Farewell

Aww boo, one of the guys that works at our gym – well, today was his last day! We will really miss him!!! We talked and said our goodbyes tonight.

I washed & folded laundry today and just had a not-much-of-anything kindof day and y’know, it was NICE.

Just keeping positive and holding onto my faith day by day. =) I’m so thankful for my hubby and our daughter and just life in general! I know the last few blogs have been short and bland, but that’s all I got. OH, and Brad came home and said his fav local rock station got dropped!!!! He was really, really bummed over that and many people are too.

OKIE – off to watch Dawson’s Creek reruns!! YAY =)

So …

Today was not very eventful, really. I stayed up really late watching THE VOW! Ahhh, I loved it. Hoping Brad will watch it with me this weekend, lol.

Can’t believe today is already Wednesday! We went to the gym tonight then stopped by the International Farmer’s Market to pick up produce. Gonna keep trial and error-ing foods until I get this right.

Ummmm, time to chill out. This was short but I really don’t have much to say.

Searching

Today I … worked on college, napped, and am still trying to research more about how I can help my health. One day at a time. Brad and I went to the gym this evening, but just did 10 minutes on the elliptical and then 30 minutes of light exercise on the stationary bike. I’m not gonna wear my heart rate monitor anymore, or record my exercise since I know I should just be taking it easy. It’s just I want to be able to be the athlete I wanna be and be able to sweat and do tough workouts, but my body is not able to stand those things – not in it’s current state.

Just the truth. I went to help my neighbor tonight with the kitties again and wound up talking for way longer than anticipated. I wanted to come home and watch a movie…. I might still. I’m not terribly sleepy and deffo not ready to go to bed yet.

I had too much sugar today and even ate a little oatmeal.. yup, can feel a difference. Made me terribly sleepy and a little bummed. Gotta stay away from those things if I even have a chance of getting better.

Jobness

So, talked to the temp job lady this morning and basically she said that she will try to find me something as a starter job…… I hope something comes around soon! Otherwise, it’s been a decent Monday I’d say.

– church ! everything went gooood and then I came home & went to take care of my neighbor’s cats then came home to feed Katie and put her down for nap
– sat down and fiddled online for a bit and did my college quiz
– ate a late lunch then went to spend some alooone time with hubby
– took a small nap
– got up, fixed dinner for later, fed Katie
– took a bike ride over to my Mom’s to spend the evening with her

I feel pretty good, but the bike ride back really had my lungs hurting and I haven’t had that happen in a long time, but I think it’s a good hurt haha. Also – I am soooooo thrilled because my weight is going down again and my other pants are starting to fit. WOOT. I KNOW the supplements/vitamins/l-glutamine are helping.

Healing

Seems like l-gluatmine is gonna be my natural MEDICINE for the next few months! I can tell a diff in my gut, just from starting to take it. I’ve read it may take a few weeks to see a really big diff and a few months to get fully healed but yes!

We got to sleeeeeep in today and then I got up, fed Katie, cleaned, cleaned, cleaned house and we left after 4pm to drop Katie off at Mom’s then went to the GYM! I decided to just do some easier cardio today. STATS >>>

We left and went to the mall so I could get my eyebrows waxed then we walked around and Brad bought a few things from GNC. Stopped by Wal-Mart to get energy drinks and protein bars, plus more browsing. Picked up Katie, came home, got her set in the bath, then went over to feed my neighbor’s kitties and got inspired to clean my neighbor’s house a bit and I know they will appreciate that when they come home tomorrow!!! =) =) =)

It’s amazing the diff I feel in my mood from taking the l-glutamine. It is AWESOME STUFF! I’m excited and thankful. Well, gotta go get a shower still and put together a church lesson for the kiddos for in the morning! Might get some ALONEEEE time with hubby too. ;D

L-glutamine

I’m feeling pretty good tonight, except I have a slight headache… but I think that’s from not drinking enough water today. Ummm, got some college stuff done this morning and later on the lady from the temp job agency got back to me and wants me to call her Monday morning! EEEE!!!!!!!!! I’m ready for a job. Let’s go! =) I researched a lot more about leaky gut and found that L-GLUTAMINE powder can help heal the intestines. Give me some of that! I took the Intestinew formula last night and this morning and DID feel a difference, so I’m excited to see how I’m gonna feel with higher doses of l-glutamine to help my gut, plus it has MANY other benefits. I wish I would of known how AWESOME l-glutamine was when I started losing weight and doing intense exercise in 2009… apparently it helps athletes keep up with their intense exercise and keeps everything good. Yea, I didn’t get that memo and tore my gut up because of it.

GUESS WHAT? I drove to my Mom’s house this evening and even drove all the way out to WHOLE FOODS and that’s quite a bit of a drive. I did well, woot woot. Practice, practice. I bought coconut kefir, plain probiotic yogurt, the l-glutamine powder, my lovely COCONUT OIL, and tried a new stevia based drink.. SO GOOD. I had veggie based sushi for dinner! We went shopping at Wal-Mart then came back home. Brad put Katie to bed, I put groceries away then went to help my neighbor with her kitties again and then talked for a bit before I came back andddd here I am! About to take my l-glutamine and drink plenty of water to help my headache, plus either a movie or more Dawson’s Creek reruns! Well, maybe lol. I might just fiddle online. I think tomorrow is my appointment to get my eyebrows done… gotta make sure it’s tomorrow.

Heavenly Father

Been feeling really inspired to dive into The Gospel like I used to… to study my scriptures more and SERVE my Heavenly Father with more effort. It helps me so much when I do keep up with it.

Speaking of The Gospel! I got up this morning, Brad left for work then I laid on the couch and snoozed a bit before getting up because some ladies from church were stopping by, so I got Katie up, fed, and then she went and played in her room (she LOVES to now!). My church friends arrived (and they both have smaller babies) so they didn’t stay that long because their nap times were coming up soon. After they left, I fiddled online and Katie was so good. =) I fed her lunch and she went down for nap – went to visit with my neighbor for a bit, but it was later than usual so I had to hurry back and get some food cooked before the gym time!!! Feeling hopeful and content tonight. I will hold steadfast to my faith. I cannot tell you how thankful I am for the church of jesus christ of latter-day saints. I know it is the true church and that it has changed me forever and everrrrrr. I just want to keep growing and learning about what I can do to improve my heart and mind!!! To serve my Heavenly Father and inspire others to be positive! Know that JESUS loves you and I do too.

Repeat-o

Today was almost a repeat of yesterday, but it has been a good day! =) I went back to sleep for a bit this morning and like I do sometimes – I slept later than intended, woops but WOW, I was OUT. Awesome!!!!!! I got some college work done then later on Katie went down for her nap. I got a couple of things done, including writing in my LJ, cooking / eating lunch and attempting to call my Mom, but no answer! Went to see my neighbor for a bit before coming back to cook. Finally got a hold of Mom, but she was about to leave so I’ll call her tomorrow or might have to wait till Friday, lol. We went to the gym again tonight, wahooooo! Back at the groove. STATS >>>

Time to relax…….. sounds like awesomeness to me! I’m so very grateful, thankful, and blessed for everything Heavenly Father has given me. My faith and religion mean everything to me and I KNOW KNOW KNOW it has helped me become the person I am today and I know as long as I strive to live a righteous life then I will continue to be a better person bit by bit. =) Okie, goodnight!!!

Body balance

How was your Tuesday? Moving along with the week!!! I didn’t do too much this morning, except I got one of my college discussions DONE. Katie played in her room and then I fed her lunch & she went down for nap. I did more research on Candida and what my online Holistic Doc had told me last year. I didn’t have that much knowledge on it last year, but I know a lot more now than I did then. I talked to my neighbor for a bit and then came back to get Katie up so she could eat her snack. Brad came home, Katie went with my neighbor, and guess what? WE WENT TO THE GYM! Oh, and Brad bought me a cute mug with lots of LOVE stuff on it, heh. I love it. So yeah, the gym! STATS >>>
