FIRST. Today is a special day!!!!! 3 years ago today, Brad and I were baptized !!! I cannot say how THANKFUL I AM that Brad ordered the Book of Mormon and how thankful I am that my hubby helped me “soften my heart” and open up to The Gospel. Our lives have changed sooooooo much and SOOO much for the better. Brad asked me this afternoon if I could imagine how we would be if we had NOT of joined the church… NOPE. I love my church and I love everything I’ve learned from it and I will continue to learn and grow! I want to be close to my Heavenly Father. I want to help people. I want to be a little better of a person each day and to continue to ENDURE TO THE END! Thankful, grateful and BLESSED.

SECOND. I am putting my willpower into full force. Now that I know I’ve been EFA deficient and am consuming + supplementing those into my diet… I am going to fight through the bad symptoms and not go overboard with calories and ESPECIALLY CARBS. Here is the plan I AM STICKING TO:
1700 calories – 6 meals
BACK OFF THE CARBS! High GOOD FATS, High protein, serving of FRUIT, LOTS OF >> VEGGIES, OMEGAS and good ole H2O!! I have a very, very, very strong willpower but since my whole health mess up, everything screwed up and went out of balance but I am on my way to being balanced and FULLY ENERGETIC and happy like I was before. Oh yea and not to mention – ROCK HARD ABS and shining my positive LIGHT everywhere I go!! I truly had that positive FIRE to me before my health fell apart and it’s still THERE but I can’t let it “shine” so to speak since my spark has been put out for now. When I feel these overpowering bad symptoms from everything being screwed up, I turn to food… especially carbs but no more. I’m gonna stay on track with my meal plans and wait to feel better and I know I will !!! I just gotta endure through the reallllllly tough parts right now.

THIRD. Leads us to THE DAILY RE-CAP! I started the day with my Kashi GOLEAN, Silk DHA enhanced milk, vanilla AWESOME protein powder and a few almonds. I did almost 11 minutes on the Wii Active before we headed off for our morning walk. I had a tablespoon of yummy almond butter on the way out the door. We came back, Katie watched Blue’s Clues while I got on the bike again for a bit. I had a delish unsweetened almond milk vanilla protein shake afterwards. She continued to watch while I fiddled online until LUNCH!!! (GRRR my Flickr is NOT wanting to upload pics…) Scrambled egg, 3 CUPS of mixed veggies, cottage cheese and flax! I cannot tell you how AWESOME that dish was… and it actually made me “feel” good, YUM. I put Katie down for nap then had to get a shower and get ready since a lady from church was coming to visit me for a meet-up. She didn’t stay long but I enjoyed talking to her!!! Also, I worked on our money BUDGET! I used to keep up with it in Excel and so I’m going back to doing that.

I had my Odwalla SUPER PROTEIN bar for my afternoon snackie before getting Katie back up. Brad came home and we hung out before dinner. I had a TUNA/SARDINE/OLIVE OIL wrap with some sauteed veggies!! I put a little of the veggies in the wrap then at the rest on the side. I really liked it! We headed to Kroger’s so Brad could pick up a few things and I got 2 Odwalla bars for my snacks the next 2 days until we go shopping again.

Dessert comes SOON! I mixed greek yog, flaxseed and strawberry jam and it’s chillin in the freezer… will plop it on an ice cream cone and enjoy! I’m feeling some of the “bad” symptoms right now.. I get them throughout the day – mainly into the afternoon and evening. Like right now, my tongue feels like it’s on fire so when I feel that way… instead of turning to food to try to “help” the symptoms, I have been drinking plenty of water. I didn’t take a nap today and I’m feeling a little tired BUT the good thing is I didn’t feel really tired this afternoon when I usually do!

WELL, I did have a picture for lunch and dinner but again, my Flickr is not cooperaring tonight. BOO. Hopefully Brad and I will relax out and watch some Netflix together soon !! I WILL not give in, I WILL get my body balanced — woooo!!!!!!
