heh. Afterwards, we still weren’t tired and wound up getting online until almost 3AM. Of course we still had to get up bright and early this morning but we both surely did not want to get out of bed!

Before I SPILL on my Thursday, I just want to say how THANKFUL I am that my appetite has went back to “normal”. Before the cleanse, I could never really get satisfied or full unless I stuffed myself. Sounds bad… and it was for a time period. Now I can fix a big salad for lunch, eat only half of it and already have my dinner! That is so awesome to me!!!! It’s so nice to be satisfied with small portions again. I had gotten that way before after I first lost my big chunk of weight and in early 2010… small portions REALLY filled me up. Then everything went haywire. Now I know if it happens again, which, I’m gonna try to make sure it WON’T… BUT if it does then I’ll just do another juice cleanse.

OK! Thursday! I ate breakfast then went back to sleep, as usual. After getting Katie up then letting her have her daily bowel movement… haha we got ready to go TO THE PARK! I snacked on some fruit and had cooked some quinoa earlier so I fixed a little bowl of that mixed with greens and veggies.

I was still kindof hungry so I grabbed a strawberry and a DATE before we headed out the door! (I should of eaten more tho!..)
We arrived and I let Katie go to it! There were only a handful of other kids that would come and go the whole time we were there. Eventually, we walked around an area right beside the park with trees and SHADE to hang out there for a while. I called Mom to say hello and decided to go ahead and leave to go drop by her house for a visit! She had wanted me to help her clean house last Sunday but then she got sick so I figured I’d go over and see what I could do before It was time to take Katie home for a nap. Katie ate lunch when we got to Moms and I talked with Mom and my Aunt for a bit… Mom said we could wait on the cleaning since It was almost time to head back home anyway. Hopefully I can come by Sunday to help her after church like we had planned last Sunday. Katie pouted a bit before we left but pretty soon we were loaded up and walking towards home. I stopped right before we reached the entrance to our apartments to take a picture of this beautiful tree!
I WAS STARVING by the time we got home! Actually, I had started to get pretty hungry when we left the park. I’ve gotta be sure to get FULLY fueled up before leaving out on walking trips like that! I came straight in the door and took a bite of my Luna Vanilla Almond bar I had leftover from yesterday. IT WAS SO GOOD. I had to rushrushrush to get Katie on the potty, put things away, get her down for nap, nibbled more on the Luna bar, nibbled on watermelon, fixed my SALAD lunch then got ready to make my shake shake shake to go with it.
All set to go! I get to sit down?!! Yipppeee! I sat down, sweating and smelling like sunscreen BUT I GOT TO EAT a yummy salad! I had already nibbled on that Luna bar + watermelon so I could only eat a little bit of my salad so I could drink my fiber shake then put the rest of the salad in the fridge to save my DINNER. I refreshed with a shower and got to lay down for a nap… oh It was nice but I woke up a little hot.

SO what do you do when you have leftover lemons??

JUICE THEM!!! I made a pitcher of lemon + ginger water that is sitting in our fridge chillin. Lemon is goooooood for you! Brad’s actually drank a glass or two of it tonight. Speaking of Brad, he came home from work and cracked the fresh coconut that’s been sitting in the drawer of our fridge! Well, first, we drained the coconut water of course. The result of a juicer and the “meat” of the coconut?????
COCONUT cream AND homemade, fresh coconut SHAVINGS. I loooooove the shavings! I had made some before I went on the cleanse and couldn’t wait to make some more since the other batch went bad due to me only consuming juice and all… do you SEE the GREEN in that photo? Brad stopped by the store after work and GOT ANOTHER WATERMELON. He knows how much I love them, lol.

This evening: ate my salad while preparing the coconut stufffffffff, did a little college work, put my raw oatmeal dessert mess in the freezer, watched Brad cut up the watermelon and taste tested as he chopped and I just finished eating the YUMMY YUMMY raw oat dessert. I still have room for more watermelon!

I can’t WAIT to go grocery shopping with my LOVELOVELOVE tomorrow after he gets off work! ROLL ON FRIDAY, yes! I think my Mom is thinking about keeping Katie Friday evening and for a SLEEPOVER and for all of the usual SATURDAY. That will be nice! I know Katie would LOVE that. She did NOT want to leave Granny’s house today….. heh.

I’m so thankful for my life. I owe it all to my Heavenly Father. I’M THANKFUL FOR BEAUTIFUL, HEALTHY FOOOOOD.

Sushiii

As I was about to go to sleep last night, I was contemplating whether I wanted to exercise the next morning or not. I felt pretty tired from Monday’s and that days exercise so I thought I’d see how I felt this morning. I really wanted to get back into my exercise. I woke up and still felt kindof tired and decided that I would not exercise until I feel like I should. My legs are sore from yesterday’s workout and I AM HAPPPPY about that! My body is still in detox mode even though I’ve started solid food again… plus my systems are still trying to balance so I still need to rest. AND.. going back to bed after breakfast this morning sounded extra, extra loooovely!!!!! I had my raw oat mixture this morning then went back to sleep! Eventually got up and started the usual Mommy routine. Later in the morning I snacked on: WATERMELON, blueberries, seaweed and a date. I bought a big container of blueberries Monday I think? I’m getting low already.. fruit is like CANDY to me now! OH and another small green salad with blueberries, lentils and dressing. While Katie played on the porch, I caught up with the Internet world and did some college work.

Katie had her lunch at the usual time but after my snacking and small salad – I still wasn’t hungry so I waited!!! I didn’t eat until after Katie went down for her nap, I got a shower THEN I was hungry! For my lunch today, I had an awesomesauce salad! I usually have half my salad RAW and the other half with a little boiled (frozen) veggies plus a portion that is sauteed and I did that part in COCONUT OIL. It smelled HEAVENLY. On the side: my usual FIBER shake. Shake, shake, shake!!! Shake ya boooootay!

My favorite greens right now would have to be my GREEN LEAF LETTUCE. The salad was LOADED with greens… just the way I L-L-L-L-LOVE IT! I seriously want to keep eating this way THE REST OF MY LIFE. I ate half of it, put the rest in the fridge then went back to lay down in the bed and took a short nap… felt good but still wanted more rest. The afternoon wasn’t eventful UNTIL BRAD CAME HOME, heh. We all loaded up, went to put money in the bank then stopped at Kroger’s to pick up some oats since we were almost out. Brad got snorkel + goggles for swimming, kettle chips, protein bars, shrimp sauce AND I got a Luna Vanilla Almond bar and a small can of natural, raw almonds. MMMMMMM, can’t wait to get some almond butter too.

I got Katie’s dinner ready and took a few bites of my Luna bar while I also got my dinner items ready! Katie ate while I boiled some chopped okra to add to my leftover salad plus I put some SPROUTS into it along with a bit more greens. Dinner was soooooo good, ESPICALLY with the cosmic cranberry Kombucha!

DESSERT!!!!!!

Mixed up oats, unsweetened almond milk, my FAVORITE PLAIN YOGURT, strawberries, little bit of Luna bar, goji berries, like 3 almonds, tiny bit of chocolate protein powder. Placed into freezer to sit for a while! Brad has been wanting to try to make homemade sushi for a while so he tried it out tonight!

He made it with nori wraps, brown rice, imitation crab and cucumber! Here is my little sample plate…

ISN’T IT ADORABLE?! It was quite tasty, too. Brad bought the shrimp sauce to dip his in but it has ingredients in the sauce that I don’t want to touch…. yes… I am SUPER PICKY about my ingredients now. Ingredient snob, yes. I ate my sample sushi and my tummy enjoyed.

I just finished my chilled oatmeal dessert and now for my HOT TEA WITH TRUVIA! Brad is currently watching S1E1 of Sons of Anarchy. I’m a little interested… but only a little… I MIGHT be taking Katie to the park in the morning since we haven’t been in a long while and that will give me exercise and sunshine for the day PLUS Katie will HAVE A BLAST I am sure. CAN’T WAIT FOR FRIDAY and the WEEKEND!

p.s. – seems my digestive system is really starting to crank up since ive been um.. expelling plenty! TMI but that makes me super happy, LOL!

Hanging around

Today has been a hanging around kindof day. No real big events or anything…
This morning before I got to my exercise, I put this little pre-workout cup together with a side of DATE!

I did 15 minutes on the treadmill this morning, followed by about 15 minutes on the Wii Active. I had ANOTHER little cup of oats but this time I added unsweetened almond milk and some chocolate protein powder… mm!!! Refreshed with a shower then sat down to watch the latest episode of my indulgence show… Secret Life! SHHHHHH – I love the High School drama, hah. Plus, hello, Ricky is eye candy.

Summary of today: Katie played on the porch this morning while I fiddled online then got worked on some college work. Eventually, we ate lunch. I had my leftover salad from last night’s dinner and It was good! Oh and of course my side item: fiber shake! Today I added chocolate protein powder to it. Once Katie was down for nap a bit later, I fixed my hair and put a facial clay mask on. LOVE THOSE. Washed that off and eventually went to lay down since I was tired. I slept for a bit and wanted to sleep more but had to get up and do the usual afternoon routine! Brad came home around the usual time but he’s been tired and quiet all evening… so we’ve just been hanging around. You know I made a SALAD for dinner….

I realllllly am liking avocado! I think it’s fun to create different salads.

In between my meals, I’ve snacked on Nori, lots of WATERMELON and blueberries! and I also had a small snack salad this morning. If I keep eating watermelon like I have today then there won’t be any before Friday, lol. IT IS SO GOOD. TMI – I finally “HAD TO GO” last night for the first time since ending my cleanse! In fact, more than once.. or twice. I hope I can KEEP things MOVING. Just gotta keep up with lots of fiber!

You know I gotta have oatmeal and yogurt mess for dessert. You should know this!!! =)

NOT TOO CLOSE… I’ve got a knife! ;P In the mix: raw oats, plain yogurt, little mixed berries- blueberry, strawberry, goji berry, splash of unsweetened almond milk and LOTS OF CINNAMON!!! plus some chiiiiiiiia seeds. I think I could live off oatmeal. Raw or cooked. I kindof prefer raw tho. *Nod*

Well, gonna chomp on this delicious dessert, eventually fix my hot herbal tea and also watch the latest episode of Extreme Makeover: Weight Loss Edition! I LOVE to hear stories of weight loss. LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT.

Juicy!

Happy Monday !!!! I started back into my exercise today, wooohooooo! Also, when you come off a juice fast (especially a 24 day one!), you need to start with light foods and small portions. Well, I got the light food right but my portions have been bigger than they should of been on Saturday and Sunday. I don’t want to stretch my stomach back out so I was being careful with watching my portions today.

I had the same small portion snack pre and post-workout! Some oatmeal, fruit and a little yogurt. I got a nice little bath afterwards then got ready to get Katie up. I snacked on some fruit later in the morning while I finished reading my chapter for college this week until finally lunch time rolled around for both of us! She had an egg sandwich. I had a small salad with my supplement/psyllium husk/flaxseed/unsweetened almond milk shake!

Katie got to play on the porch for just a bit longer then went down for her nap. She actually didn’t give me any trouble… thank goodness. I have felt good all day! I didn’t take a nap this morning and was a little tired but in a diff way, if that makes sense?! I figured I would take a nap though while Katie was down and wound up sleeping for 2 HOURS! Wowie. Eventually got up and Katie too. I had turned the A/C back on so I didn’t let her back out on the porch but thankfully she didn’t make a fuss and just played with her toys. It was past time for Brad to come home and I was wondering where he was?!! He usually comes home around 5:40-6pm but It was like 6:15 and he finally came home! He had taken a little trip afterwards… hehe and GOT A SURPRISE for meeeeeeee!!
My FAVORITE Kombucha drink and a key lime pie Larabar! Awwww. That was so sweet and thoughtful of him!!! He said he might surprise me one day! Heh. I love him bunchies. I told him we needed to go back out again though, lol. I fixed Katie’s dinner then got her situated while I also started on my salad dinner!! It was a big salad so I only ate half and saved the rest for lunch tomorrow.
We headed out to the store to pick up pull-ups, swim pull-ups and a ring floatie for Katie, a big container of BLUEBERRIES for me, green leaf lettuce, romaine lettuce, Brad got some bread for him + Katie, brown rice & imitation crab meat (since Brad wants to make homemade sushi), WATERMELON and a mango for Brad. Once we came home, I fixed my dessert oatmeal/yogurt mess then put it in the freezer for just a little bit then started to munch on it.
Next up, while still eating on my dessert, I watched Brad cut up our juicy, fresh, red watermelon!!!!! I took sample bites… nomnomnom. Now we have a whole fridge of awesomeness to snack on for the rest of the week!
I might of had another small bowl of it not long ago… heh. OH and Brad had a veggie souffle (sp?) for dinner that he picked up when he went to Whole Foods today and I got a few bites of it. IT WAS SO GOOD. We will have to try more of their souffles.

I think I’ll just pitch a tent and live in the center of Whole Foods. I love my healthy foooooooods!!! Well, I’m not that sleepy so I’m gonna stay up a bit longer to get some other things accomplished since the Internet has been dragging all day long and I didn’t get to do various things I had planned to so off I go! It’s been a good day. Thankful for all my blessings.

Summer Sunday

Happy Sunday evening!!!!!!! We went to bed around 1AM, my eyes were exhausted from the pool chlorine from swimming but I wasn’t really sleepy! I managed to fall asleep though.

We woke up this morning and got ready to go to church. I made some protein strawberry oatmeal that was so very, very good. I have TOTALLY missed oatmeal. Plus, check out the cute pic of Katie before church… heh.


I had so much fun at church! I taught three 8 year olds in my class by myself today and I really enjoyed it. This one little girl I teach reminds me of myself when I was her age. Very, very tan. Loves swimming and being barefoot. SHE IS SOOOOOO SMART. It amazes me how much she knows about The Gospel. Always wants to answer and HAS an answer. She has memorized lots of scriptures. She is an amazing little girl. They all are!

After church, Katie was super tired and It was apparent with whining and red eyes. I actually had a little bit of leftover oatmeal waiting for me in the fridge when I got home, YUM. I got busy next with this delicious lunch. I am really, really enjoying my random salads.

The mix was quite interesting but WOW, it was GREAT. I even let Brad have a bite of my random combo and he liked it!

Katie eventually went down for nap and I called Mom because I was supposed to walk over and help her clean house… but when I called her, she was sick so we held off on the meet-up today. BOO. I was all dressed in workout clothes and sunblock with nowhere to go. I fiddled online for a while then decided to get the most out of the sun today by……. going to our apartment complex pool and sitting by the pool to tan. I listened to my music, doodled in my notebook and talked to a guy who came to swim that we also talked to Saturday. I stayed out there for about an hour! I ventured home and Katie was awake but I needed some fuel so I made the quickest, best thing –

This went down pretty quick. Katie got up, ate, played and then it started to rain and we got a smidge of a storm. Nothing too big this evening. A few hours after my smoothie, I decided it was time for my dinner salad.
That great thing about the salads is that it’s always so different except for my cabbage, lentils and onions. Those always get a place in my salad!!! I needed a shower after today’s tanning so I refreshed this evening then Brad mentioned my Mom was here? She went to my cousins apartment across the hall though…? I wasn’t sure why! Apparently, she felt better this evening and drove my Aunt over so they could watch the True Blood premiere, lol.

I just finished my oatmeal-yogurt mess for dessert! I went back for a little more raw oats and plain greek yogurt. I’m trying to not eat too much but I’m also trying to get full enough! Still working on that balance since breaking the juice cleanse. Also, still haven’t had my 1st “movement” from the colon yet since starting solid food Saturday. Should be interesting….

Time to relax, drink my hot tea and read my college e-book chapter for this upcoming school week!

Solid FOOD

First off…… I woke up and got on the scale to find I’d lost 2 pounds this week!! Between the anti-Candida diet I started before the cleanse and on the juice cleanse – altogether I’ve lost 21 pounds in 5 weeks!!!! And only 11 more pounds until my GOAL WEIGHT. My body is really trimming down again and I am beyond stoked. So, I’m on a MISSION with my blog. You will see LOTS more pictures. I will try to make my blog more enteraining and not so bland, repetative and BORING.

What an amazing Saturday we’ve had!!!!!!!!!! Today was the day. My first solid food!! Here’s what I put together after I weighed myself this morning for my FIRST small plate’o goodies.

strawberries, blueberries (which were SUPER sweet to my taste buds), a DATE (I’m in love…) and a nibble of seaweed (Brad had bought some and we both love it)

After getting Katie up and situated with her breakfast, I jumped right to my smoothie!

amazon chocolate supplement powder, jillian’s natural triple chocolate shake protein powder, psyllium powder, unsweetened almond milk and also took my probiotic pill! It was pretty tasty.

We dropped Katie off at Moms and talked to her before heading back home so I could CLEAN house!! Brad helped me by vacuuming the house – excellent!! Next up, LUNCH!!! I made a giant, epic salad!

Let me see If I can remember what went into this… cabbage, boiled cut okra, onion, lentils, alfalfa&radish sprouts, spinach, avocado, celery, half a cucumber and the organic dressing! It was great!! I could only eat about half though.

I asked Brad if he wanted to go SWIMMING once I was done cleaning and eating so that’s what we did. We had a blast and I got to soak up some SUN. I want to get as tan as I was last year so we will be swimming lots now that my cleanse is over! We swam for about an hour and a half then decided to get out and go back home to wash off then get ready to head out. I took a few bites of my leftover salad before we left. Brad had gotten some coupons from work for a few different places and one of them was SMOOTHIE KING! Earlier this week, I went online and picked out which one I wanted already. I picked the low-carb chocolate and they add protein powder! In fact, 39g of protein and only 3g sugar! We headed out to our destination and got ALL the way out there and they were closed for re-modeling… whaaaaaat. I was disappointed but we tried to find the next closest one and didn’t know exactly how to get there but used Brad’s cellphone navigation program to help us but Brad got very frustrated to say the least. He was tired, his contacts were bugging him, it started pouring rain out of nowhere (BUT I SAW A RAINBOW even when he had just yelled at me…. haha) but eventually we found the road we were supposed to be on but wound up going in the opposite direction so had to turn around. After driving a little ways the other way… we found it! By the time we got there, it had cleared up. Obviously, just look at the clouds in the sky!

I got my planned smoothie and Brad got a medium of one of the energizing smoothies. I can’t remember the name though. Mine was excellent!!!! We attempted to navigate our way towards home and did quite well. We had a little over 30 minutes before we had to head back and Brad wanted to check out a Japanese grocery store he had researched that was nearby.
It was pretty neat! I FINALLY FOUND BURDOCK ROOT! We had searched various stores looking for it before I started my juice cleanse and could never find it…. we did tonight! I bought the precooked kind. Brad got some noodles and chop sticks. Very interesting little place.

We headed back to pick Katie up then Brad bathed her and put her to bed! I went ahead and made my dessert and put it in the freezer to chill out! I wanted to eat the rest of my salad so I heated it up in a skillet and added a tiny bit of Brad’s noodles plus the burdock root to it. Oh, it was good. The noodles were a little spicy but… I like, I like!

In the mix: the rest of my low-carb chocolate smoothie, oatmeal, plain greek yogurt, GOJI BERRIES, blueberries, flaxseed, psyllium powder, sprinkle of chia seeds and my lovely, lovely cinnamon.

My tummy is in heaven. Deffo FULL. I just wonder what’s going to happen as far as bowel movements… hm. Guess I will just have to wait and see. I’m feeding my body LOTS of goodies though! I feel good right now and hope I can sleep wonderfully tonight since I haven’t the last 5 nights or so.

EEK. It’s getting close to 11pm and I still haven’t put my lesson together for the kiddies at church tomorrow. My teaching partner isn’t gonna be there so I will have to do it alone – BUT I know I’ll do just fine. Thankful for this day and everything Heavenly Father has given me. I’m thankful for so much… including the juice cleanse that I went through! THANKFUL for wonderful healthy food that I want to eat the rest of my life. God is good. Life is great!

Super epic!

The day has FLOWN by… it’s already 11pm!!!!!! Here’s a summary of my awesome, awesome DAY!

my childhood friend DID come to hang out!!!
– wow. i seriously had SO. MUCH. FUN. we just kept talking and talking and… talking! i didn’t want her to leave but she had to get back to put her baby girl down for her nap. katie got to stay up an hour later before her nap this evening since they were visiting. i love my bestie and i am so happy we live pretty close to one another now. hopefully we can get close again and i can have a close girlfriend! we have SO MUCH in common it’s unreal but SO awesome. yes, i’m using the word AWESOME a lot. that about sums up how i’ve felt today!

THE LAST DAY ON THE JUICE CLEANSE!
– i’m so thankful i made the decision to cleanse my body with the juice fast. i’m so thankful i made it 24 days without solid food and rid my body of lots of colon plaque that had built up in the walls plus all the bad bacteria that RUINED MY LIFE in 2010. i’m nervous about eating food again but beyond ecstatic about it TOO. it’s going to taste better than ever. my stomach is really small now and i’m gonna keep it that way. i will get full so fast! the nutrients are gonna absorb better than they ever have, i imagine. if your new to my site and wondering why i did a 24 day veggie juice fast — short story: i suffered hell in 2010 and didn’t know why but just recently realized the bad bacteria had taken over the good in my intestines so i decided to take the hardcore approach to fixing it. i’ve said this before… it has not been easy. between the hunger pains, detox symptoms, colon cleanouts and all the INTERESTING and vile, stinky matters that come with that (but it was also grossly fascinating…) it took all my willpower to keep moving forward. i would of only had 6 days left to go all the way to 31 days like i had hoped to but i just think it’s time to stop. i have so much more appreciation for my body and for VEGGIE AND FRUIT JUICES! i will probably think ive landed in paradise when i eat food tomorrow, lol. I WILL BE in my own paradise FOR SURE. i remember a time when every morsel of food i put into my body tasted beyond words and i’m looking forward to that again AND KEEPING IT THAT WAY.

we dropped katie off at moms like we usually do on a friday evening so we could go shopping FOR ALL MY WONDERFUL FOODS for my first week with solid food again! i’m going really light for now. it was storming off and on the whole time we were out and about. we stopped by Old Navy, which, was out of usual way so we got a little lost but found it! in able to partake in the sale i wanted to – i had to be a card member… boo. oh well! we looked around then tried to navigate back towards walmart and whole foods. it was a little later than usual so we went to whole foods FIRST instead of last. usually save the best for last, lol. at whole foods I got: goji berries!, dates!, alfalfa/radish sprouts, oragnic dijourn balsamic dressing, little sleeve of chia seeds, avocado, my lovely KOMBUCHA, my awesome plain live culture yogurt then @ wal-mart… jillian’s natural PROTEIN POWDER, cinnamon (OMG I HAVE MISSED CINNAMON), frozen veggies, fresh veggies, BERRIES, fresh cabbage, GREENS, my beloved unsweetened almond milk and some LENTILS!!! after we came back home with katie, brad put her to bed while i put away groceries, started chopping/cooking some foods, started a load of laundry and finally made my tea! i haven’t been sitting down long but you know… today i have felt really good.

I dunno If I can sleep tonight with being so excited about weighing-in in the morning AND getting up to finally put something solid into my mouth! I’m gonna nibble on some berries in the morning WHILE I MAKE AN EPIC PROTEIN/FRUIT SMOOTHIE!!!!!! I probably won’t be able to drink much since my stomach is probably as small as it can get. I WILL NOT STRETCH IT OUT. I WILL NOT. I spent 24 days without food, lol no way I’m gonna waste the cleansing I’ve done. That has been the whole point. Katie will spend the day with Mom tomorrow just like we do every Saturday. I’m gonna clean house, eventually get my talk ready for church and we might make our way to SMOOTHIE KING since Brad got a free coupon for a small shake from work for each of us!! I’ve already got my smoothie picked out!!

I’m seriously so happy. I am becoming the person I was before my health came crashing down and I am utterly amazed and THANKFUL for my Heavenly Father. I’ve waited so long to feel good again. To feel that ALIVE as I once did. To feel that utter peace and JOY I did. I’m going in that direction… now to get back into exercise and tone this body UP while eating some EPIC healthy foods!!!!!! HELL. YEAH!!!!!! I’m ready to LIVE IT UP! I will take care of my body and feed it when I am hungry. I didn’t do that in early 2010… I would get so hungry and I was doing INTENSE exercise every day. I’m not doing that again, ever. I will fuel and take precious care of the temple that is my body… BALANCE BALANCE BALANCE !!!!!!!

I encourage everyone to do a juice fast. OR ATLEAST drink pure fruit/veggie juice from a JUICER. it’s so healthy for you.

Decision

I’m STOKED for tomorrow and the weekend!!!!!!!!!!! My BEST FRIEND since childhood, who I haven’t seen since I was 11… is coming to hang out with me tomorrow!! She has a baby girl too so we’re hoping to meet up and go hang out at the local park. I CANNOT WAIT. She and her sister have always been like my sisters and we tried to keep in touch over the years but you know how that goes. Well, now that I’m back in the area where I grew up and close to them, hopefully we’ll be really close again!!!

It was raining this morning when Brad left for work. I went and got back in bed eventually to sleep a bit more before time to get Katie up. She played with her toys this morning since the porch was wet. She did overall good. She had lunch, played then went down for nap. I did a colon cleanout then laid down some more. Brad came home, we loaded up to go buy a few groceries. Oh and I got a natural energy drink! It was pretty good. We came back so I could feed Katie then…… I walked over to visit Mom! Brad stayed at home with Katie while she played on the porch this evening since It wasn’t raining anymore. My Mom and Aunt weren’t home ???? Come to find out (20 minutes later) that they were playing bingo at the front office at the apartments. I found them and watched them finish the game and Mom + Cathy won like 5 prizes, lol. They stole the show!! We walked back and I talked to Mom for a while then my Aunt walked with me back home. Here I am! About to drink my hot tea. It’s been a good day.

Well, since the last handful of nights I’ve had really uncomfortable hunger pains and that has caused so much sleep trouble for me – I am ending the juice cleanse on Saturday! After I weigh in, I will have a protein SMOOTHIE. First will be smoothies, unsweetened almond milk, yogurt, berries, flaxseed, salads, greens, veggies. Then I’ll introduce more items as I go on. I cannot believe I will have gone 24 days without solid food after tomorrow! I was so close to going 31 days but I just feel like It’s time to stop. 24 days for a first time juice cleanse is a LONG TIME. I’m so excited I stayed with it for that long. As I stated before, I will still do smaller cleanses every now and then. Veggie and fruit juice will be in my diet always!!!!!!!!!!! I will try to take the best care of my body as possible.

My greatest wealth IS MY HEALTH!!!! I’m so thankful for this cleanse. For my Heavenly Father. FOR MY LIFE!

Attack!!!!

I’ve been having a harder time getting to sleep when I go to bed. I think it’s because now my mind is so clear that I’m constantly thinking about exciting things, lol. That’s a great sign. Well, except for not being able to fall asleep in a short period of time like usual.

DAY 22 OF THE CLEANSE! Speaking of 22… I love the number 22. A month from now will make 8 YEARS since I met that handsome man I call my Husband. Wowie.

This afternoon, after Katie got up, I clicked a link from my twitter and wound up with a virus that would not STOP or go away no matter what I did. I am pretty good with computers and getting rid of viruses but this one was eating my computer! I ran my anti-virus, tried this and that. A chunk of my stuff WENT MISSING and I couldn’t do much of anything. It was annoying. I fiddled with it until Brad came home then he looked at it and restarted in safe mode so that we could do a system restore. We restored it but my Firefox wouldn’t work… grr. I was afraid I’d lose all my bookmarks but thankfully got my old Firefox to load so I could save my bookmarks and write down my cute add-ons. I had ANOTHER virus invasion like…. a week ago? So my Firefox had been acting funky ever since then anyway so It was time to UNINSTALL then re-install Firefox 5. I hated to do that because of all my passwords but it was necessary. I’m glad I did!!! It’s a lot faster now.

ALSO. My heavenly Synergy Triology drink has been sitting waiting for me since I bought it last Friday. I FINALLY got to taste it’s heavenly taste this afternoon!!!

Computer all better! I’m excited for FRIDAY, SATURDAY and SUNDAY. I’ll spill the DEETS as the days go on, hehehehe. Time for my hot tea and getting ready to watch the season finale of GAME OF THRONES with my lovie. He officially got me hooked.

College

First — WELCOME TO SUMMER!!!!!!!!! Excited since this is my favooorite season! Also, I have TEN DAYS LEFT ON MY CLEANSE. Counting down the days now, woot woot. Definitely will be a new experience to have accomplished in my life.

Today I’ve mostly been working on my college paper! I’m actually excited about working on my assignments. Yes, I’ve always been the type to enjoy learning. I am just glad that Brad and I finally decided to take the plunge back into school to get a higher education for the both of us. In this course, our big assignment is to write a paper that reflects on an overview of our lives. I have been working on the rough draft today and am happy to say that I am done except for re-checking… over and over again, lol. Since I like to review it a million times before I submit it. Class for this week just started today and I am done with all the assignments except for the reading quiz. I just need to submit all my work when I usually do. I like to stay ahead!

Other than college work, Katie has been “pretty” good today. In fact, I was impressed with her behavior when it came to nap time! She usually ALWAYS throws a fit when she knows it’s time to go down for nap but today she went into her room and laid down so I could take off her socks and shoes with no fuss! I rocked and talked to her for a few minutes then laid her down and she actually went to sleep real soon!!! I usually have to go back in there to tell her to go to sleep since she fiddles and messes around forever. However, this evening after Brad got home, she started acting out… as usual. I hope that she will behave until her bed time. Rewinding to this morning, Brad tried to wake me up after his shower but he said I wouldn’t wake up! I eventually woke up about 15 minutes before he had to leave. I had a hard time getting to sleep last night so I guess I made up for it this morning. I usually go back to sleep after Brad leaves for work but this morning I actually stayed up and have been up all day!

It’s been a much better day for me today as far as how I’ve felt. We haven’t done much of anything since Brad got home. He’s currently playing a game and I’m listening to music. It is looking quite cloudy outside so we might get some rain. Totally random but last night, I watched part of a movie Brad was watching on Netflix with our Wii called House of the Devil… what a laugh!!! Yeah, It was really lame. Love Tuesday night since I will be watching the latest episode of Extreme Makeover: Weight Loss Edition!
