I feel so blessed. In so, so, so many ways !!! OK, so we didn’t have the best luck when we rushed around to two different car dealerships last night. One of them said they were gonna call us back today and go from there. Well, I woke up around 9AM, got up, and came back to bed for a bit. I woke up with one side of my nose stuffed up and of course felt drowsy. I got up, ate, then the usual with Katie and finally started with cleaning. Brad got up and we were waiting for that one dealership to call us back. Well, they eventually did but basically said they couldn’t do much of anything for us. Alright then! Brad eventually got showered and went to talk to my neighbor about potential other places we could check out. I called Mom to see if she could watch Katie while we ran around and she said that was fine. We got ready, dropped Katie off, and tried to decide where we wanted to go. Our first choice of the day was a local Toyota used car place. Ummmm, EXCELLENT CHOICE! The sales guy we talked to was named Brad TOO! Another plus was that the manager we talked to had been in the car business for 22 years!!! We told Brad the whole situation… how we don’t have a lot of credit and we’re looking to BUILD IT. After lots and lots of talking the manager “twisted and turned” things for us AND WE GOT APPROVED for a nice 2010 Toyota Corolla!!!!!!!!!! The whole process took foreverrrrrrrrrrrr. Plus, they were busy anyway because other people were buying cars as well. We put down a down payment, traded in our other car, and signed signed signed signed. Well, Brad did because it’s in his name. We had to come back and clean out our Mazda then drive it up to the dealership and finished up the end of the paperwork and we WERE SET TO GO in our niiiiiiiice new (well, new to us!!) Corolla!!!

We’ve NEVER had a car this nice and new-ish! It doesn’t have that many miles on it, excellent gas mileage of course, and we both LOVE IT. We were looking at getting a Corolla anyway and Brad (our sales guy) said it’s an excellent choice for us to start off with. Our monthly payment is the highest we’ve ever had to pay (gulp), but we know we can make it work with Brad’s income.

Did I say how BLESSED I FEEL LATELY?! Things are really starting to line up for us. It feels so good after all we’ve been through. SOOOOOO MANY CAR TROUBLES. Well, that is OVER. We are under warranty, the car has been all checked out and good to go, we updated our car insurance to FULL COVERAGE, and so we can drive on! Anyway, we drove over in our COROLLA to pick up Katie, bring her to my neighbor’s, so we could finalllllllllllly go and get our groceries! It felt good to go in our Corolla. I got all my new foods to start my food rotation (starting tomorrow morning!), and a new watch because my other broke! We got everything, came back then I went to get Katie, talked to my neighbor, and then got Katie ready for bath. Brad bathed and put her to bed, while I put away groceries. I got a shower, got out and fixed turkey patties for me tomorrow and also studied my church lesson for the kiddos… yay for multitasking!

I am just overjoyed. I’m getting my teeth fixed. Brad got a new job / raise. I got a new watch! WE GOT A NEW-ISH CAR!!!!! I have a great feeling about this food rotation and that it will help me get my health back. PLUS, DID I MENTION I’M GETTING TO SEE MY FAVORITE BAND NEXT WEEKEND?!!!!!! and we get to drive our new car there! I owe it alllllllll to my Heavenly Father. Everything I AM and EVER SHALL BE. So, so, so, so, so thankful !!! Eek, well I better be off to bed! Think positive and you WILL BE positive! Hold onto faith and it will lead you towards great things – that’s how it has been for us. =)
