OK so If you read my blog then you KNOW what Saturday is….. cleaning day!!! I got the house all cleaned which included making up our bed!

Also, here’s Rocko – our chinchilla! LOVE this little guy! Got his cage nice and clean today. He is an awesome pet!

After cleaning, I let Katie down from her highchair to play in the living room while watching All Grown Up: Rugrats episodes. I called one of the elderly ladies for my visiting teaching for church and talked to her for 30 minutes. I LOVE talking to people about The Gospel!!! My spirit was really lifted up after speaking with her. Both Katie and I ate a snack after that then I sat down with Katie in her rocker and read a counting book to her before putting her down for a nap. I got a shower then my handsome man came home for lunch break! We both ate and talked.

Very similar to yesterday’s lunch except instead of a peanut butter sandwich, this was my veggie sandwich! I’ve been fiddling online with a few things and also got my hair fixed. I just finished one of my snacks and am waiting for my hubby to call me on his work break.

When we moved into this house, I was cleaning out the food pantry and noticed a piece of paper taped onto the back of the door? I only skimmed over it at the time but today, I actually read it.

It talks of negative things in life and along with scriptures how we can change our lives through these.

NEVER AGAIN will I confess FEAR for “God has not given us a spirit of timidity, but of power and love and discipline” ~ (II Tim 1:7)

Those are wonderful principles to think about and to live by!!! We shouldn’t fear, we shouldn’t accept defeat, we shouldn’t doubt, we shouldn’t be kept in the bands of worry and frustration… and why not? We have The Gospel. We have the doctrines that Heavenly Father has given us to LIVE BY. A lot of people scoff at these “rules” but If they would just humble themselves to these things and ponder upon them then they would come to find the REASON there is discipline, order and The Gospel is because? HE wants us to be happy but we must CLEANSE ourselves from sin. It’s hard to change sometimes but that same SIN may be keeping us from that very HAPPINESS that is missing from our daily lives. Let us REPENT of our sins daily to Heavenly Father for Jesus Christ DIED for us. He died and gave us The Atonement. The Atonement was brought to pass so that WE could be forgiven of our sins that we will repent for.

We can live happily and The Gospel will help us get there If we abide by the commandments that we are intended to! “Wickedness is never happiness” and so rid of that wickedness in your lives or woe be unto those that do not repent of their sins and do not believe in God. One day we will all have to stand before our Heavenly Father and be judged of all the works we have done while on this earth. Life is a test and we are here to prove to Heavenly Father that we are WORTHY and righteousness enough to come and dwell in his kingdom once our mortal days here on earth are done. I pray that all may search their hearts and ponder the things that pertain to The Gospel and Heavenly Father. I pray for peace on this day! God loves you!!! It’s your life, live it up! We all NEED The Gospel. We all NEED to attend church. We all NEED to pray. We all NEED to love one another. We all NEED to reach out and help one another. We all ARE children of God. We all ARE wonderful and beautiful in the eyes of our Heavenly Father. Focus not on the material things of this world but focus on The Gospel and the happiness, joy and peace It can bring to us all.

The Gospel changes lives. It changed mine. Will you let it change yours?
