Awesome concert!

THE NICKELBACK CONCERT WAS SO SO SO AWESOME!!!!

Brad’s Mom drove us up there and let us out and we stood in a long line that surpisingly started to move pretty fast. It wasn’t too hot outside either and there was a bit of a breeze. Perfect!!! I guess It was about 6:30PM when we made our way inside the building. Course there was lots of merchandise and things for sale. Was gonna see about getting a tshirt.. glance over and tshirts are $45-50.. ?!?!?! WTF?!!! So much for buying a t-shirt! We go into the arena and our seats are up high but not TOO high. We actually had decent seats!! Of course there was the people who got the standing-on-the-floor seats and then there were actually FLOOR seats. The rest of the seats were rising seats, like at the movie theatre. We sat around until 7PM when Hinder started the concert! They were… okay. You could tell they were new to the whole live scene. Their equipment wasn’t as good as others and It was more power over voice so you had to really listen to hear what he was singing. After Hinder, they removed their set then came Chevelle! They were goooood. I like those guys. You could tell a lot of people in the arena either didn’t like or didn’t know Chevelle though. I sung along though!!!! :) NEXT CAME HOOBASTANK!!!!! Dah, they were AWESOME too!! Their good live! They had lights that would shine on the backwalls and It would have some pretty pattern. AWESOME. They did quite a lot of songs, old and new. Once Hoobastank was done, they cleared off the stage and all that was there was a big black backdrop. Intermission. A really long one. About 30 minutes. It was about 9:40 and Brad asked me If I thought they would wait till 10… I said probably. SO MANY PEOPLE. The floor where people were standing was just about full. Out of NOWHERE, all of a sudden there was this loud BANG! The big black backdrop fell and THERE WAS NICKELBACK!!!

THERE ARE AWESOME LIVE! Their equipment was awesome, too. They had a pretty big screen put up to where we could see the band members up close! AWESOME. They did new and old stuff, bit of everything from every album of theirs. They had some guys catapult FREE NICKELBACK THINGS into the audience. Later on, they also threw beer into the crowd, lol. LOVED THE LIGHTS, FIRE, FOG and of course the big BANGS! :D LOL, I actually GOT UP AND DANCED and actually sweat quite a bit. It was so fun though!! I sang to every song I knew from all the bands and IT WAS GREAT!!!!!!!! I SCREAMED a lot with Nickelback. It was SO LOUD. I would definetly recommend to go see Nickelback live coz they PUT ON ONE HELL OF A SHOW! Their drummer did a drum solo and he did an AMAZING job. OHHH and you know the song “Photograph” ??? Well, they actually HAVE PHOTOGRAPHS from their lives that go along with that song and we got to see them!!! Their IS actually a funny photograph that goes with the lines “look at this photograph, everytime I do It makes me laugh” Was really cool!!! We didn’t get out of there until midnight! Didn’t get home until after 1AM and I was STARVING and sooooo thirsty by the time we got home. Brad stayed up for a bit then went to bed and I stayed up, ate some hot wings then eventually went to bed since I was SO TIRED.

Brad went with his Mom and Stepdad to get his drivers license and tag changed from Mississippi to Alabama. I could have went to try for my permit but.. meh. I think Brad tried to wake me up this morning but I was so tired that I barrrely remember him telling me he was leaving. He’s been gone alllll day. He said he should be home by 5pm. MY FAVORITE FAVORITE SHOW BONES WITH MY FAVORITE HOTTIE DAVID BOREANAZ STARTS TONIGHT AT 7PM AND I CANNOT WAIT!!!!!!!!!!!! :grinny: Sooo we’ll probably go over and eat supper at Brad’s Moms and watch BONES!

WOOT.

Concert, EEE!

First off – NEW LAYOUT. And as for the person who claimed I copied ohgoodness.org’s style, wtf? K so I can’t use TABLES as well and make a cute little navigation either? PFFT. Is it the same color or font? NO. Is anything the same colors as hers? NO. It took me quite a while to really get a nice layout out of this picture. I had it really simple at first and I HATED IT. I wanted an actual background and to make it more colorful so I had to mess with it for 2 days and I finally came up with this! :) NICKELBACK TICKET!WOOT! THE CONCERT IS TOMORROW! I cannot WAIT. (click the image of the ticket to see it bigger) Brad’s Mom is gonna take us there and pick us up afterwards since It’ll probably be pretty late once It’s over and Brad has a tendency to almost FALL ASLEEP at the wheel late at night so that’s why his Mom is taking and picking us up. I’m hoping to get to buy a t-shirt of one of the bands but which t-shirt to get is gonna be my
issue, haha. Brad’s Mom said we can use their binoculars If we wanted so that we could get an up-close look at all the bands and all so I think we will take them! Well.. in not-so-happy news, Friday afternoon I went into the extra room with all the animals and sat on the floor to talk to my hamster Cookie. Cookie bearWhen you talk to her, she’ll stand up and sniff the air as If she knows your talking to her. She did that when I talked to her then she walked around her tank a few times then she went and layed in the corner and I knew It was her time… I got up and went into the living room and told Brad that I was pretty sure Cookie was passing on. He gave me a sad look and by the time we got back in there, she was gone. We cried and cried.. we loved our Cookie bear. She was over 2 years old so she lived a pretty long hamster life. I hope she was happy. R.I.P my little Cookie bear. 8/25/2006 Our lives will never be the same without you my little bear. I miss her so much already. :upset:

EXCITED

WOOOOOT. :grinny:

I have some exciting random news!! First off, Brad’s Mom found her copy of Windows XP and let me install it, LOL I’ve had Win 98 FOREVER and now I finally get to enjoy XP and so far, It’s very nice. YAY XP, finally!!!!!! :D
Next.. the other day, we had mentioned to Brad’s Mom that Nickelback is going to be in Tupelo at the end of August. WELL GUESS WHAT?! SHE BOUGHT BRAD AND ME TICKETS TO GO SEE NICKELBACK, HINDER, HOOBASTANK AND CHEVELLE ON AUGUST 29TH! OMG! My first REAL concert! I’m really excited. I love ALL of the bands. I’m really getting to like Hinder, too! SQUEEEE.
Brad and I went today and bought a thing that goes behind your toilet, a “space saver” that has some shelves on it, if you know what I’m talking about? I’ve been wanting it for a while so I can put our bathroom items on it instead of cramming all of them under the little part under the sink, lol.

AND IT’S THE WEEKEND. Sunday already though?! Sheesh. Brad and I slept all day Saturday haha and we didn’t get up until past 3PM. We went over to Brad’s Moms house and ate soup for din-din and then hung out, watched When Good Pets Go Bad 2 on TV then ended up watching Runaway Jury befored heading back home at midnight.
As soon as we wake up later today, we’ve gotta head onto Wal-Mart to buy our groceries for the week and then in the evening, go over to his Mommy’s house again to watch The 4400 and The Deadzone! Then the weekend will pretty much be over. Has gone by really, really fast! I also need to call and see what my Mommy’s been up to lately!

Okiiiie. Just wanted to share my random news with you guys. Have a great Sunday!!!! :)

Modivation regained

Brad is such a sweetheart. He really, really is. He always has that spark of romantic things he does here and there that just makes me the happiest girlie, ever. Example? Sunday morning, I woke up early because of PMS then came back to bed and went to sleep. He got up a bit later and asked me If I wanted breakfast from somewhere and I said yes. He left and I layed back down and shut my eyes. I think I had almost dozed back off when he came back in with breakfast from Jack’s. YUMMY. I got a sausage biscuit and little tater tot rounds. He got a steak biscuit and tater tot rounds as well. He brought me the food on a plate while I was still in bed. Awwwe. It was ultra sweet of him. He’s a great husband.

I’m so glad I felt more modivated today to get more accomplished in our apartment. I just haven’t felt like doing much of ANYTHING except what I have had to do. This afternoon I went into our extra room where the animals are and went through boxes in there putting all the extra things into one big box and then carrying all the empty and full ones to our little storage room outside. My back was killing me by the time I got all that done. I eventually carried our extra end table out there as well. Cleaned off our coffee table in the living room and polished that down. It’s soooo shiny now!! Once we move the animals, hang some pictures and put down our rug in our bedroom then I’ll take pictures. I’m hoping to get all that done soon!!

I DESPERATLEY want to find a work at home type job. Really, really! Espically If I was able to do some sort of data entry job from home. I have been researching and researching about It but there are so manyyy SCAMS out there and BS advertisements. It’s really frustrating but I am not giving up! My MIL works from home doing transcription so I KNOW I can find some sort of work at home job! I don’t care If they just paid me $100 a week. It’s just something I really want. I want this because I could work from home and that will help us in the future (maybe even in the very short future!) when we have children, I will have the benefit of staying at home with them!

We had a yummy dinner tonight. Brad cooked our little steaks and I cooked us some whole corn. We don’t really eat all that much. We were both stuffed after 3 little steaks and corn. :) In site news.. I will update the cam soon (hopefully) and I also have quite a lot of pictures to upload to the gallery so look for those!!! I must be going now – need to clean the animal cages! Have a great evening and Wednesday! :grinny:

Some updates!

Gasp, I’m actually updating things on this site slowly but surely! :grinny: As you might notice, NEW CAM PIC! Currently was updated not long ago as well. OHHH, I also have a new HOSTEE, Tiffany! (@ radiotrash) It’s nice to be able to help people out by hosting them. I hope you like being with the love-geek family, Tiffany!!! :D

Mmkay. Rewind back to after I posted the previous entry, shall we? We eventually ventured to Brad’s Moms house to go watch Last Comic Standing (yay, JOSH BLUE!) and Brad has DESPERATLEY been wanting a pair of Croc’s (shoes just incase you don’t know what the hell I’m talking about) but he hasn’t been able to even find “fake” Croc’s in his size. Well! Brad’s Mom went online and surprised him Tuesday with a pair of black Croc’s!!! Awwe. I thought, how nice of her. BUT THEN! She brings out a khaki and pink pair of Croc’s and says that I can have whichever color I want. I didn’t expect her to get me a pair, too!!! I mean, Croc’s aren’t a pair of shoes I’ve been DIEING for but hey, their neato. Me, being the most undecisive person on the SIMPLIEST of choices had a hard time choosing between the khaki or the pink. I figured.. I think I want the khaki coooz I’m not a fan of BRIGHT colored shoes plus pink doesn’t go with everything and khaki pretty much does. Khaki is the winner. Check it out…
khaki crocs

Their really, really comfortable!! The squishyness of them makes me even more fond of them, haha. Brad was really happy about his new pair of Croc’s. OH and Brad’s Mom got me a blue jean pair of khaki’s!!! Again, I say I am SO GRATEFUL to her! For all these wonderful things she’s buying for us.

Move along to Wednesday. Brad and I venture off back to the trailor to gather up more of our belongings. We also bring dog food for Abby and her 3 puppies that are still hanging around the trailor since we can’t bring them over here to the apartment. Before we pull in the drive, Brad pulls up by the mailbox and I gather our mail from the previous days and there this and that and then, 2 letters from Brad’s bank. Apparently, at some point when Brad used his debit card to get gas and pay at the pump, they charged him extra err.. something? I don’t know the whole story or even what I’m saying is correct, I just know that last week (I think It was) he got charged $30 for a $6 debit spending. These 2 other letters were MORE charges added onto that $30. So they took about $96 of charges. Ohh boy. Brad was so upset. That’s just STUPID of the bank but hey, as Brad told me, “well, that’s how they make their money.” Needless to say, he was too upset to really help me gather things so I got a few things here and there but I couldn’t get too much coz It was TOO HOT in there. Gosh, I don’t see how we survived in that trailor summer before last without an air conditioner. Sheesh. Brad finally calmed down and realized that things will be okay.

Skip to Thursday. I wake up with Brad.. he gets ready, eats and heads onto work. I eat my breakfast, surf the net a bit then head back to sleep. Woke up around noon and was still a bit tired but MADE myself stay up. I hate that I’m sleeping that late again like I used to. EW. Let Daxter out of his cage to eat then took him outside. Uncovered the birdies and fed Trevis, our iguana. Decided that I really needed to wash my hair.. so I got a quick shower and to freshen up. I was starving by the time I got out so I made myself lunch. I loooove deli turkey breast sandwiches. YUM. After a bit, I dryed and straightened my hair and came back to the puter. Brad was home not too long after that! :)

It STORMED Thursday afternoon. The power went off and on once so I got off the puter for a bit until the storm calmed. Brad played GTA: Vice City and I sat and watched him a little. We finally put down our living room rug!!! It’s lovely! Rugs always make rooms look smaller to me though. I was sitting here Thursday afternoon thinking, hmm, I don’t know If I like this rug, It takes away my ‘HEY this room is a decent size’ thought. We went over to Brad’s Moms house again to watch one of our shows. They had pizzzza! Ate pizza, watched show then headed on home with lots of lightning in the sky but no rain or thunder. Brad’s Mom called once we got home to say that another storm was rolling in. Sure enough! We had not been home long and the thunder, lightning and heavy rain started again. I’m glad though because we really needed RAIN.

Another thing I’m glad about — It’s now FRIDAY. FRIDAY = inching closer to THE WEEKEND. Hell’s yeah. Brad and I need to go grocery shopping. Need to sit down and figure out which bills need to be paid, too. Yucccck. Brad was invited by a guy at his work to go to a party this Saturday. Apparently It’s a swim slash drinking slash whatever type of party. Welllllll, I don’t really wanna swim around a bunch of older men and I’m also not much of a drinker. SO this party just wasn’t for me. I was gonna tell Brad that maaaaybe he should consider not going but I figured, hey, why not let him go. Then today, Brad came home and said that one of the guys at work said there will be a guy at the party who gets violent when drunk so then Brad decided he wasn’t going either. I think that’s for the best though. Brad’s Mom and I both were a bit worried about him going. …What? I can worry, can’t I? Hehe.

I’m hungry right now. My tummy has that empty sickening feeling but I know I shouldn’t eat anything considering It’s almost 1AM. Perhaps I’ll just have a rice krispy treat? I’m addicted to those. THEIR JUST SO GOOD.
Hey, atleast I’m not addicted to something worse…

Delighted.

I’m loving our apartment more and more each day. Same with the DSL!! :) It’s all just been so great – how things have turned out for us. We struggled when we first moved into the trailor with only a few dollars to last us for a while and now, here we are, in this really nice apartment. I’m really proud of us! :grinny:

Yesterday, after Brad got off work, around 5PM we walked to Fred’s dollar store. I needed another bottle of cleaning solution for my amazing Swiffer Wetjet mop! Brad had bought a light bulb for his lava lamp the other day but It wasn’t a strong enough watt so he bought a 40 watt. Also, one day when we were over at Brad’s Moms house, Brad’s youngest sister Lindsey (who is 4) was fascinated by Brad’s harmonica and she wanted one so Brad got her a $1 harmonica while we were at Fred’s. Hehe.

We eventually headed over to Brad’s Moms house to hang out for a bit. Lindsey loved her harmonica! Aww and yesterday was Lindseys first day of pre-school and my MIL recorded her on their little video camera and Brad and I got to watch it. It was sooooo cute. Brad’s 2 other sisters started school today. We just sat and talked for a bit and then Brad’s oldest sister, who is 10, stirred some trouble. Brad tried to talk to her but I dunno. Brad was ready to go home so we got our clothes and headed on home to eat a late supper! Brad’s Grandparents had brought us some leftovers of theirs. We had ham, beans, rolls, potatoes and sweet potatoes. It was all very yummy.

I swear, I could go back to sleep right now.. I’m so sleepy. I shouldn’t be coz I’ve been sleeping all morning haha. I can’t wait for Brad to get homeee! :) Well, I think we’re just about ready to really finish setting up our living room. Brad’s Stepdad still has to come over and help hang our big blinds for our living room window. I mopped the living room really well so now we have to figure out which big rug we’re gonna put down. Also have to see which animals I want in here. Our room is pretty much set up as well.. just need to sweep and mop in there and put a few things away. Our extra room has all the animals in there for now and all the empty boxes and then there are boxes in there with things in them that I need to go through. Our bathroom is GREEN! Heh. Our shower curtain has green leaves on it, our toilet cover and rug are greeeen. Then we have our bathroom mirrow with the fake vine glued to it. I love love it.

Okie. I know this wasn’t really much of a blog but.. eh. I’m gonna go eat some flaming hot cheetos and listen to Angels & Airwaves and surf the web. Laaaater!

Apartment

WOOT! We are now living in our new apartment! I believe Monday night was the first night we actually slept here at the apartment, I think.

Tons of things to talk about. I’m still in the process of setting things up and will be for quite some time. Our apartment is so lovely!!!! :) I’m so happy with it. We’ve got so much more room than we did at the trailor. Much more brighter and the air is clear and crisp. Best of all — we stay cool and not hot all the time anymore!!! :grinny:

Brad’s Mom has been SOOOO awesome to us. She bought me a new pair of pants and a new shirt!!!!!! Here’s a list of awesome stuff she’s bought us: new bookcase, little wooden magazine holder, cute oval coffee table, little picture frame that says “i love you” with a heart, big outside trash can, 2 BIG brand new rugs, grippy material to line the bottom of my kitchen cabinets with, new blinds for our HUGE living room window and LOTS of other things as well!!! I’m so grateful.
Also, Brad’s Grandmas sister was trying to sell her computer desk and recliner. Well, Brad’s Mom bought those from her FOR US! And ironically, the computer desk is IDENTICAL to mine, cept of course it’s pratically BRAND NEW! WOOOT. The recliner is SO COMFY. She said when she first bought that she gave $600 for it!

I’ve just been working and working to set things up. So far, I think I’ve done a great job of organizing and keeping it neat. Thursday was pretty good. Since we’ve been living here, I still get up with Brad and when he goes to work, I eat my breakfast, take care of Dax then go back to sleep for a few hours. Get up, make the bed, take care of the rest of the animals and then I get online for a few to check sites then start setting up the apartment more. That’s basically been my schedule.

Thursday, after Brad came home, we dropped off movies we rented at Movie Gallery then went to Fred’s. Fred’s dollar store is AWESOME. Just plain awesome!!! Brad’s Mom gave us a $25 gift card so I got a Swiffer Wetjet mop, 2 little decorate plants in a pot, fake vines to hang on our bathroom mirror, bought a little container to hold our q-tips, got some 2 liter drinks and a loaf of bread. Earlier tonight, I took the big mirror Mom gave me and Brad hot glued the fake vine to the top of the mirror then hung it in our bathroom! IT’S SO CUTE. I’m so giddy about fixing this place up nicely. CAN’T WAIT to have it all set up!

As for the rest of our belongings at the trailor — we still have to bring over some dishes, shoes, clothes, sheets, blankets, our big bedroom dresser and then everything in our storage room at the trailor but we’ll bring the storage boxes over a little at a time.
Anything else you guys wanna know about it? Once I get the place a little bit more in place I’ll take lots of pictures!

Okiiiiiie time to eat my leftover CHINESE from din-din then maybe a little ice cream! I’m also gonna work more on this site and convert more content pages into WP-pages so look for those updates!!! Hope everyone has an AWESOME weekend!!!!!!! Brad and I are gonna go shopping then Saturday and Sunday his Dad’s side is having a family reunion we’re gonna go to and each day after the reunion, we’re gonna go to the trailor and load more to bring to the apartment! I think I’m gonna try to get back into the habit of posting every day, just maybe!! OH OH OH OH, biggest happy news: WE NOW HAVE DSL!!! It came Wednesday afternoon! I also reformatted my computer and reinstalled before the DSL came so now my puter runs more smoothly and and and.. DSL!!!! WOOT!

DSL OWNS.
