You know. I used to dispise yogurt! I remember my Mom used to buy me the Trix yogurt and I would try a bite then throw the rest away. As I’ve gotten older, I’ve found a new fondness to it. Brad started buying yogurt recently with the Dannon Light & Fit. Oooh my! It’s really, really good! I espically love the cherry. I’m having some right now as part of my snack. It has a different taste than the usual yogurts which I really like and It’s got a smooth texture.

The past couple days have been a little bit cooler than the usual 98-100 degree weather. It’s currently 93 and I don’t have the air running! I had it going earlier and got REALLY cold. I get cold easily espically on the not blazing hot days because I drink so much water lol. I got all my laundry done for the week!!!! Usually I take more time with it and get done Wednesday and sometimes Thursday but I went ahead and washed and folded two loads today instead of my usual just one.

I really wish Mom lived closer so I could go visit her more than just once or twice a year. I was hoping she was gonna be able to move down here around August but I dunno if that’s gonna happen because it would be pretty expensive for her and it would be another big, tiring move but I sure do want her to move here.

I can’t believe how loose my rings are getting on my fingers!! Speaking of weight loss. I know when I used to read blogs about people losing weight – I’d be like “PFFT whatever, good for you! I’ll never be able to do that!” And when you get in that state of mind and are overweight It’s hard to see the positive, hopeful side of things espically when stepping forward towards weight loss seems impossible. What did I do differently to motivate myself? I GOT UP and TRIED! Then when I tried.. I kept GOING. That is the MOST important thing ever is to just keep going and never giving up on yourself. A lot of people will get up and try but then give up. You can’t do that If you want it to last and WORK! Now everything is clear to me. That I have to keep going, stay positive and never, ever give up because I BELIEVE in myself. I BELIEVE in staying happy, active and healthy because that means everything to me. I don’t want to sit around and gain weight ANYMORE. I did that for a long time and I REFUSE to let my life slip into that routine again because I feel so alive and happy now. DON’T say you can’t do it !!!! Everyone can do it, It just takes kicking yourself in the butt a little. If you REALLY want to be healthy and active then WHY NOT keep going? I have wanted this for so long for myself and I’m going to MAKE SURE to hang onto this lifestyle.

Oh happy

You know. I can finally say that I am completely happy. For SO LONG I felt so empty inside and in a slump but since I’ve gotten into religion and this new lifestyle I have going, It has really helped me achieve true happiness. It’s incredible because my life used to feel like It wasn’t worth anything. I had to set the wrong things in my life… to the right. That took some getting used to but now that I am where I am today, I would NOT change a thing!!!!!!!!! My life, my family and love mean everything to me.

Ooooh did it feel great to get back on the treadmill today! I felt so much more hyped after I was finished jogging today. It’s great to have the weekend to rest from the exercise but I was more than ready to start a new week of exercise! I really look forward to it because it makes me happy. I’ve had a very busy but very very good day. This morning while Katie played in her crib I started to clean or organize our storage room. The closet in there was a mess since after we moved in, I just basically threw all extra in there. I had about an hour this morning to start out and I got pretty sweaty! Stopped at noon to put Katie down for a nap and then do my exercise plus lunch and shower. Once I fed Katie again then I played with her some then we went back upstairs so she could play in her crib and I could finish the room up. I got done and It doesn’t look too different in the main room but the closet does, you can actually get in there so I’m very happy about that. Katie has been excellent all day which just really thrills me. Speaking of her.. It’s after 8pm so I’m about to have to wrap this up and put her to bed!

We’re having catfish tonight! OOO yum! Same agenda tonight as usual lol… dinner, video games and possibly One Tree Hill! I love just hanging out with my hubby at night.

Short post

Yeah, this is gonna be a short post because I’m tired and dinners cooking.

Church went great!! Katie was overall good and I taught in the women’s meeting today for the last time for a while, yay! This afternoon has been pretty lazy and man, I can’t wait for dinner and some good sleep later tonight.

What’s in store for tonight? Dinner. One Tree Hill. Interwebz. Possibly some video games AND my favorite.. SLEEP!!!!

Dinner last night was so so SO good! Stuffed chicken breast, asparagus and steamed veggies! We didn’t go to bed till about 1AM then I kept waking up throughout the night about 3 times. I checked my watch one time and It was 5:45AM! I was anxious about my weigh-in. I woke up again at 8AM and decided to go ahead and weigh myself. HERE WE GO! Get the scale down and stepped on…. I lost … 5 POUNDS! YEAH!!! I knew It had to be SOMETHING because I worked my ass off this week! SO EXCITED!!!!@!$@#@ I now have LOST more than I need to lose! 40 down, 36 to go! That is a moment I’ve been waiting for – for a long time!! 10 more pounds and I will have LOST 50 POUNDS! So incredible!!! Tried to lay back in bed since Brad doesn’t get up till 9AM but couldn’t go back to sleep so I went ahead downstairs to post on my livejournal then cook my breakfast! Day has been pretty good except Katie was crabby earlier today but she was excellent tonight. I did my usual and cleaned the downstairs this morning and then the upstairs this afternoon then finished by sweeping and mopping the downstairs! Also got to talk to Mommy on the phone! Hmmmmmmmmm I think tonight I’m gonna play Sonic 2 a little then watch the 1st episode of SEASON 3 of One Tree Hill!!! HAHA Dan deserved to be poisoned and his dealership set on fire for all the BS he has pulled. I think he is the most ass faced characters I’ve seen on a show before.

Can’t wait for my lovie to get home so we can hang out and eat dinner!!!

Full speed ahead!

Today was kindof an off track day… we were gonna get our “new” pilates performer from a friend but wouldn’t be till later in the day so most of the morning was spent doing nothing which is highly ODD for me! I actually got to lay around on the couch !!!!!!!!!!!! This afternoon we went grocery shopping and I have to put a grin on my face because I bought a size 14 shorts! I needed a new pair since my size 19 pair almost fall completely off to me now LOL. What else what else! Ummm just the usual shopping and I take a look at our cart now and am so proud to see everything we buy is pretty healthy!!! BIG difference from years ago! We bought apricots, strawberries and raspberries! We went down the ice cream isle and I found some creamsicle pops that are only 20 calories a piece… um YEAH IN THE CART! lol. Awesomeness. Can’t wait to eat one! Bought some mushrooms to go into my salad and for other random meals – for instance tonight with our chicken! Picked up some crystal light packs to go into my water. I got the energy ones in wild strawberry! They were out of the bread that I really love.. Sara Lee 45 calorie delight 100% whole grain, boooooooo so I just picked up the whole wheat with honey. After we got back from shopping, I put Katie down for a nap then Brad got directions to the womans house that was giving us the pilates machine! He went and picked it up then brought it home and set it up! I got into my workout clothes after I ate my snack and did some exercise. Ooooh I’m pretty sure I’ll be sore in the morning! It’s a really nice little machine and I don’t want to get off of it!!! I did get a little sweaty – nothing like the treadmill but atleast I got some sweat out of it! I did a little bit of exercise then a little later did some more. Put Katie to bed, took a shower and now I’m cooking our late dinner!

PS – Brad bought me Sonic 2 on the Wii !!!!!!! I LOVED LOVED LOVED that game as a child! Would spend hours playing it! I know what I’ll be doing tonight :)

Just fun

Title says it all! Today was just fun!! Totally more fun than I thought It was going to be! I rocked it on the treadmill this morning and did just as much as I did Tuesday – 3.6 miles and 607 calories! Did the usual this morning and then after I fed Katie then fixed my hair we headed out to go eat at Brad’s Grandparents house. It was definetly freeing having Brad’s Mom & Grandparents watch after Katie while I went outside to play badminton with Brad and his younger sisters! It was hot outside but SO! MUCH! FUN! I got all sweaty again haha so an extra on the exercise. I tried to consume more water today since I did a lot of exercise. As for dinner, I did my best at picking and choosing. I had 2 skinless chicken legs, small servings of fried okra, cream corn, beans, cole slaw and a potatoe slice with cream of chicken on it and 2 big slices of DELICIOUS cantelope! There was cake for dessert but I passed since I didn’t want to take that temptation! Hah! Katie seemed to be well behaved the whole time so that’s great. It was almost 8pm when we finally decided to get ready to head home since we needed to get home and get Katie in bed and I needed to wash off from getting sweaty, again. Made the journey home, gave Katie some milk and put her to bed. Got a nice little shower then fixed my snack since I hadn’t had that today. Usually it’s snack then late dinner but today was opposite! Now I’m sitting here typing this about to watch some MOAR… ONE TREE HILL! I’m on the final episode of the 2nd season!

In the midst of our visit to Brad’s Grandparents today I heard the sad news! Micheal Jackson in cardiac arrest and then a bit later heard about his death. Then earlier today the death of Farrah Fawcett.. may they both rest in peace.

Tomorrow we get another piece of exercise equipment to add to our small gym we have going! SO EXCITED! Super yay!!!!!!!! Also, my body feels light! I feel awesome. Insert happy sigh and cue more OTH!!

Fuss

Katie’s been fussy all day long.. ugh. I know she’s just a baby and yadda yadda but I just want to pull out my hair when she just whines and fusses on and on. Currently she’s taking a nap, woohooo!!!

Trying to think of something to do tomorrow! Would love to go back swimming again but I guess we’ll see. Definetly want to get OUT of the house since I spend all other time IN it. Uhhhh I have absolutely nothing to blog about. I watched some more One Tree Hill last night but that’s nothing new, lol. I finished washing, folding and putting away the rest of the laundry! How’s that for some excitement? Haha.

I am super happy that it’s summer though. My favorite season and I actually have a bit of a tan this summer which makes me excited! Got my watch tan line back LOL. I blogged a while ago about my rings getting loose? Well now their even more so! Both of these rings are on my ring fingers and I can wear both of the rings now on my middle finger but I’ll leave them on the ring finger. Just gotta start to be careful because If I keep losing weight I’ll be like Brad and have my ring sling off everytime I throw something lol.

Burn baby burn!

Yes!!! Today I got on the treadmill and did an hour and did more miles and burned more calories than I have in just one hour! I did over 3.6 miles and burned 605 calories! My right foot is sore but I feel FANTASTIC! I already feel slimmer with doing a little more exercise so far this week and with cutting back a couple hundred calories!

Nothing eventful has happened today… Brad and I watched the movie Shutter last night! We were hoping it wouldn’t be terrible like the movie Grudge and It actually wasn’t half-bad! Espically since hottie Josh Jackson is in it! Tonight it’s back to watching One Tree Hill!

I’m currently snacking on some almonds and water while listening to Maroon 5 and just relaxing until It’s time to feed Katie D some dinner. I’m so proud of Brad because he’s #9 as far as agents go at his work!! Also very proud of him because he’s been drinking a lot of water lately! That makes me super happy and I know it makes him feel better overall.

My day has been good, don’t feel quite as elated as I did yesterday lol but I feel quite good. The end!

Overjoyed

Whooooooops! I forgot to write an entry yesterday! I meant to but then last night I got busy watching… yup you guessed it ONE TREE HILL online and then I looked at the clock and It was past midnight so I said ah well.

Church went very well yesterday and Katie wasn’t too much of a hassle. After church, Brad was going to visit his Dad for Father’s Day so he took me and Katie home, fixed the air conditioner in the truck then he headed out! I spent the afternoon relaxing and watching OTH! Katie must feel a little bad or something because she slept from 2-5pm!!! I got her up then fed her and let her play. Brad didn’t get home till 6pm I think. He didn’t get to see his Dad because he had just left not long before Brad got there for work but he left him a letter and card. Last night for dinner we had a DELICIOUS mushroom and swiss cheese stuffed chicken breast last night, It was so good!

Brad and I have been trying to help Katie with walking by trying to get her to stand without holding onto anything and she’s really scared. We’ll keep trying with her and hopefully she’ll take her first step soon!

I have been so pumped today!! It felt AWESOME to get back on the treadmill today and I can jog for longer periods of time now which is soooo amazing to me. I’ve had this upbeat spirit all day and I LOVE IT. I think this week is gonna be a definite good one. Oh yes, Juliet, thanks for the tips! I was thinking about that myself on reducing calories. I usually get around 1,600 calories or so and SO yesterday I tried out the new deal. Got around 1400 calories! I weighed myself Saturday and Sunday morning and same weight BUT this morning I weighed again and lost 2 pounds! OOOOO. Can’t wait to see what it’ll be Saturday and I have a good feeling! I woke up this morning at 7:30AM and had to pee SO BADLY! I drank a bit of water before bed so yeah, lol. SPEAKING OF EXERCISE! The lady from church who gave me the exercise bike emailed me today about another piece of equipment that shes offering to give me! It’s a pilates performer! HECK YES I’m gonna take it!!!!!!!!!! I’m so stoked to get it and try it out!

This Monday is FTW!

No change

*Sigh* This morning I found out I lost no weight this week so that means I haven’t lost any weight in 2 weeks. Some people say keep going and I’ll start to lose again but just makes me wonder WHY I haven’t lost in 2 weeks??? I tried different things both weeks with exercise and got the same result. I’ll just keep going and see what happens. Gonna change a little on my eating and do a different exercise routine this week and see what I get. I mean, I’d like to still lose MORE and not just maintain. It gets me a little frustrated but I know I just gotta hang in there. OH and we also think the battery might be low on the weight scale so Brad went tonight to buy a new battery and we’ll put that in and I’ll re-weigh myself and If it’s the same, oh well haha.

Cleaned up the house today and feels so nice to get that done! Ehhhh nothing else to blog about. Cooking some dinner right now and waiting on Brad to get back from the store then eventually gonna watch more…. you guessed it……. ONE TREE HILL !!!!!!!!!!!! I’m gonna have a OTH marathon day tomorrow after church. Sounds EXCELLENT to me! Mwahaha! Have a good weekend!
