Healthy food makes me superrrrrrrrrr happpppppy!!!!

I got up this morning and went about the usual and we were trying to figure out plans since Brad was going to go help his Mom move along with the missionaries from church. I went for a short run outside (that was nice!) and then after Brad got a shower, I did too. The missionaries showed up soon then so did Brad’s Mom to pick them up and take them to her house to help. I had a very average day… when Katie was napping I also laid down for about an hour nap. We were getting pretty low on food but I did have one container of Dannon Vanilla Greek Yogurt so I took that plus some flaxseed, little chopped up apple and a 1/4 cup fresh frozen blueberries… OMG! The flaxseed made it taste like pie crust!!!!! It was awesome. After Katie got back up I got pretty bored. We waited and waited. They finally got back around almost 7PM and Brad’s Mom was gonna let us borrow her car and she and Brad’s sisters would watch Katie while we went to get groceries SO that’s what we did. Bought LOTS of fresh, healthy GOODIES!!!!!!! Got back around 8:40PM then Brad’s Mom and sisters headed out. Katie was already in bed but I had to put pants on her and turn her air on for just a little while since It was really hot in her room.

I had a lot to do tonight! Put away groceries, put things out on the counter to be chopped and start dinner! Brad helped me chop up some of the fruits and veggies, yay! That was a big help for me. I feel really happy to be chopping and stocking up our fridge like I used to. I can’t believe I had stopped doing that!

Good foods we got include:
– raw carrots
– raw turnip greens

Finally sat down to eat this very delicious, awesome DINNER!

Tomorrow we go to run more errands including picking up my birth control, taking a trip to the MEAT market to get all our meats at hopefully good prices…

I’m actually pretty low in the calorie range today so I think I’m going to enjoy a banana split ice cream cone then get to bed in a bit! Brad and I have been going through a LOT LOT lately with car troubles and obstacles in life in general but I KNOW that everything WILL BE OK because I have faith in my Heavenly Father and that The Gospel will guide me in the right direction no matter what. When life gives me obstacles – I try to face them, make a plan to work it out and do whatever I can to make it happen and to OVERCOME them and not just sit, pout and do nothing about it. I used to be like that… no more!!! I am so much stronger and I have grown so much!!! God loves you all!
