I have been very pleased with Thursday! I scrambled to get my breakfast done, feed Katie, potty time, etc etc, so we could get ready and I could put her in the jogging stroller to go over to the park to meet up with church friends and their kids for a bit. However, it was actually CHILLY outside and so I put Katie’s hoodie on and I grabbed my jacket, but once we got walking – I had to take it off cause I got hot, lol. It was pretty dreary and chilly outside, but I know the kids had fun. We only stayed about an hour before one of my church friends had to go. She was nice enough to drive me and Katie back, instead of me walking.

Eventually, Katie had lunch, went down for nap, and I did my usual routine. After my lunch, I laid down and took a short nap on the couch. Got some stuff done, then Brad came home a bit earlier than usual! We got ready for GYM TIIIIIIIIME! I fed Katie dinner, then took her to my friend’s house while we were gone. Brad actually wrote down some ideas for a upper body workout, so we got there, warmed up, then got on the upper body stuff!!! STATS AND SUCH:

elliptical, 10 minutes, 1 mile, 115 calories
assisted arm dips – 3X, 85lbs, then to 100lbs, 10 reps
pulldowns – 3X, 20lbs, 10 reps
extensions – 1X, 10lbs
tricep kickbacks (dumbells) – 2X, 10lbs
hammer curls (dumbells) – 10lbs, until I couldn’t
pinwheel (dumbells) – 15lbs, until I couldn’t
upright row (dumbells) – 2X, 15lbs, until I couldn’t
shoulder shrugs (dumbells) – 2X, 40lbs, until I couldn’t
spin bike – 30 minutes, 11 miles, 205 calories
elliptical – 15 minutes, 1.60 miles, 140 calories

Sooooooooo pleased that there’s starting to be more and more sweat down my shirt! I want to get it to where my shirt is COMPLETELY soaked again, like it used to be… bwahaha. Brad had a protein bar afterwards and I had a bite of it, then got a SLIM SALLY smoothie, that had a fat burner boost in it! YUMMY. Oh, and 2 mini samples they had sitting out. Mmm-mmm. Came home to get Katie from friends house and they said she was wonderful, of course. Perfect angel for everyone else, lol. She does have excellent manners… which I am so glad I started her early on that one. Heh. Told them bye and came inside. Brad had college to finish, so I gave Katie a bath. It’s nice to be the one to bathe/get her ready for bed every once in a while. I bathed her, got her dressed, we read a book, prayed, hugged/kissed/laughed and then I tucked her in. =) I’m soooooooo happy that she loves to pray. She kept asking me when I was dressing her “Read book and pray??” That’s usually what her and Brad do on their nightly routine. I’m happy that we are raising her to know that Heavenly Father loves her… and to learn to pray. And to pray often.

I’m actually not that tired! It’s 11:30, so I better get ready for bed. TOMORROW IS A REST DAAAAAY!!! I’m looking forward to it, lol and then Saturday we’ll go again and do a mix between upper and lower, plus cardio as usual. Gonna re-weigh ourselves with shoes/clothes on and compare numbers from last Saturday. We’re hoping to get our body fat tested again to have that number update too.

Just very thankful. It always comes back to me thinking about The Gospel and what it means to me. I know I am a child of God. I pray for everyone… I pray for myself. I want to be like my Heavenly Father. I pray for a humble heart. I think of all the things that I have went through when I joined the church, that forever opened my heart to a new way of thinking — a wonderful, wonderful thing. I wish nothing but happiness, faith, love, and goodness for everyone.
