Today has been such a blessing !!!! It all started with Brad waking up late. We usually get up around 7:15AM to start getting ready for church but instead Brad overslept and we didn’t get up till almost 8AM so we had to rush, rush to get everything together and I even had to eat breakfast on the go and that was no fun! I always eat slow and having to cram left me feeling unsatisfied and not even full. It makes me realize just how important it is to enjoy my food! We got there just a few minutes late but It was fine. Church was wonderful as always and Brad had to teach Sunday school since our usual teacher wasn’t there! He did a great job even though he was highly nervous, heh. I got to teach in the women’s meeting since the sister that was supposed to teach had to go home because her husband was sick but I always feel honored and blessed to give a lesson. I love talking about The Gospel because it helps me in my own life.

We came home from church in the cold, dreary, rainy weather and I got into some comfortable clothes when Brad noticed he had a voicemail. It was from one of the sisters at church – her son and he left Brad a message saying that he had a HOUSE that he thought we might be interested in! Long story short, we went and looked at it for rent and WE ARE taking the deal! It’s a 2 bedroom nice little house with a pond, garden and a couple acres land. WOW. All of this out of nowhere! I FEEL SO BLESSED! They have put in new carpet, redone the WHOLE bathroom, new tile in the kitchen and we just cannot pass up this offer! We plan to be moved in there by May, WOOO! They have a lot of trees and bushes… strawberries, blackberries, blueberries, grape vine, pears, plums, figs! I’m beyond excited and cannot wait to start cleaning the house to make it ours! The husband owns the house and he’s in the military and he and his wife are busy all the time and do not have the time to keep the house up so they were looking for someone to LIVE in it and the sister from church recommended us! They have a good bit of their stuff still in there so their going to start moving it out right away and they wanted us to paint a few rooms that needed it anyway so we’ll get to that too.

I don’t know what to say except that I am overwhelmed with excitement and happiness! Wow. Just proves that God does give you blessings when you least expect them! It won’t be a house we own but it’s a step up and towards our goal of one day owning our own home and getting away from these apartments!!! I’M READY, I’M READY!
