We had a good time at church today! Last hour the women and men’s classes combined for a special meeting so that was cool cause I was with my babe!

Brad had to stay after church and he usually drives us home then goes back, but he said it wouldn’t take that long. *WE SIT AND WAIT AN EXTRA HOUR* I was so hungry it was hurting!!! We made it home, as I hustled to fix mine and Katie’s lunches. It had been off/on gloomy but eventually warmed up and tonight? IT FEELS AWESOME. 62 degrees and our windows are open. I’m loving itttt.

After we got home I worked on my monthly church letters and– WE FILED OUR TAXES! WOOHOOOOO! I eventually laid down for a little nap. I was freezing for some reason!! It was weird cause it was warm in the house but I just couldn’t get warm. I got up and ate a snack then eventually started on cleaning/chores/etc.

I just got done fixing Katie’s breakfast/lunch for tomorrow and am listening to Angels and Airwaves! <3 Time to relax and play my favorite… LOTRO!!! <3 I wish they would make LOTRO shirts/hoodies because I would buy them and wear them all the time! =P Wishing everyone an EPIC week and awesome start to LOVE MONTH <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3

FINALLY A WARMER DAY !!! So excited that today was almost 70 degrees, whoop whoop! I got up at 8AM this morning, ate at 9AM and then eventually laid back down at almost 10AM and napped for a bit. Got up and did this/that then after lunch I went out with a church friend at 1PM, but the people we tried to see were both not at home. She drove me back home and here’s the highlights from rest of today-

– Cleaned the microwave
– Official driver’s license came in the mail!! Just love looking at it! Hahaha.
– My weight scale quit working so Brad checked it out & had to investigate. He had to take it apart and come to find out that one of the main wires was loose but he fixed it!! YAY. It’s the same scale that I used back throughout 2009 when I lost all my weight so it means a lot to me!
– Took Katie for a walk outside then she ran around out front of the apartment complex

It was a nice day! Now I’m off to relax, play LOTRO, and eventually have my cereal snack- YUM! <3

This week has been pretty average, which is why I haven’t posted the past 2 days.

The highlight of my day is just watching shows in the evening and then playing LOTRO for a bit before bed, lol.

Anyone seen the new X-Files??? AHHH I LOVED BOTH EPISODES! Thought it was awesome and hope they will bring it back, even after the 6 episode miniseries is done. I also started watching Fit2Fat2Fit’s new tv series and have loved that so far too. Watched the 2nd episode today and we’re currently watching this week’s Chicago Med! Awesome episode so far.

So Brad reminded me that Planet Fitness is still hiring for a part-time job and man, I really want that job because it’s exactly what my passion is all about. I still have the offer open for the office job with my Aunt’s friends boss but.. I’m not sure because of the distance of the job and the fact that I’m drawn to the gym because I would love it sooo much more than an office job. I might make more money with the office job eventually, but the joy of working at the gym and helping people would be worth so much more to me. I think I’ll call Planet Fitness tomorrow! We were thinking about becoming members soon anyway! I REALLY WANT THIS JOB.

Sunday we didn’t do much but I did get more house cleaning done.. hoorah!

Today has been decent I would say. I got my new bile acid factors supplements, but it has vanilla in it. I’m sensitive to vanilla but we’ll see how it goes.

Watched Fit2Fat2Fit first episode of the new TV show for it and LOVED-IT. Then Brad and I watched the new X-FILES! Can’t wait to see all of them and hope they will do more episodes after this 6 episode miniseries. Brings back childhood memories!

Dangit, I keep missing days! Alright, so back up to Thursday and my license. We arrived and I got in line and they told me to have insurance card and my permit, but we left the insurance in the car so Brad had to go get it. He came back then I went up to a counter and filled out paper work, they took my picture, and then I had to go get a ticket so I could wait to be seen again. I was called again and went to a counter to get more papers checked then they told me to pull my car around to the side in this circle drive and park facing the parking lot then wait for my instructor. I drove the car up and around the circle (but going the wrong way… lol..) then didn’t know where to stay so I pulled down in front of the driving course in the park space nearby. I sat and watched someone go through the course then saw them drive off onto the actual road part of the test. I waited. My appointment was at 3:20pm and it was just a few minutes after 3pm. Waited, waited. Eventually they came back and the car pulled up close to mine and the instructor got out and was talking to someone else then when the teenage girl got out of the car she looked very disappointed. :/ Maybe she didn’t pass. Looked maybe 16. Anyway, so those people walked back the building and I decided that I should probably get the car back up beside the building where they told me to go. I went back up there and parked then here comes my instructor! She told me to roll down my windows and did the car inspection part. She had me test out the brake, horn, signals, etc. She got in, said hello, then explained the driving test 2 parts. One inside the driving course then 2nd part on the actual road. We drove down to the driving course and got started! First part.. parallel parking. I went blank, lol. I told her I was nervous and she said it was ok, that I could do whatever I needed to do to feel comfortable. She said some people sing the whole time, lol. Or that I could say the steps outside, which is exactly what I had asked Brad about doing beforehand the day prior (and he said no lol) so I felt great about that. I thought of the steps in my head and she said people get 2 tries with the parallel parking. I did the steps and I GOT IT THE FIRST TIME! Woohoo! I had to get out of the spot then back the car completely into another spot and that was pretty hard since I had to back up, go forward, back up, go forward a whole bunch before I finally got it! I pulled out of there and she said to straighten the wheel completely then stop. I had to back up and keep it straight without the wheel moving elsewhere for as long as she told me to then I stopped and she said to go 15-20mph then stop when she said to stop. Then she said congrats you have passed the driving course part of the test! YAY. We drove to the actual road driving part and she said for me to go left and I turned right LOL. I said I’m so sorry- she said it happens often haha. The actual driving on the road was super easy! We drove back and she said I could park wherever I wanted then we got there and she said, congrats, you are now a licensed driver! I told her she was AWESOME. She mentioned I could let her boss know that I said that, lol. I went inside with a huge smile on my face then went to counter 2 where the instructor told me to but no one was there. I waited a little over 5 minutes then someone came finally. I paid for the license and got my paper copy!! I went over to Brad and gave him a thumbs up! I drove the rest of the evening! We drove over to Krogers and my only mistake while driving over there was we went on one of the roads and that lane came up to the turning lane and I needed to get over and Brad said I could speed up and pass but I wasn’t going fast enough and there was a moving truck behind us so umm.. I was way too close as I passed and they honked… wooops. We got a few things at Kroger then drove back to Mom’s to get Katie and I could tell Mom and my Aunt the good news about my license!!! WOOHOO. I came home to eat a late late snack then get a few things done and then my church friend invited me to ride with her and someone else to our monthly women’s gathering and I said sure! Except.. I hadn’t eaten dinner but decided I would be alright until I got back. Well, lol the meeting was fun but we stayed later than I thought! We didn’t get home till almost 10pm. I was starving! Overall awesome tho.

Everyone knew the area might get snow/ice so Katie’s school let them out 2 hours early yesterday. Brad got to come home about 2 hours early too! It started to snow in the afternoon and then more into the night and we got a nice dusting! It was sooo cold last night. We headed out last night real quick earlier than usual to get shopping done. I got up around 9AM this morning and It was snowing a bit! I went back to sleep around 9:30am and didn’t get up until almost noon. We have just been hanging out today and went out to buy a few more things and OMG it was so windy and felt like 15 degrees. EEESHH. I’m supposed to go with my Aunt’s friend to meet my new potential boss’s wife to get an idea of what I would be doing, IF I took this office job. I’ve already told my Aunt’s friend that I wouldn’t feel comfortable driving the long distance alone to where the boss’s main office and house is every day.. its a little over an hour drive on one of the main interstates but the boss told me before that after I had training they could see about setting me up at their other office that is closer to me. I HOPE SO. If not, then I will find something else. It will all work out.

Also, I’m hoping that I’ve found what will really help my health. I was reading old emails between me and the holistic person that helped me back in 2010 and 2011. He said in one of the emails that since I don’t have my gallbladder that I would need to take bile salts the rest of my life. I remember buying them in 2011 but never really using them. I ordered some today and they will be here Tuesday. I know I need more liver support and I will buy a supplement for that when we get tax money and so for now I will start taking the bile salts, which I know will help a LOT. I’ve been having to run the bathroom for quite some time now and that automatically tells me that my fat absorption is really messed up without the gallbladder, which is why I haven’t been able to lose weight and why my health has been such a disaster for a long time.

Well, tomorrow we’re gonna sleep in and I’ll see about getting some cleaning done! Off to play LOTRO and relax!!!

I AM NOW A LICENSED DRIVER!!! WOOHOO!

Today has been a busy, yet unforgettable day! This morning I got Katie on the bus then ate breakfast and started going over the driving maneuvers bit by bit to make sure I knew them. A bit later I talked to Mom and got a hold of my Aunt to ask her to get Katie from the bus since I’d be gone for the driving test. I laid down for a bit of a nap then got up, got a bath, ate lunch, then tried to get online but the Internet had been out for a while for some reason so I just went over the driving steps for the parallel parking and 3-point turn again. Time was going by pretty quick… before I knew it it was after 2PM and I knew Brad would be coming in soon. He got home around 2:30pm and we were gonna practice a few things in the parking lot (which BTW we did practice in our parking lot last night and one of the parallel parking attempts that I did was perfect!) but we decided just to head out. Cut to later and I passed!

I’ll tell more about the story tomorrow, as I still have stuff to do and it’s getting late. I did go to a church meeting and got a ride from another friend from church and had a great time talking about goal setting and health and fitness – which I love of course!! Awesome time, but I got home way later than expected and hadn’t had anything to eat since 5:15 or so and I ate just after 10pm.

Today was awesome. Oh oh and we might get snow tomorrow!! Got a call tonight from the county saying that all schools are letting out 2 hours early tomorrow because of the winter weather advisory and being weary of conditions. We’ll see what happens! I’ll continue my story tomorrow! Super happy about today, for sure!

Welllll, its gonna feel like 5 degrees tonight and we might get some wintry mix sometime tomorrow.

Plus rain. Then more rain. It’s supposed to be raining Thursday when I go for my driving test… *insert UGH here*

Today was pretty average, with nothing to tell. My cousin gave Katie his Star Wars birthday balloon he got this weekend haha.

We were gonna go practice some driving this evening but… it’s too cold.

We will tomorrow and hopefully a bit before I have to go Thursday. The new job that I’m looking at though.. I would have to drive a little over an hour away in heavy traffic on the interstate every single day. I just don’t know.. I’m not even confident with driving in this area, let alone busier areas. We’ll see..

Time to stay warm and play LOTRO! <3

BRRRRR it’s been cold all day! Currently feels like 18 degrees out there.

We had a nice last day to relax. Washed and fixed my hair. I was able to get laundry and a bit more cleaning done. We loaded up and headed out into the cold to get a few things from the store and then home for dinner!

Stayed up last night and played LOTRO for a bit then snuggled up next to my babe and watched 2 episodes of Californication. That show is insane! LOL. Love it. Brad stayed up until 5AM, lol. I just can’t do it anymore. I used to be able to stay up all night and into the next morning. Think the latest I’ve stayed up with the last year has been like 3:40AM? Something like that.

Brad was giving Katie a bath a few nights ago and he said she asked, “Does everyone have a crack?” LMAO.

Oh boy. And she has asked me at least a handful of times the last 6 months or so how babies get out. I always tell her that’s something to talk about later.

TIME IS GOING BY TOO FAST… HALP.

We were gonna try to go to our church meeting – it was a special place this Sunday, about 30 minutes away but we decided to sleep in. Next week is another special weekend of church meetings that are different from the usual, so we might go next time.

Today was a day of random bouts of fatigue for me so meh. I guess the one day I forgot my thyroid meds has thrown me for a loop so hopefully It’ll balance out again cause I was feeling pretty good!

We have just been lounging around and it’s been a cold day and will be in the 20’s tonight.

BTW, The Martian was a great movie! =)

DANG IT. I told myself when we got back from grocery shopping last night that I would sit down and write an entry… but then I forgot! Nothing to mention about most of Friday, except when we left for grocery shopping – I drove the entire way there and back! Still get a bit nervous but just need to continue practice. GO ME! Hah. We got back home, put away groceries, put Katie to bed, and then I played LOTRO for a bit but then Brad started to watch The Shining and I decided to log off and go watch it with him. It was actually a pretty good movie! REDRUM!

It was after 2AM when the movie was over and I was soooo tired hah. Today has been an okay day! Just watched some YouTube videos and Brad headed out to pick up a few things and give some donations away. I cleaned a little, mostly to clean Echo’s cage and give her a good bath! She’s currently curled up sleeping and I’m washing her little pouch that she sleeps in but I know once that’s dry she will crawl in there and sleep a long time.

We’re waiting to see if the church missionaries are gonna drop by then after Katie gets a bath and goes to bed we’re gonna watch The Martian! I’ll play LOTRO a bit before bed too, I’m sure lol.
