We were supposed to see about going Monday for haircuts, but my hairdresser said she was too emotional over her family member in the ICU so we rescheduled for Tuesday at 6:45pm.

Hmmm. Trying to remember what we did Monday? Brad has been wanting to buy a soundbar for the TV for like 2 years, so he finally bought one Monday and it’s really cool. We also went to Kroger for a few things, including chocolates and a late V-day card that I was going to give to Mom!

Brad went back to work Tuesday and me and Katie walked over yesterday afternoon to surprise Mom with the late V-day stuff! She loved it. Brad got off work yesterday and we got ready to go for our hair! Katie was up first and it looks super cute. Just a basic cut, but it was her first major cut in the back so my hairdresser saved it with a ponytail. Brad and Katie left to go check out Goodwill then head back home to wait till I was done.

Eesh It took a long time! We went over what I wanted to have done then she went ahead with part of the cut then put the color in to set. I got highlights on the top of my head then she left some of my natural brown there in various streaks and also added some red on the lower parts of both sides of my hair. After she put in the color I sat under the dryer for about… 20 minutes? She washed my hair then eventually put in the red to set, waxed my eyebrows, washed out the dye and then we went to dry/style! We got there at 7pm and didn’t get home till almost 11pm! I LOVE IT. My hairdresser ROCKS. But *choke* holy cow.. I didn’t set a max price for this since it was an early birthday present, but let’s just say HOLY SMOKES.. I’m never paying that much for hair color again! It was Katie’s cut, my eyebrows, cut/wash/style, plus the colors.

Today has been more of a relaxing day, but I did fold laundry, have another load drying, vacuumed the floors, and am getting ready to watch Fit to Fat to Fit! We’re also gonna watch the new episode of X-Files and Chicago Med – woohoo!
