After talking to a friend of mine last night on Facebook about my health situation, she asked about my cholesterol levels… I honestly have never had them tested!!! My HDL might actually be really low. Thinking back on my diet in 2009, I had no oils or fish in my diet. I have been taking 1 of Brad’s cod liver oil supplements a day so I’m gonna take 3 of those a day plus putting plenty of omega 3, 6 and 9 into my diet ! A thing I also banned from my diet starting from 2009 was cooking oils… I switched to nothing but non-stick sprays for cooking. Yea, so my body literally needs lubrication inside! We have some coconut and canola oil so I will use plenty of that plus good fats and I just recently bought some new awesome flaxseed from Trader Joe’s!! In fact, I mixed some of it with my yogurt mess for dessert that is currently getting cold in the freezer. Plus gonna try to get some FISH into my diet a few times a week as well. Especially sardines and salmon.. yummeh. Another thing that I USED to have in my diet for a long while was my favoooooorite – CRANAPPLE JUICE! At some point late 2009? I think? I stopped drinking it. That will help my kidneys, too.

This morning I had oatmeal with almond butter….. yum!!! Katie went on our morning walk then I came back to work on college stuff for a bit before doing more health research. Yes, I am all about trying to figure this stuff out! I decided to fix lunch with some canola oil!

I wanted some sweet potato fries….. yummy! Plus a muffin with little almond butter and pumpkin butter. It was soooooo good.

Insert random daily things. I’m so boring!

Katie went down for nap and I refreshed with a hot bath THEN AN AWESOOOOOME NAP. I am loving how much my naps have felt AWESOME lately. DEFFO a good sign.

Our car needs an alignment so Brad started car pooling with a guy from church today and we get our car fixed Thursday and get it back Friday – just in time for shopping! I really, really hope Friday + Saturday are awesome since this last week… not so much.

After Brad got home, I fixed Katie’s dinner then my dinner: 2 flatbread veggie wraps with more canola oil. Brad wanted to go walking again, whaaaaaaaat! Heh. We needed pull-ups for Katie, oatmeal and I wanted to look at a few diff things concering omega’s so we were off for a long, long walk!

It wasn’t too bad outside as far as temp but we did sweat! Along with the things we had intended on getting, I picked up the above mentioned CRANAPPLE JUICE, YEAAAA! Walked alllllllllllllllll the way home – and we saw atleast 3 people get pulled over with our to/from walking. Lots of cops out and about.

Anyhow, I still have to wash off, get my dessert and watch the latest eppy of THE SECRET LIFE OF THE AMERICAN TEENAGER !!!!!!!!!! *SQUEAL* Yes, I am a dork.
